Excellent housecleaner. We had just moved into our new house and needed it cleaned up a bit after our contractor was finished working and from the previous owner's lack of having detail cleaned it. Gena took exactly as much time as she quoted, charged exactly what she said she would, and the job was done professionally and very well. I will be hiring Gena again.

Simply clean has been cleaning my home for over a year, I have been throughly pleased with their service. Both Jackie and Gena are extremely professional, thorough and overall do an outstanding job cleaning my home. I have since moved and am fortunate that we can continue our relationship.

They are the best! Great attention to detail. We've tried several housekeepers in the past, but none come close to the overall value we feel we get from Simply Clean. Consuelo typically does the cleaning and she is great. They also do a great job of working around our schedule when we have a sick kid or something unexpected comes up. We would highly, highly, highly recommend Gina, Consuelo, and Simply Clean!

After using three other "top rated" companies on Angie's list, I have finally found a company that is professional, punctual, courteous and excellent when it comes to cleaning and detail. Gena gives a fair estimate which is of course based on time and the size of the house, she does the initial cleaning herself so that she knows the house and she is very fair on pricing. I was thrilled when she said that (of course) they dust blinds and wood work during regular cleanings. This was after being told by two other companies that this is only something they do during a "deep clean". I can honestly say that I did not find anything that was not cleaned to perfection (and I'm a little OCD about it). I am SO happy to FINALLY have found Simply Clean.

The owner came to my house and gave me a price estimate for cleaning my house the first time ($120) and then a rate for a bi-weekly service. When they came to clean, she came herself with another lady and they did a great job. No complaints about the quality of their work. I thought at the time it was the best cleaning I'd ever gotten at that house, and I've been through several services. She quoted me $120. Then when she left, she didn't want me to give her a check, which was a bit odd. Later I got an invoice for $30 more than we'd agreed on. She said t was because it took longer. Which would have been fine if she'd asked me, "Hey, do you want to pay an extra $30 for me to stay another hour?" or if she had quoted the job as an hourly rate in the first place. I wouldn't have quibbled. But she quoted it as a single job for a single price, and didn't ask my permission about going over that price, just sent me an invoice later. That felt sneaky, and left a bad impression. I did not pay the extra $30. I sent a check for the agreed on $120 and she agreed to that with only a little grump. My big problem came because I had agreed to a regular service, and the only time slot she said she could give me was at 8 a.m. on a particular week day. I have a new baby (1 month old at the time), and getting myself and the baby and the house ready at 8 am was quite an achievement, only to have them call at 7:50 and tell me they weren't coming. They did that TWICE. The second time I declined to re-schedule, and I have not used their service since.

She came to our home for a walk through and gave us an estimate. I hired her for a single service. She cleaned our home after we moved out. She did an excellent job, was very friendly and professional, and I was impressed that she was able to squeeze our last notice request in at an early morning hour to accommodate us. I would definitely hire her again if we still lived in town.

You won't be disappointed if you call Gena at Simply Clean. She's been cleaning our 3 bedroom 3 bath home with finished basement for several months and we could not be happier. She's prompt, efficient and extremely careful of items that are valuable. She's also the only house cleaner I've hired that actually cleans the house as fanatically as I do. Additionally she is open to using cleaning supplies of my choice that I prefer and puts up with our 5 cats that virtually stalk her while she's here. She is busy from the time she arrives till the time she leaves and when she's finished the house is absolutely spotless. She's also been very accommodating when I need to schedule different dates due to house guests which makes my life so much easier. I've already told her she simply can't move or leave the area because we can't live without her services. It's my hope we can use her services for a long time to come.

Owner very professional and quick turn around time on cleaning. Price great. Only issue was the actual finished product of the cleaning person sent. Not impressed and underwhelmed and the point is the cleaning so I would have to say overall a C.

Gena did a superb job; on time, friendly, and professional. We are already scheduled for the next cleaning. I highly recommend. My wife and I could not be more pleased.

Had trouble getting in touch initially. I had a typo in my cell number and then she had a typo in hers. When we did eventually speak, we agreed to meet to get a better estimate for costs. We planned a date to meet, but she called back a day later and cancelled. She indicated her staffing had changed and she can no longer take on any additional business.

Gina and her staff do a great job. I would recommend here to anyone in the Shelbyville area. They arrive when scheduled and calls whenever there is any kind of issue. Her price is very reasonable for the work done.

We have finally found a great house cleaner! We have been using Simply Clean for about 3 months for bi-weekly cleaning and have been extremely happy with the results each time. Other cleaners we have tried charged more and cleaned less. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I have had my house cleaned by individuals for about 6 years now and have never been satisfied - until now. For the first time since owning a home, I have found someone who has the same cleaning philosophy as I do. Gena and her staff do a wonderful job and I am so thankful I joined Angie's List so that I could find her. My mother cleaned other people's homes for years and knows what a clean house should look like. When I made the comment to her that my new house cleaner was arriving the next day (I am on a 2 week rotation), she remarked that she thought the house had just been cleaned! I am very pleased and hope to have a long relationship with Simply Clean.

Gena came over on Monday to give me an estimate of 1) a thorough initial cleaning and 2) set up a schedule for future cleanings and discussed prices. Her rate is $30 an hour. Tuesday, Gena and an assistant spent about 4+ hours at my house for the initial, detailed cleaning. Most impressive, Gena showed up with a ladder and LOTS of cleaning supplies. My house looked awesome when they were done and my house smelled fresh. I don't know what cleaning supplies she used but I plan to ask her and buy what she is using because my house smelled fresh without the stench of harsh chemicals. She was focused, detailed and thorough. Excellent work and obviously she takes pride in doing a great job. I wish my house looked this good every day. And, I have already referred her to a friend.

Simply Clean has been cleaning our home for about 9 months and we intend to keep using them. Gena is friendly, courteous and very professional.

Our experience with Simply Clean was wonderful. It was a family team that came in and exceeded our expectations. Our home looked and smelled amazing, which is impressive since we have numerous inside pets. We have used other house cleaning services and have been disappointed in the past. Simply Clean should be renamed Positively Clean!!
