Perfect Edge Painting

Very well, no mess, professional: prompt. Small business family owned would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future. Literally the easiest process I've ever dealt with via hiring unknown contractors.

Painter was very neat, trim work sharp, cleaned up after himself. Room looked much better.

Our experience was excellent. Our house was in very bad condition and required a lot of prep work. When we purchased the home the exterior paint was badly chipping. All this paint had to be removed, which was done in a safe manner.Terry and his crew were always very professional. When we would call to ask a question our calls were answered or replied to promptly. The crew cleaned up every day and went above and beyond with the job. We got 3 other quotes and while Terry's wasn't the cheapest his knowledge and professionalism is what made us choose him. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone. I attached pictures that show the before, during the process (where paint has been scraped), and after.

Terry and his crew were fantastic. They arrived on time and completed the job 1 1/2 days sooner than quoted. They were very aware how disruptive a job of this size is to the customers. They did everything in their power to minimize this inconvenience. Terry's painting crew of five people were outstanding. They worked diligently and were always checking to make certain we were happy with their work. I would rate the quality of their work outstanding and I'm so glad I chose Freshcoat to do this job.

Wonderful. The crew was very professional and efficient. They were punctual and cleaned their mess daily. My husband and I have high standards and those were met. They also fixed our columns that were crumbling at the base and did a superb job. I attached pictures that show the before, during and after. Process took about 3 weeks because we had so much paint that was peeling and flaking.

Terry was very helpful and gave me a comprehensive estimate. CW and Jake were a hard working team and did an excellent job. They did several extra jobs, accommodated changes I made, and left my home clean every day. All in all, it was a great experience.

They had some challenges, and other companies estimated a much higher cost. Before they came, they emailed me their license information and proof of insurance. CW and Jacob were punctual, professional, and did a terrific job! There were no surprises!

I contacted the office of Fresh Coat and set up a date for an estimate (Nov. 18). The owner, Terry Williams, showed up on time and seemed very personable and knowledgeable. After discussing the areas that I wanted painted and dry wall repair, he took measurements and said he would email me the estimate. The following day I received an email with the proposed estimate. I felt the estimate was reasonable and emailed such back to him and indicated that I would be in touch soon to schedule a date for the project. I called his cell phone on Monday, November 30 and explained that I would like to schedule the date for the painting. At that time, I also explained that I did not want the family room ceiling completed yet(due to all the Christmas decorations), but I would like to proceed with the half bathroom and closet. I waited 3 days for a return phone call and received none. So on Friday, December 4, I called his office-TWICE-both times I was assured that someone would return my call. When I did not receive a phone call on Friday, I emailed his business on Sunday, explaining the numerous times I had attempted to contact him to schedule the work. I explained in my email that if I was not contacted by Monday, December 7, I would look for another company to complete my project. No return phone call or email. I'm very frustrated because Terry and I discussed the fact that I wanted to have the half bath completed prior to Christmas. He stated that his company had several exterior jobs they were trying to complete, but would have time to also complete my project prior to the holidays.

Everything went really well. I have no complaints. It took a little bit longer than he expected but other than that everything was fine. I had his guy do some sheet rock in my kitchen as well. They were very accommodating. They came out to do some measurements and discussed my project. I ended up with 2 gallons of paint extra but that's hard to know, it depends on the paint company and the texture of the walls. The guy was out here on time. He worked with me as far as timing. The guys were very polite. They didn't look like some bum off the street. My wife's a nit-picker and she complained about a couple of things and he fixed them without giving her any crap. It ended up being good.

Terry was very prompt in his response and professional in all interactions. Easy to contact and communicate with. In the end we used another service partly based on price and partly on when they were able to start.

Terry provided a very detailed proposal that made it easy to prioritize various aspects of the job. He was very professional -- always on time and responsive to inquiries. The weather did not cooperate with us for much of the summer, and as a result the project was delayed a few weeks, but that was certainly not under Fresh Coat's control. Terry kept me posted about the number of jobs in the queue before me, so I never felt "forgotten." The work itself was well done. Terry provided great service when we encountered a problem with storm windows that were previously taken down for repair work. The problem was that after the repairs, the storms no longer fit! Terry and the crew found a cost-effective way to deal with this problem, even though it took them a couple of extra days to complete the job. I will definitely turn to Fresh Coat for another painting job that is on the not-too-distant horizon.

Mr. Williams came by to estimate, provided color chart, written proposal and even matched the color with the existing window trim. His crew were on site on time, working hard. Each person has a designated area to cover. It was quiet and efficient. The job was done properly and effectively. It was very organized and professional.

Terry Williams, representing Freshcoat, showed up on time for our estimate appointment. However, the estimate was not ready for over a week. I had already hired someone else.

We needed some interior painting to be done in our home. We had contacted Freshcoat and within a half-hour we had an appointment set up for a free in-home estimate. Terry Williams showed up to our home exactly when he said he would. After discussing our needs, he took some measurements. He said he would email an estimate that night and he did. We found the price to be very reasonable. The price included the necessary paint and supplies. Two painters came to paint and we had the same two painters the entire time. The painters moved the large furniture out of the family room and then back in where it belonged. The kitchen table was covered up with a drop cloth. Mr. Williams did come to our home during the process to check on the work. They also did repair some minor wall imperfections. There are two areas of drywall imperfections, due to faulty installation, that were not evident until after painting. They said they can come and fix that if we wanted. The paint looks really nice and they finished on schedule. Definitely a professional job. Mr. Williams said the paint is guaranteed for 2 years. We are pleased that we had them paint our home. Mr. Williams was very prompt in appointments, emails and calls. We feel it was the customer service that makes FreshCoat a stellar company. It is nice to know that when you trust others with your home that they are responsive and considerate. We would definitely have them paint for us again should the need arise.

In early September, after the weather started to cool, we contracted the company to paint our front and rear doors. They came out gave us an estimate -- high but with the Angie's list creds, we accepted. We worked with them to select colors for the doors and door frames and gave them the clearance to begin. They never showed up. At first they answered emails, then they stopped. Then the weather got too cold to proceed, so we will have to start again in the spring. Next time with a contractor that exhibits a higher degree of professionalism.

They did a great job in all areas. They cleaned up around the area. We would certainly use them again. We have recommended them to our friends and neighbors.

We had them paint two walls in the past and realized we needed the stringers painted as well. They are good and extraordinarily responsive. They really do what they say they will do. The only issue we had was finding stray paint after the walls was done, but we let the manager know and the issue was taken care of. *B for quality is just because they weren't as precise about cleaning up and getting paint on other things. Other than that their work is good. They could not be nicer to deal with.

The timing of the estimate and the work were timely and convenient. The overall quality of the painting (and the paint itself) was excellent. There were a few things that didn't get done that were scheduled (e.g., chimney cap, complete painting of the posts on the back deck), but they returned in a timely way and completed them. The only issues I had at all were 1. I asked that a shutter on the south side of the house be secured again before the painting was done as it had worked loose at the top of the shutter--this was not done. 2. I asked that the chimney cap be painted with rustoleum, and the paint for the shutters was used instead (although it was approved for metal). Overall, I'm very satisfied with the painting, but I'm still going to have to figure out how to deal with the loose shutter (it's too high for me to access). Update: On inspecting the back deck this spring, I did notice some posts that were not painted completely, and this was after having the painters come back to paint places that had been missed the first time around.

I think the quality of the paint was a bit over sold. They had a crew of two people painting. They did a fine job and completed the work in two days.
