64 Electric, LLC

This is not an electrician that I would recommend. We reached out to him to repair a mess made by the previous electrician/handyman. Normally, I wouldn't post anything negative (at least not to this extent), but we really got taken by this electrician. He was hired to replace an outlet at our pool pump and add three additional outlets on our pool deck. Originally, he was to have used the current outlet location, replace the plug, add an on/off switch and run conduit over to the deck and install three outlets on the deck. I had to do the digging myself for him to bury the conduit to save a little money. The project ended up costing us $440 and the switch worked for a day and then stopped. The breaker kept tripping and we initially thought that it was the pool pump, but even when nothing was plugged into the outlet, the breaker still tripped. I reached out to the electrician 6 times with no response. We ended up having to get another electrician to come and look at the switch/breaker. This time, we used the recommendation of realtor friend. The junction box that 64 electric installed was full of water and ended up shorting out the outlet at the pool. We had to end up having all of the wiring replaced as well as the plug & on/off switch and the breaker. $1122 as of the time I am putting in this note. I reached out to 64 electric again today before I put this note in, but no response. The electrician working on the plug now said that it looked like someone had quickly put in the wiring, boxes as cheaply as he could, took our money and ran. The guy from Electric might be an okay electrician to some, and he sold himself up quite high with us, but he is definitely not okay as a human being to me.

He stopped by to look over the installation site and told us how much it would cost to have the work done, though something unexpected could increase the price. He gave us an appointment day and time, called the day of the appointment and asked if he could come earlier. Yes! He finished the work in a timely fashion and when I asked him the final charge, he told me it was the same as the original estimate and that if anything unexpected had come up, he would have consulted with me before proceeding. Great job!

Kris contacted me within a few hours of my request, scheduled me for the exact day I wanted in the coming week, arrived right on time, was very pleasant to deal with, got the job done quickly and well. Took along and disposed of the old/no longer working ceiling fan so I didn't have to deal with it. Would hire again without hesitation.
