TOM'S CUSTOM CABINETS

Description of Work: Tom's was hired to level my cabinets in preparation for granite countertops. he explained to me that it would be $25 for gas and $40 per hour from the time that they began loading the truck to the time they returned to the shop. they arrived right on time spent less than 15 minutes, put in one small " shim" and announced that they were done. I showed them the two notes on the wall that the template maker had left asking that two short pieces of molding that had held up my prior laminate counter be replaced with 2x2s. They replied that they didn't ' have the materials for that. That it would be "fine" and left. The granite people asked if I had the counters leveled and I said yes. However, in front of the sink the counters were so off level that they had to put many shims themselves and it really shows I should have saved my $145 and I would have been just as well off-also, it is only 1/2am hour from vVersailles to where I live in Lexington. No way I should have been charged for three hours!!
