+ -1 moreThey are good about showing up when they say they will. A couple of times we've had a air conditioner or heater go out in the middle of the night and they'll come first thing in the morning. They are prompt and reliable. They are reasonable and comparable to the rest of the market. We have a long term contract with them.

+ -1 moreMr. Jeff Hill on day of the installation came by and ensured the crew knew exactly what needed to be done to ensure complete customer satisfaction. The crew was able to install a new attic exhaust fan, remove and replace faulty air conditioning system with a new heat pump. Rework the basement ductwork to accomodate a new filtration system and the new evaportator box. The not only required an exhaust fan installation but a new airflow diverter box and all new leads serving the upstairs airflow supply registers. They also insulated our attic access panel with styrofoam to ensure that we would keep the hot air where it belonged. Our system before and afterwards was a complete 180. We couldn't have been any more impresed with the entire experience. If you're looking for a shotty installation and poor service look elsewhere. This company is a GOLD standard of professionalism and experience. Thanks again for a wonderful job!
Description of Work: They replaced our faulty central air conditioner and our faulty ductwork that was improperly installed during home build. Mr. Jeff Hill was incredible and went above and beyond the call of duty from day one. Absolutely amazing standards. He sat down with my wife and I listened to our concerns and gave us numerous options. We couldn't have any more impressed. He came by and instructed the installers to ensure all went well. After installation was completed he came back out not once but two times to ensure our complete satisfaction. We had an upstairs area that desperately needed more airflow. In years past this room on a hot summer day would have reached upwards of 100 degrees. After installing a complete new heat pump, new high efficiency air filtration, and a new airflow box and new insulated airflow lines in our attic this room was 72 degrees and extremely comfortable. Our energy bills even during the summer months went down about a third over year over year records. We would definitely recommend this organization to anyone needing any heating or air conditioning work done. We owe them a big THANKS! Shame we are moving to Florida to not really reap the rewards of the heat pump during the fall and winter months. But guess what...some one else will be really happy!

+ -1 moreI interviewed 5 companies for the job and Mr. hill examined my home and gathered far more information than anyone else. I felt he was honest and that my home would have been in the best hands. I didn't choose KLM ONLY because of the cost. I plan to be in my present home for 5 more years so I can do without the very best for now. I do plan to use KLM in the future for my final home.
Description of Work: Mr. Hill from KLM came to my home 6/4/2012 to give me an estimate for replacing my ancient heating & air system. He was top notch. He was professional, pleasant and left no stone unturned.

+ -1 moreThey are friendly, professional, punctual, and concise. They do everything they are supposed to do. In the past they replaced my A/C with a heat pump. The installers were very thorough, tested all the new equipment to make sure everything worked just right. They clean up after the work is complete, and trained me on the new thermostat. Several of my friends use this company because they are very honest.

Description of Work: Sewers were blocked. KLM came out and tried to snake out the clog, but were unable to get it cleared. They and to call another crew to dig up the front of out yard to find the cause of the blockage. It turned out to be the discharge line had shifted and broke requiring them to replace a section of the discharge line.

One of them came out and did a on-site examination and he was also courteous and accommodating as far as scheduling was concerned. They gave me different recommendations as far as various options and gave me the pros and cons of each. I will this provider in the future.

+ -1 moreThey also came out in the fall season. They did winter check a week before the winter. We spent $120 for the two visits for that particular service. They seemed to know as to what they were doing. They gave us some helpful information. We did not price the others but their price was probably about average. They were a little bit late than what they had said. They were an hour or so behind the initial estimate but they told us when they would come when we called them. It would have been a very inconvenient if we had not been home. We would probably use them again in the future.

+ -1 moreThey charged me an additional $7,000, which I refused to pay until they gave me a breakdown of parts and labor. If you added the value of the units up, to replace them all would be around $2,000. Two of the units were replaced free under warranty. They charged me by the hour over a three month timespan. I refused to pay them the additional $7000, on top of the $5000 I already paid until they gave me an itemized breakdown of labor and materials. They never responded, and 60 days later I got a letter from their attorney stating they had put a mechanics lean on my residence. I tried to contact the company's attorney--who never returned my inquiry. I also tried to contact the president of the company, and he too never contacted me to resolve the issue.
Description of Work: They were here to fix and service some errant heating and air conditioning zone units.

+ -1 moreThey were excellent. I called and scheduled. The guy came out the next day. He didn't have parts on hand and had to go back to the shop to get them. It was a specialty part because I have an older furnace. He came back, he installed it, and everything worked. I don't remember his name, but he was very professional. I had already taken it apart when he came in. He looked at it and agreed with me on what was wrong with it. He was back an hour or so later from the shop, installed it, and checked everything out. It worked great. The price was reasonable compared to anybody else. I called four other places and they were all the same price.
Description of Work: KLM Mechanical Service replaced the blower motor in my furnace.

+ -1 moreI told the salesman what system I wanted (just efficient enough to qualify for the $1500 tax credit), and unlike others, he did not try to push me into a higher priced model. He promised me that his crew would be here between 8 and 8:30 and that it would be a full day job. They arrived promptly at 8:15. The 2-man crew did a fantastic job, working until almost 9 PM to get the entire job completed, plus even answer a couple of my questions afterwards. Their work was very professional, they cleaned up the whole area when the job was done, and the system works well. We are very pleased.
Description of Work: Since our old central air unit died and our gas furnace was over 20 yrs old, we purchased a new Bryant heat pump and gas furnace (dual fuel option) from KLM.

+ -1 moreI think that they did an excellent job and I am quite pleased. Everything went very well with the service and I have no complaints at this time. They showed up as scheduled and they did their work accordingly. Nothing could have been better. It was quite a while ago and I do not remember what I paid for it. However, I do feel that it was worth it from what I can remember.
Description of Work: KLM installed three whole new 4 ton heating systems in one of my homes. It was about 10,000 square foot of space. They also disposed of the old units as well.
