I gave him $300 up front to have him cut a few trees in the front yard. he said he needed $ to go and get his chainsaws , I obliged and he left, said he be back shortly and never came back. he had done this to my nextdoor neighbor too.

The guys came out as promised on Monday Aug 15th to cut up a moderately sized fallen tree and to take down a very small tree after a wind storm in Oldham County. The exact deal was to cut up trees, remove debris and grind the stumps. They were to return to grind the stumps because they didn't have the grinder with them and "usually make a day of grinding stumps". I was even provided a written receipt by the owner's wife that clearly states that they are to return for the stumps. As of 9/18/11, the stumps have not been touched. I have called them every week since but as of 8/15/11 and each time I've been told that someone else has the "stump list". I have never been given an approximate time in which the job will be completed. I would recommend you find a more reliable, trustworthy company with which to do business. Because they have failed to honor the contract that was made, I give them an "F" and would not use them again.

It turned out very well. He charged $500 per tree, and it was cheaper than anybody else.
