Owner was quoted in Angie's List magazine as knowledgeable regarding replacing anode rod. On phone, agreed to try, where other plumbers had been unable to remove old rod. Jolly Plumbing's service man removed old rod and inserted new rod which I had previously purchased. Price may have reflected travel time, from Kentucky..

Came immediately during holiday season, diagnosed problem quickly, found floats and installed within 2 days.

Randy had a devil of a time removing the old (22 yrs) faucet, and ended up having to tear it open with tin snips! He said it was the most difficult faucet removal he has ever faced, and I can believe him. I had originally thought about doing the work myself, and I'm glad I didn't. Randy was punctual and courteous, and we are very satisfied with the results. The labor charge was very reasonable, considering the problems he faced.

We had a very outdated septic system, they quoted us a very good price, and they did a very good job.

We were pleased with Barry Jolly's honesty with respects to the different products available to us. He did not push the more expensive version, but rather offered pros and cons, and related to us his own personal experiences with his own tankless hot water heater. Jolly Plumbing also offered to take our old unit to the Covington ReUse Center at no charge, but as it worked out we had a team here that took it with them. Barry Jolly's crew was pleasant and over came some minor challenges with grace. Our technician, George, was enthusiastic about our choice and told us we would be very happy with the unit. A nice vote of confidence.

Work performed very professionally. Very satisfied with the completed project. Will use them again.

I was a bit in a panic as I didn't know the granite company wouldn't put in the new faucet.. and it was late on a Friday. I contacted a few different plumbers they all wanted huge fees or wouldn't be available until the following week. I contacted Jolly Plumbing and the woman who answered the phone was wonderful and helpful, she said she needed to check with the scheduling desk and would call me back which she did in just a couple of minutes. They had an appointment on Saturday and Saturday is regular hours for them so no overtime charges. The plumber they sent "Randy" was incredible. Very polite, efficient and knowledgable! Everyone I dealt with at Jolly Plumbing was very nice and polite - a joy to deal with!

The stem proved to be a problem and they had to come back twice to fix. Third time was the charm, though, and no drip since. They did not charge us for the follow up visits and stood by their claims to make it right. Price was a little high, but the customer service was excellent. Always prompt and on time.

They arrived early, were friendly and professional. They put dye in all of the lines to look for issues, and also examined the functionality of the septic system. (No issues were noted.)

They are a local plumbing company. They are really wonderful. They are personable and reliable. They clean-up after themselves. They come when we need them. We?ve used them a couple of times. We ask for a particular person there. He has been terrific. The first time we had him, I had water leaking from upstairs to my kitchen. The water was still running and none of the other companies could fix it. So, we called him and he fixed it instantly. However, Jolly Plumbing is not cheap; none of the plumbers are cheap. We don?t have any complaints with them. Our neighbors use various plumbers, but we wouldn?t trade them for anybody else. We will definitely continue using their services.

They were pretty good and quick. They were pricey because it was a very expensive hot water heater that they fixed. It was one that had a blower attached to it. Jolly Plumbing?s price depended on the price of the product. They had a home insurance or a home warranty program when I first bought the house and I availed of it. The work performed was covered under that warranty.

We have used them for years and I have no problem with them. I would recommend them to anybody. Their work is good, they have always treated me well and we have had no problems.

[There is separate feedback explaining the emergency call situation so I won't repeat that here.] Today the men arrived promptly after calling to give me 15-20 minutes of lead time. I was all set for their arrival anyway, but I appreciate when service providers call ahead of time. Their approach to this repair was explained in detail, discussed with me, and agreed upon before the first tool came out of the box. I knew from the earlier emergency service call that the lead pipes under the floor might pose a problem, so I was prepared for the news that more of the floor had to come up. It was kept to a minimum though, and I feel better now, knowing that the other pipes have been examined by a professional.

The cold water supply line to the second floor lav had broken early one morning. I didn't discover it until after it had been going for some time, judging from the conditions I found on the floors below. Water was actively raining down through the ceiling of the living room, and on down through to the basement, where the floor drain had stopped up, creating an ankle-deep flood. I shut off the water to the entire house, opened the faucets in the stationary tubs to drain the pipes, and unclogged the floor drain. I called Jolly Plumbing for help (they had done other work for me before). They promised me that someone would be out by lunchtime that same day, and he arrived when predicted. With all of the other damage and issues caused by the unexpected indoor rainfall, it was a relief to have this repair done quickly and well.

This service call was necessitated by the unfinished work of another local plumbing company that shall remain nameless. There was already free access to the tub's supply lines via the existing opening in the wall, so thankfully no more demo was required. Despite the limited work space, the shut-off valves were installed without incident. I had previously purchased the parts for the tub riser, and I was thrilled to see it in place and working. Showering at home "hands-free" is one of life's little pleasures I had done without for over five years.

Overall a very good experience. The scheduler answered all my questions, then was able to move the work to same-day after finding a technician who had some time. And this was on a Friday, when everyone usually seems to want to stop work early! The techh was professional and not messy, which is always appreciated.

They were very kind. I thought that was very honest of them and very nice of them.

We are preferred customers. They come to us sooner and we get a discount. They have always been courteous. "A flush beats a full house any day" is their motto. Been with them many years and never had any problems.

Called back when they said they would. Wasn t very precise in the estimate, but was clear enough to do the work. Tried to get us in the same day, but when not, we were first the next morning. Actual contractors worked well in explaining the situation and listening and considering the concerns of the homeowner. Added in small extra plumbing, for just the cost of the part, that wasn t a required part of the fix (in order for us to add a sink into the drain line in the future). Little disappointed that they didn t do a better job containing the dust and dirt from the tear out.

Overall it went well. He explained everything to us and went over cleaning instructions with us. We will most likely have them put in a water filtration system. Overall I was very pleased.

They did an OK job. About 3 months later the same pipes went out again and started leaking. I tried to contact w/ no luck. They also never explained the bill to me.

They have also done other work for us. They have re-piped some piping for the sink and the washing machine. They also replaced the piping behind the washing machine because it had corroded. They also put in PVC piping for us. If they have a problem they stay late or come the next day to make sure it's fixed. They are great. They are very thorough.

THEIR SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT! I ALWAYS GET THE SAME TWO GUYS, WHO ARE DARYL AND TRUMAN. THEY DO A GREAT JOB! THEY WERE UP FRONT ABOUT THE TRAVEL CHARGE AND I APPRECIATED THAT. I TRUST THEM.

IT WASN'T UNTIL LAST MONTH WHEN I SPENT MORE TIME IN THE BASEMENT THAT I REALIZED THE PIPE THEY REPLACED LEAKED AT A SHUT-OFF VALVE JUNCTION. I CALLED THE COMPANY AND EXPLAINED THE SITUATION. THEY SAID THEY WOULDN'T FIX IT UNTIL THE LEAK WAS CERTIFIED BY THE GAS COMPANY, WHO WOULD MOST LIKELY SHUT OFF THE GAS. I ASKED THEM TO COME OUT AND USE LIQUID DETERGENT TO ISOLATE AND VERIFY THE LEAK, BUT THEY DECLINED, SAYING THAT WOULD TAKE TOO LONG. IN LESS THAN 1/2-HOUR, I ISOLATED THE LEAK AT THE VALVE THEY INSTALLED, AND FIXED IT MYSELF USING RECTORSEAL. SO MUCH FOR SERVICE!

ON THE FIRST VISIT, WE WERE ADVISED TO CAULK OUR BATH TUB AND IT DIDN'T FIX THE LEAK. THE REPAIRMEN USED MY DECORATIVE TOWELS TO CLEAN THEIR TOOLS AND LEFT GREASE ON THEM. ON THE SECOND VISIT, THE REPAIRMAN TOOK THE STRAINER IN OUR TUB APART AND REPLACED THE PUTTY AND GASKET, BUT IT STILL DIDN'T FIX THE LEAK. ON THE THIRD VISIT, THEY CUT IN TO THE CEILING ON THE FIRST FLOOR BELOW THE BATHROOM (WHICH WAS NOT NECESSARY) AND REPLACED THE WASHER ON TUB SHOE. THE LEAK STILL WASN'T FIXED AND NOW WE HAVE THE ADDITIONAL EXPENSE OF HAVING THE DRYWALL FIXED. A FOURTH VISIT TO OUR RESIDENCE BY TWO OTHER MEN DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM EITHER. YET AGAIN, THEY RECOMMENDED CAULKING ADDITIONAL AREAS WHICH WE DID AND IT STILL DIDN'T FIX THE LEAK. NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE WILL BE HIRING ANOTHER PLUMBER AND WON'T HIRE JOLLY EVER AGAIN.
