 + -1 moreEverything is exactly as advertised. Weatherization Plus responded quickly to our inquiry and arrived promptly to deliver an estimate and completed the project as scheduled. All involved were extremely professional and respectful of our home and our time. The work was performed exactly as promised. The web site clearly explains what they do and they deliver. I would definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: The company installed insulation under the floor and a vapor barrier in our crawl space.

 + -1 moreIt went great. They were professional and knew exactly what they were doing. Steven, Travis and Zach all worked very hard in the heat and the result was impressive. I asked for before and after pictures of the sealing that needed attention and they courteously complied. The depth is 16 inches and it was applied evenly. I am really pleased with how they executed the job.
Description of Work: I needed better insulation in my attic. They removed the old fiberglass insulation, sealed areas where air was leaking, and then installed the new cellulose insulation with barriers around the flooring and at the edges to keep the material in place.

 + -1 moreWeatherization Plus is a great company! From contacting them to get a quote, to scheduling the work, to completing the work! They were all very professional, friendly and knowledgeable! They made great recommendations and explained why they would work best for our log home! And they did not try to sell me products and services I did not need just so they could make extra money! I definitely appreciated that! After the initial work was finished, I hired them to completely air seal the interior side of all windows, doors, and walls. That work was great as well. We have noticed a remarkable decrease in our electric bill and an increase in our comfort level! Thank you to everyone at Weatherization Plus!
Description of Work: Air seal and insulate all the attics and knee walls in upper level of my log home, and the garage ceiling in basement level.

Description of Work: Install 2-inch graphite infused Silver Glo insulated foam board on both vaulted ceilings tapered side areas. Air seal all electrical, plumbing and HVAC penetrations. Air seal (2) skylights using graphite infused Silver Glo insulated foam board and 1-part spray foam. Install (10) Tite Shell can light covers over existing can lights and seal with 1-spray foam. Air seal and insulate attic hatch scuttle door. Blow-in approximately 1450 square feet of Cellulose insulation to an R-49 value rating.

 + -1 moreIt went extremely well, they were out the day they said they would be there and completed the whole thing in 2 days. I felt a difference almost immediately!
Description of Work: They did a complete inspection of my home to determine where I was losing heat/air. They proposed removal of the old insulation and sealing of the attic area, putting fire-rated covers on all my can lights and re-blowing insulation in the home. I decided to do all of it and am very happy I did. I've not gotten a new bill yet to determine the actual savings, however I can already feel a difference in the air and warmth of my home. Very glad I had this done!
