If a contractor can't be bothered to call when they say they will, I'll assume they won't show up when they say either. Won't be trying Chadwell Electric again.

We have never written an online review of a contractor before, but we strongly believe that Chadwell Electrical Services deserves a nod for all the wonderful work they have done for us over the years. Almost a decade ago, we were first introduced to Tom Chadwell, owner of Chadwell Electrical Services and, ever since that time, we have never used any other electrician. Tom has successfully completed an enormous amount of complicated, custom electrical work in our old home during multiple, extensive renovations (including installing a smarthome-type of home automation system, a whole house generator, pristinely re-wiring our home and panel, installing sub-panels etc), all of which has required clever and thoughtful planning and careful execution. Tom's work is always of the highest quality and he is an extremely personable, friendly and loyal guy, who I trust implicitly. He has never let us down and has always made himself available to us any time we have needed him. Of the literally hundreds of people we have had work on our house over the years, Tom is, hands down, a family favorite. We highly recommend Tom and his services. He has proven himself to be an excellent and very creative problem solver, which we have very much appreciated on our complicated renovation projects. We have not yet discovered any work that he's been unable to perform. Tom is consistently fair and always does fantastic work, which is unfortunately an absolute rarity in today's ever-changing world of construction. He definitely stands out in the crowd. Very highly recommended.

We just saw him and told him what the deal was. We told him that nobody would come out and do this. He made an appointment and came out several times. All he did initially was to do my wiring. He appointed a staff to make sure that candid unit was working. He told that he won’t make sure that the work is done but will make sure that our candid unit will work. He was really good. The owner is Tom Chadwell and he was the actual person who came out and did everything. He also gave up his weekends. He came up couple of times on Saturdays and stuff like that to work. So it wasn’t their job. It took several times to come in and out. We haven’t had the inspector to come out yet as he has not finished up with it but he wanted to make sure that everything were fine. There were some issues with it and he solved that issues. That isn’t really a part of the electrician’s contract but he said that he was going to make sure that it would work and that is what he is being doing. It’s working but isn’t working the way it should right now. So he is going to come out and change a few things. We are going to have an inspector out to check it.
