TWO MEN AND A TRUCK

Pleasant young men came and were very respectful. They went over all paperwork. They called before arriving. Wrapped any breakables we requests. Charges 135 an hour. We did phone quote of 6 1/2 to 8 hours but came in under 5. We were able to write in tips. They asked us about where everything goes as they brought it in. They helped us unhook the washing machine when we struggled with it. I would use them again.

Everything was perfect. The professional office staff answered my questions, helped me change my date, and stayed flexible when I wasn't sure how much of the packing I could do. The young men that came to do the move were polite, clean and well-dressed for the job, enthusiastic and energetic, professional and handled my belongings with care. I couldn't have asked for a better move.

Here's the story. I rented a truck and drove it about 500 miles to Simpsonville, SC., so now I'm fried. I had been called on my cell the previous evening that I was still onboard. The day of the move, I was in the rental office when the cable company called to let me know they had arrived. I went to the apt and dealt with that issue still waiting for a call. It turned out they had called my previous DC residence and had no record of my cell with which they verified the previous evening. I got the number for the local company and spoke with Kathy, who had no record of the cell number. I'm assuming there was a communications breakdown between corporate and local. She told me to hang on and she would get back to me. I five minutes, she called back saying she had a crew that finished early and they were on the way. After they'd arrived and had been working a short time, the warehouse manager called to say he was en route. Now here's the kicker. All of these guys were proud of their company and all talked as if the owner was standing right behind them. It was THEIR company. Bare in mind this is a hot, sticky day in SC. Not only did they break some world record in pulling the pieces together but they thought of the company's standing above their own. I have never heard anything like it. Just doggone inspiring. I submit this company's employees exemplify all that is great in the US. And this is a job that started of badly. First class employees, first class company. Moving to the Greenville area? These are the guys you want. If I do an inner city move, I won't give the matter a second thought. I've moved all over the country on contract jobs and I've never been so impressed. BTW, from first observations, the Greenville area is a delight.
