Their price was very reasonable, we received quotes from 4-5 different companies before we picked one. They arrived on time, were neat and cleaned up after themselves. I appreciated that they didn't track paint all over my house. They did a great job.

By FAR the best contractor expeience we have had renovating this historic home over the last 3 years. The crew was amazing. Easy to work with took care of every small detail. The quality of the materials and the craftmanship was second to none. Everyone that has come to the house since the painting was done has wanted to know who did it and I am more than happy to spread the word. Just a great experience and when we do the interior again next year, I wouldn't call anyone else. Just wonderful.

It went very well. They came came out very fast and did the service next day. I am pleased and impressed with the painting job performed by fresh coat. even though it was a small project the comp president made a personal inspection and meticulously covered every detail before and after the work was completed. The quality of the work was superior and the job was finished ahead of schedule. Also the price was very reasonable.

Original color I picked did not work. Terry made every effort to obtain different paint samples until we were satisfied with the results. Terry returned upon completion of work to be certain that we were happy with their work. Crew members were professional and also committed to being certain work was completed to our satisfaction.

Terry's crew did a fantastic job sealing my deck! I deal with a lot of contractors and Terry's company is the only one that delivers on everything...........Cost, Quality, and Delivery. I got four quotes and he was the lowest cost but he used the best materials. I usually never go with the lowest bidder but Terry's crew had done work for me before so I knew their quality would be great. I don't know why I even bothered getting the other quotes. I will definitely call him again!!

Staff are all professional painters, very friendly and experienced. Took great care in preparing the walls, fixing nail pops and picture frame holes, plus fixing cracks in the drywall. 14 foot ceilings were no problem. They forgot to tape the baseboards and paint spray was a problem. We will definitely use them again.

What I like about Freshcoat is that the people who are doing the work are actual employees of the company. The owner actually came out on the first visit with his guys to match the paint and prep our front door for painting. The next day they came out and power-washed the front door and even power-washed our sidewalk which was a nice touch because they didn't have to do that or they could have charged. Two days later the guys came out and painted our front door and side window panels. They were very professional and sweet to my three year old little girl, my wife and myself. At no time was I worried about having them in my house or near my family. After they were complete they took me outside to inspect and they even did a third coat of paint at no charge (going above and beyond). They stated if there are any problems I can call them up and they will come back and fix it at no charge. They said my satisfaction was of upmost importance. They even showed me how to install and remove the weather stripping from the front door. This company was affordable, professional and went above and beyond. I will be using this company again.

We were in a pretty bad condition last fall. Our wooden home wasn't properly painted a few years ago and it was pealing terribly and exposing damaged boards and rotten sills. We called Terry and he soon made a visit to our home. He was polite and professional as he assessed the work needed on our house. Quickly after this visit, he sent an estimate with other documentation showing his liability insurance, workers comp, etc. We thought the estimate was fair and picked his company. His estimate was the middle priced between three companies. When the painting began, his crew was good and worked most days the weather allowed to complete the job. They worked weekends, including a UK football game. I think they had other painting jobs and they tried their best to finish everything before winter. They finished our place in about ten days and did an especially awesome job on repairs. Billy, one of the carpenters, did great work replacing old window sills. Overall, the paint job looks superb and has survived an usually nasty winter with no problems. If you would have seen the home before, you would appreciate the work they did. It's a classic before and after scenario. One thing I like about Terry is that he stuck by his original estimate, even though more work and materials were needed to complete the job. Older homes present unique challenges and I don't think Terry will nickel and dime you on every detail of work. He left our home and lawn clean, and gave us a couple gallons of paint for future touch ups. The only aggravation I had was getting the crew to start. From time we committed to Fresh Coat and the job starting, I think might have been a month and winter was quickly approaching. To be fair, I think they were pretty busy with other jobs, so just plan accordingly. In summary, I would highly recommend Fresh Coat, Terry, and his crew.

Great job on exterior windows with peeling paint and some rot repair as well as interior walls. Patient about changing paint color at last minute in order to get exact match. Professional and showed up on time as promised.

Dennis and Tony were very nice. Dennis reviewed the job and indicated they would remove outlet covers, other things prior to painting. They finished the job very quick, and as it turns out, I think too quick. Weeks later I continue to find areas of walls that we're not covered thoroughly, marks of paint color on the trim and ceilings, paint on outlets and wall plates that were not removed and spatters of paint around the perimeter of nearly every room. I've spent hours picking tiny splatter off my hardwood floors and wall plates. The job was sloppy or too rushed, and worse though is I'm pretty sure we didn't get 2 coats. There are just too many places that we're not coated with paint. But we paid for 2 coats worth of paint. Dennis did say let him know if we find anything, and I did for a few things which he took care of right away but at this point there's just too much. The job was not done well, especially for the cost. We overpaid by at least $2000. I think we got taken.

An estimator came to our house on October 1st to review the work we need completed, and he was supposed to email us a quote within a day or two, but we never received a call or email. I called the estimator's cell phone on Friday (10/4) and left a voicemail, no return call. I called the office in Lexington on Monday (10/7) and they were to send him a message and I "would hear back today", never received a call or email. I called the Lexington office today and the person stated "he must be busy" and they were going to page him again. It shouldn't take 1 week to provide an estimate to paint two bedrooms and a basement (some re-mudding in basement).

Everything went well. Lots of glazing required on the windows. Several spots of rotted wood replaced SEAMLESSLY! All work done in a reasonable timeframe.

Crew arrived on time. Team was professional and consulted me immediately when they had questions. I had two other contractors on site and they worked with those contractors so that everyone could finish their jobs.

I contacted Fresh Coat about painting my pool deck. It took a few days for them to come out and provide me a quote. That same night, I received a very nice, professional email that provided all the details on what they were going to do. I also received additional documentation on their licensing and insurance information. I decided to hold off on the painting because I have some other things to do first. I will use them when I am ready. Very professional.

Everything went well. Terry the owner came out and did the measurements and was very friendly. I had other estimates done that were cheaper but they did not do any measuring like Terry. They "eyeballed" the job and gave me a number. I like specifics and numbers so that I know I am making a good decision. Also, Terry said they would fix the imperfections in the wall. The other estimates I got told me to go around and circle all the spots I wanted fixed which I did not like at all. I believe that's part of their job to know to fix and find imperfections in the walls. I got the quote a few days later which wasn't a big deal as I wanted the work done the next month. On the day of the job they were a little late and I had to call to see what was going on. That bothered me since I had other things I was trying to get done. But once they got here they were very professional. They were workers of Fresh Coat. I liked that they have their own employees and not people they just hire out. They introduced themselves and were extremely nice. They were quick and clean and did an amazing job. Terry even stopped by to check on them and see how they were doing. We are thrilled with the end result.

They were really good. I've had bad luck with painters in the past but they were really great with that. They have a great customer service. They were running five minutes late to give the estimate and they called to let me know. It's extremely hard to find because usually that can be five hours late without calling. They called, let me know that they're running five minutes late but they would be there and I really appreciated that. They're very friendly and gracious good people.

They were excellent! They arrived as scheduled, worked hard, and cleaned up very well. They gave great attention to detail, doing things the way the homeowner would want them done. The woodwork had been painted by the previous owners a variety of colors, some dark, and the painters painstakingly returned it to a nice, clean white, in some places taking four coats to get it done right. I would certainly hire them again for any future painting.

The employees of Fresh Coat were professional, wore business logo shirts and were very neat around my property. They had to repair several areas that were rotting on my porch and stair railings and did an excellent job with that as well. They arrived the first day to pressure wash and remove rotting wood and then began the painting process. Rain slowed them down but they took advantage of every opportunity to get the job completed as quickly as possible. They were very pleasant to have around.

Quote was about double to other painter quotes. Very slow in providing quote, I had to call several times to get his quote. Don't believe they actually do the work, probably a middle man and finds subs to do the work.

They people who came out were excellent, thorough, and pleasant. I felt totally comfortable having them there in the house and working. I thought the cost was a little expensive, but they provided great quality and were prompt at getting in and completing the work. They covered and taped things appropriately. Everything was well done and completed quickly in one day. They cleaned up everything after themselves and I had no issues with them. They owner came by after the job was complete and checked everything. The owner couldn't have been any nicer. They did a great job! I was very pleased.

The work turned good. Their price was really good. There is only one small spot where you can still see a little red through the green.

They did fine! The work took a day and a half. It took a little difficulty getting them to come in because they were swamped. The owner was happy to come by and check on the work so it wasn't just the painters.
