+ -1 moreIn today's world, what is worth to be able to have someone come into your home, whether you're there or not, and trust that they treat your home as if it is their own? A Simple Solution is extremely professional, prompt, hard-working and honest. That is hard to find in a cleaning company, and I have been through many. So many times, when I wouldn't be home, and then come home to find things skipped and not the cleaning I would have gotten had I been home. I appreciate all their hard work and consider them part of our family. It is a luxury for me to be able to afford someone like Stephanie and I would also be a personal reference if she needs that. Being a small business owner myself, she has proven to be very successful and it would be my recommendation to hire her. If price is an issue, she will work through that and you won't be disappointed. What a great company!
Description of Work: Stephanie has been cleaning my house for approximately 5 years or longer. We have a ranch home with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, great room, kitchen and laundry room. We also have an office which she does not clean due to our request. She dusts, sanitizes, mops, sweeps, etc., and all the normal things you would want done for a thorough cleaning. We have a lot of hardware flooring and our floors just shine when she is done. We also have a large short-hair dog, which we try and keep up with as far as the dog hair is concerned, but she manages to get it all up. If you prefer your own products used, she is more than happy to do that. Once or twice a year I pay extra for her to clean all my baseboards, cabinets, and doors.

+ -1 moreOK- when I spoke to them at estimate, they said would use all the cleaning products that I requested. Wanted things waxed and polished and was told that would be done. The surfaces looked nice, but I expected a more thorough, deep cleaning. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding, but when I suggested use of my products to clean, they said theirs was better.

It was an unusual cleaning situation in that it was plaster dust floor cleaning, ledge and sill dusting, appliances and bathroom fixtures only. She fixated on the hardwood floors (which did not need waxing) and ignored other floors. The baths and appliances were moderately clean. The dusting was incomplete.

+ -1 moreI love the service Stephanies provides. She is very professional yet warm and friendly; very energetic and a hard worker. Stephanie is very efficient and punctual. However, if she needs to change the time that she will be at the house, she always calls to ensure it is workable for us. Most importantly, she does a great job cleaning our home. It is so fresh looking and smelling after she's been here. If by chance, I do notice something that Stephanie may have missed, she has no problem discussing the issue and correcting it if need be. She encourages that type of communication. Stehphanie is also flexible. On more than 1 occasion, she has been more than willing to work with me on changing weeks or days to accomodate a party. As far as pricing, Stephanie worked with me to create the perfect schedule that fit our pocketbook. I would definitely recommend A Simple Solution to anybody looking for someone top-notch to clean their home.
Description of Work: Stephanie has been cleaning our home for seven months now. She cleans every 2 weeks. Our home is a 2 story with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. However, since only my husband and I live here, we do not have her clean the 2 bedrooms and bath upstairs on a regular basis. It typically takes Stephanie 2 hours to clean each visit. I am very impressed with her efficiency and the end result. The service that she provides each visit includes: 1. Large master bedroom and double walk-in closets: dust and vacuum 2. Large master bathroom: mop floors, wipe down double sinks, wipe down front of cabinets, clean double vanity, mirrors, shower tiles and glass wall, bathtub, and toilet, dust blinds and window sills (3) 3. Powder room: mop hardwood floor, clean pedestal sink and toilet, dust blinds/window sill and table. 4. Living room: dust and vacuum 5. Dining area: dust and vacuum 6. Kitchen: sanitize counter tops, large island, and sink, clean gas stove top, wipe down all stainless steel applicances, wipe down front of cabinets, sweep and dust window sills 7. Office: dust desk, credenza, book shelves and other furniture, dust blinds and window seals, and vacuums 8. Laundry room: sweep and mop, sanitize countertop and sink, and wipe down front of cabinet 9. Foyer, hallways, living room, dining area and kitchen: sweep and mop all hardwood floors. 10. Trash is emptied from each room and all baseboards dusted We will request that Stephanie clean the 2 bedrooms and the Jack & Jill bath upstairs maybe every 3-4 months. Stephanie uses her own professional grade vacuum cleaner and provides cleaning products. However, she is very open to using any specific product that you request and provide.

+ -1 moreI've been searching for a cleaning service for months and Stephanie was the answer to my prayers. She does great work. Stephanie is very professional, always on time, upbeat and full of energy. She works with you to get the type of cleaning service you want at a price you can afford. She uses eco friendly cleaning supplies that do the job, but without strong oders. If you prefer something different, she will accomodate. I was worried when I moved into a larger house that I wouldn't be able to afford a cleaning service any longer, but Stephanie worked with me to create a cleaning schedule that fit my needs and my pocketbook. I recommend Stephanie to all my friends.
Description of Work: Stephanie cleans my two story, 4 bedroom home every two weeks. It typically take her 2 1/2 to 3 hours to complete. I'm impressed by how efficient she is. We created a schedule to clean high traffic rooms every two weeks and less utilized rooms are on a rotating schedule of every other week. This allows my house to stay clean and minimizes my cost. I also make sure that everything is picked up before Stephanie arrives to make sure I get the most out of the service. Here is a list of what Stephanie cleans at each visit and what is on a rotating schedule. Every Cleaning: Upstairs: Vaccums upstairs hallway, stairs, child's bedroom, large master bedroom, walkin closets, bonus room. Cleans Master bathroom & kid's bathroom (mops floors, wipe down sinks, vanity, mirrors, shower tile & tile doors, bathtub, and toilets) Dusts Kid's Bedroom furniture, master bedroom furniture, chair rails, window seals, wall hangings, blinds if needed, and bonus room. Main Floor: Living Room: Dust, vaccum, blinds and fan blades as needed). Kitchen: sanitize counter tops, sink, stove top, outside of appliances, sweep, and mop. Foyer/hallways: sweep and mop hardwood floors Laundry Room: Sweep and mop. Sanitize countertop and sink. Office: Dust desk and office furniture, chair rails, window seals, and vaccums. Stephanie also emptys the trash from each room. Everyother visit we alternate these two things: Vaccum and dust formal living room & dining room or Vaccum and dust 2 spare bedroom and clean guest bathroom. She uses a professional grade vaccum cleaner and provides cleaning products unless you want her to use a specific product of which you would need to supply.

+ -1 moreA Simple Solution has been my cleaning company for a few years now but I just had to write another review based on recent experiences. Stephanie and her workers do an outstanding job! They are always responsive and thorough. I never have to worry about them taking care of our things.... they are so careful! And, they are completely reliable. I love being able to just rely on them to take charge of what needs to be done and get it done. But they are also always helpful when there is a special situation, as when I had some special guests coming and needed some extras worked in. You cannot do better than this company. REasonable! and good..... love it...
Description of Work: General cleaning plus some special services requested for upcoming special events. Cleaned all areas of house and used good products and techniques for a thorough and efficient cleaning.

Description of Work: Contacted service provider on 15 June and requested evaluation and quote. Service provider did come out to house for a walk-through and took notes. At end of visit, provider advised us that she would formulate a quote "in a few days" and email it. Email address confirmed prior to her departure. It has been more than two weeks, and no quote has been received. If the service provider was not interested in the job, it would have been professional and courteous to just send a quick email to advise us of that.

Not only do they do a professional job, but they are hard-working and honest, and I definitely do not have a problem with them in my house when I am not home; in fact, they have their own key. I have requested additional services in the past such as hand-wiping down my baseboards and all my woodwork, cabinets, etc., and they have been very fair in pricing and do a great job. I have been through many cleaning people because I am very particular, and I have finally found a company that is consistent and I notice they do "extra" things that other companies would nickel and dime you to death. I would highly recommend this company and if you choose someone else, it's your loss!
Description of Work: My home was cleaned professionally by A Simple Solution. They dust, sanitize, mop, and are very thorough. I have allergies and requested they clean with my organic products and they were more than happy to do that. You won't find a better cleaning company.

+ -1 moreStephanie (owner of company) provided on-site quote in reasonable time frame from when initial phone call was made. Cleaning has been overall good quality based on charged fee. There have been a few items missed and I wish they could be a little more thorough but I am very picky and have to realize they would have to charge more due to the time required to meet these requests. The owner is open to feedback on cleaning and corrects anything that was missed on the follow-up cleaning. She is very professional and listens to the customer. Bottom line is that if you need a "good" houskeeping service, I would recommend "A Simple Solution".

She was on time and delivered on everything she promised on her quote. The house looked great - our hardwood floors were gleaming.
