Had my roof and gutters replaced. Was told that it would be done fairly quick but the process drug out over several weeks due to “scheduling”. After roof was replaced we found several nails and pieces of metal for the next few weeks. I feel that the crew did put forth some effort in removing the nails but missed a lot. When I came home you could see where it looked like one of the workers cut their hand and touched the drip edge leaving marks. I called and someone came out the next day to clean it off. Fast forward a couple months I woke up and my kitchen ceiling was leaking. I called and no answer. I sent a text and got a response. Someone was supposed to come out in the next few days after it stopped raining. I went in to my attic to see where the leak was and couldn’t find it. I took videos and pictures of the leak and gutters. After someone came out they said they thought the gutters were backing up. I came home and looked at the gutters and saw that in this area they didn’t install any drip edge. In addition to this the gutter didn’t have any slope towards the downspout. This was all installed by RSGC. When I told them what I had found I got no response. I installed new drip edge and adjust the gutter slope. I sent a follow up text telling how disappointed I was with the customer service and lack of follow up. Still no response. I had another job that I was planning on hiring RSGC for but now I’ll look elsewhere. One positive was they have a wide selection of color choices and do lots of different things. I feel that if they made the customers feel more important then these issues would go away. They should be addressing issues and concerns promptly.

I ordered it in early June. I gave several dates for the service and my phone number, noting that timing on my part was very flexible. I heard nothing for about a month. Then I sent an email asking when I could expect them to come. Again, I received no response. A few days later I placed a phone call to the company. I received a recorded message asking me to leave a message, but I could not because their inbox was full. Next I contacted Angie's list, and Marty attempted to contact the company. Still no response. Marty did arrange for a refund, and I am now attempting to find another company to do similar work. I am not sure if the company is out of business, but I would never hire them for any job. They apparently never respond to any contact.
Description of Work: This was a roof maintenance package, including inspection and minor repairs if needed.

Ordered what? I have searched our database of customers and your name nor address shows. We keep copies of all contracts signed for work to be done, I also don't have one of those with your name or address. I find it a bit ridiculous that people can leave reviews without the company even verifying if they are a customer....this is why we no longer pay to advertise with Angie's List!

Went great. They worked great with my insurance company in a very professional manner. The work was completed in a day and a half, right on schedule. I was very pleased with the quality of their work and would hire them again.

Set up 3 dates and never contacted. Called and was told they were never contacted by Angies list. Was told they would contact Angie for me but never heard back so I tried both of them and left messages but neither party has responded. Neither Angie or their contractor came rhrough for me after paying money

Excellent experience! They were very quick to respond, friendly, professional, and did great work. They worked with our insurance company to make it a smooth and pain-free experience. They actually were able to complete our roof ahead of time and it looks fantastic! Love that they are a small company and that we were able to support a local business. It was well worth it! I highly recommend RSGC Roofing and will definitely use them again.

I e-mailed and called to get an estimate on replacing a roof ridge vent that is leaking. They responded via e-mail quickly and asked for my contact information and address via return e-mail or by calling their phone number. I sent a message back and called them at least twice and left my name, phone number, and address and that I wanted an estimate. I never heard back from them and supposedly that phone number is also for emergency repairs. I would hate to see what would happen if I had a real roofing emergency.
Description of Work: I needed an estimate on replacing or fixing a leaking metal roof ridge vent.

I remember the initial email, but not the return email. I apologize if it was lost in the shuffle. As for the phone calls, we have had some major issues with our phones, both land lines and cell in the past few weeks, we actually went for over 24 hours without service due to nationwide outages. I don't know if that is what happened here, or if someone just completely dropped the ball with a phone message, but again apologize.

Horrible, they took us for $2200.00 and did zero work. He has a full page of terms on the back of his paperwork that they don't show you, one item #2 says he or you can change your mind, but, he gets any deposit and will ask for 15% of the total estimate as well. The rich get richer. I did manage to get him down rated to an A- on the BBB site.... Enjoy that greed money RSGC. I wouldn't recommend you to an enemy..... booo
Description of Work: I ask for an estimate for wind damage to three roofs. I offered to buy the shingles to save some money and was told that RSGC could put on a metal roof for the same price as 3d shingles. This was an attractive offer. Ultimately I signed what I was told was an estimate to give my insurance. When I found RSGC far exceeded what my insurance would pay. The owner of RSGC and I disputed to get my $2200.00 back due to not being able to afford their pricing. YHEY WANTED $5700 FOR JUST ONE ROOF, I HAD THREE. I DUD FIND SOMEONE TO DO ALL THE NEEDED WORK FOR FAR LESS. THEREFORE The owner got ma. They retaliated by telling me I'd signed a contract and not only would ge be keeping my $2200.00 he would be billing me for 15% of the total estimate. (Yes, estimste) but it wasn't an estimate. It was a contract without my knowledge. We ended business in a huff around Aug 18 his wife threatening me (this can all be seen on tbe BBB) and the owner saying he no longer wanted to fo business with me either ON THE 18TH but I wouldn't be getting ANY money back? (Keep in mind he did zero work) RSGC never did ANY WORK whatsoever. Zip, notta, yet they refused to refund my money. I took them to court and the BBB. (You can read the complaints on RSGC on the BBB CINCINNATI SITE. RSGC WOULD NOT COOPERATE AND DID DROPPED FROM AN (A) RATING TO AN (A-). WE ENDED BUSINESS BUT JUST WHEN I FILLED A CASE, HE WENT AND BOUGHT SOME METAL FROM HIS CO PARTNER RECIEPT DATED AUGUST 23. WE ENDED BUSINESS AUG. 18. HE WAS JUST TICKED AND GOT EVEN WITH ME FOR CANCELING. GO TO BBB AND LOOK UP COMPLAINTS BEFORE YOU HIRE THIS RSGC CONTRACTOR. THEY USE A BULLYING STYLE OF TALK TO THEIR CUSTOMERS WHO COMPLAIN. IT'S JUST A LOUSY COMPANY TGAT ONLY BECAME ACCREDITED IN APRIL 2016 SND HAS THREE COMPLAINTS. HE HAD COMPLAINTS IN ARIZONA, TENNESSEE AND KENTUCKY. His history here on Angies List don't help... take my word that this RSGC took $2200.00 from a family already in dire strats. My husband is an injured police ofgicer, we're raising our grandson with no support and could not afford to loose this kind of money. The company claims to have done loads of roofs so why keep our money when he never lifted a hsmmer. He did no work at all an managed to keep our money. BUYER BEWARE

Mrs. [Member Name Removed] signed [Member Information Removed] contract with us, chose metal roofing, gave us [Member Information Removed] payment for the special order material. We ordered the material, she decided she wanted to cancel her contract, well outside of her 3 day cancellation period, and well after we had ordered the metal to be cut, because she found someone to do it cheaper. She asked for her money back, we refused because the $2200 that she gave us didn't even cover the cost of the material that we purchased. She then proceeded to file [Member Information Removed] claim in small claims court, which she lost, the judge decided in our favor. She has now made multiple complaints to the BBB, and now Angie's List, telling half truths and straight out lies, not only about us, but about the company that we purchase our metal roofing from. She will be receiving [Member Information Removed] cease and desist letter in the near future for her slanderous and libelous activities. If there is any way that I can upload [Member Information Removed] copy of the material bill I will do so to prove her lies, it is clearly dated August 16, 2016. It was stamped paid on August 23, 2016 because that is when we had to go pick it up due to supplier no longer having room to store it for us. She continues to bring up the 15% cancellation fee, that she was never charged.

This project went perfectly as planned. From the Owner to the guy picking up the trash they did the job very well and actually cared about the appearance of the home not only at completion but throughout the process. They were always on time and very friendly. They even came in below their estimate by 5%. This is the 3rd time I have used this company and would highly recommend them to anyone for roofing/siding/gutter services.

It was done without any issues. From the very beginning when we got our estimate and made the decision to go ahead and replace the roof. This was one of the most expensive repairs we have done to our house. RSGC was professional, knowledgeable and best of all quick and efficient.

Isnt it crazy how someone who's dishonest tries to cover themselves with more lies... and then suddenly THEY are the victim? Here's the story: Company runs short of shingles. Company tries to include an odd-ball color Company not even smart enough to use odd-ball bundle on back side of house. Its FACING THE STREET Company perpetuates lie by trying to blame the shingle manufacturer for mixing odd color in Company goes so far as to pull sample for its claim AND NAILS DOWN A 3RD COLOR ONTO ROOF Company stonewalls customer for more than a year. BBB complaints met with excuses and promises to contact BUT NEVER DOES. Attorney letter ignored. KY Atty Gen Office complaint ignored. As of the date of this review I still have a TRI-COLORED ROOF for all to see. So to any future potential RSGC customers: If you have a very large estate and money to burn, go ahead and roll the dice with them. But if you are a blue collar worker with a modest little ranch home, DONT BOTHER. They'll slap 'em down, take your money, and DISAPPEAR. Maybe the next rebuttal from RSGC will have new excuses. And I thought good customer service should be for everyone.
Description of Work: Roofed home in 2014. Portion of roof was finished in a MISMATCHED COLOR! What did provider do after that? NOTHING! Various excuses include: "Its the shingle manufacturers fault" or "we thought they'd be in touch with you" and "we're so busy now cuz of the rainy spring" or "we're just now getting caught up so we'll be in touch soon" BUT STILL NOTHING So after more than a year now I involve the BBB and an attorney and now its... " I'd be done by now if he hadn't involved them" and "the phone goes both ways" Really?

Mr. [Member Name Removed] is correct that an odd ball color was placed on his roof, not because we ran short, and not due to any fault of our own, the product was mislabeled by the manufacturer. Since Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s review, he has been paid over $7,000 by us, which is more than he paid for the roof in the first place, actually, he didn't pay for the roof, his home owner's insurance did. So, he got his roof replaced by his insurance company, and has now pocketed over $7,000, but that is neither here nor there. As for him being upset at our responses to him, he never ONCE called our office after the initial claim was filed with the manufacturer. The claim was filed in HIS name, not ours, WE don't get info from the manufacturer on claims, as it is NOT OUR claim, it is the homeowner's claim. That is why he didn't hear from us, and he has been told that. I most certainly did email him in the spring, when it was raining almost every day and let him know that our schedule was completely backed up, but that we had not forgotten about him. to which I received no reply. We were going to do the repair at our cost because he made a complaint to the BBB, we had NO choice but to agree to do the repair so that the BBB complaint could be closed(he knew this when filing the complaint). Once the rain subsided I did email him again and let him know that we were finally able to get some work done and that we would be in touch, to which I received no reply from him, I did however receive letters from the KY Attorney General's office, as well as from his personal attorney. His attorney was spoken to over the phone, and the KY Attorney General's office was contacted by both fax and email, so I'm unsure why he said they were ignored, but that is untrue. It's interesting that Mr. [Member Name Removed] states " Company stonewalls customer for more than a year. BBB complaints met with excuses and promises to contact BUT NEVER DOES.", and then states "Various excuses include: "Its the shingle manufacturers fault" or "we thought they'd be in touch with you" and "we're so busy now cuz of the rainy spring" or "we're just now getting caught up so we'll be in touch soon" BUT STILL NOTHING". Seems as though he can supposedly quote what we told him, but then accuses us of not contacting him...interesting indeed. All of that being said, at this point it is done and over with. Mr. [Member Name Removed] has money in the bank and a free roof, and we have since been reimbursed by the shingle manufacturer for the defective material. Had he just let the process take it's course, we all could have been saved a lot of hassle, but either way, it is over and we are thankful for that.
