 + -1 moreI have recommended a lot of people to him. He is a wonderful and honest man. I recommend anybody to go to him. He is cheaper than anybody. He is a good computer technician.
Description of Work: He worked on my computer. He put another DVD burner in. He wiped it clean and put a new memory in it.

 + -1 moreFROM BEGINNING TO END WAS AN "A+". VERY VERY SUCCESSFUL. I STILL CALL HIM FOR ASSISTANCE OR ADVICE. HE ALWAYS HELPS ME IF HE CAN SOLVE ISSUES OVER THE PHONE. NOT ONLY IS HE A GREAT COMPUTER TECHNICIAN, BUT ALSO A VERY VALUED FRIEND. HE IS HONEST. I PURCHASED WINDOWS 8. MY COMPUTER WON'T RUN WINDOWS 8 DUE TO NOT HAVING A BIG ENOUGH HARDDRIVE FOR IT. I AM PLEASED WITH THE OPERATION OF MY HP COMPUTER. I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND TERRY HAIL AT POBOY COMPUTERS WITH ALL YOUR COMPUTER NEEDS. IF YOU WANT TO SAVE MONEY, HE IS THE PERSON FOR THE JOB.
Description of Work: I WENT TO OUR LOCAL GOD'S FOOD PANTRY AND WAS TALKING TO SOMEONE SITTING IN THE LOBBY ABOUT NEEDING A GOOD, HONEST, NOT VERY EXPENSIVE COMPUTER TECHNICIAN. SOMEONE GAVE ME A BUSINESS CARD. IT WAS POBOY COMPUTERS, OWNER TERRY HAIL. I GAVE TERRY A CALL AND EXPLAINED TO HIM WHAT MY COMPUTER WAS DOING AND TOLD HIM I HAD VISTA ON THERE AND WHAT HE WOULD CHARGE ME TO DO THE WORK ON IT. HE GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE. IT WOUND UP BEING A LITTLE CHEAPER THAN WHAT HE HAD STATED. UNINSTALLED VISTA AND INSTALLED WINDOWS 7, ADDED MORE MEMORY AND INSTALLED THE DVD BURNER. THINGS WORKED JUST FINE. I TOOK MY COMPUTER BACK TO HIM A SECOND TIME TO DO SOMETHING ELSE TO IT. MY POWER SUPPLY HAD WENT OUT SO HE HAD TO INSTALL ANOTHER POWER SUPPLY. TERRY IS AN EXCELLENT PERSON TO WORK ON ANY COMPUTER PROBLEMS. I KNOW I AM SURE SATISFIED WITH HIS SERVICE. I KNOW I CAN DEPEND ON HIM FOR ALL MY COMPUTER NEEDS. IF I HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT PROGRAMS OR ANYTHING, I CAN CALL TERRY FOR HELP. IF HE IS BUSY, HE ALWAYS RETURNS MY CALLS. I HAVE ANOTHER COMPUTER I AM GOING TO TAKE TO HIM TO WORK ON IT.  + -1 moreI was very pleased with the work done by this company. The price was more than fair and I couldn't be happier with my systems.
Description of Work: Po'boy's has built me 2 new systems. The first one was a great system that would have run about 1600 to 2000 had I had it built by any other service. Just on one system I saved as much as if I had bought from computer companies or some other name brand. The build process was easy and extremely quick. I told Mr. Hale what I wanted and gave him the price range I could afford and was shocked at what he was able to do with the price range I had. I never would have been able to afford a system like this had I not found him to build it. I was so pleased I had a second system built by Po'Boy's and still could have another built for what I saved on the first.

 + -1 moreMy computer was infected with virus, and several trojans and was super slow and froze up a lot. I took it to Poboy's and Terry checked it out at NO cost. He said I needed a wipe and reinstall and a ram upgrade. I had 256 mb ram and he ordered a Gig stick for my computer at less than half what I could have bought at the local stores. I did have to wait a week for the Ram to be shipped in but it was well worth it. The wipe and reinstall went well and he also showed me some free programs I could download off the internet to keep my computer in better shape. Now my computer runs like it is brand new! If you live in this area and need your computer worked on I highly recommend Poboy's. He was friendly, helpful and the prices were much more than fair.
