Description of Work: Needed a tree cut down and board out, needed the whole filled with dirt and leveled out, had another tree cut down in the spring because it was dead. Bought a tree that was supposed to be planted, another spot where more dirt was needed and mulched. Two men came to my home ( Mike Ward) and (Steve Cook). Mike Ward was very rude and was screaming, the verbal abuse went from bad to worse, he didn't want to listen to anything I had to say. Proceeded to go forward and tear my yard up, explained that where I wanted to place the tree and he proceeded to place the tree where it wasn't supposed to go in the first place.

Very bad. If he is on your list I will give him a minus zero review. He is bad at contacting you, the work was terrible, they just Mickey Moused the whole job. He said there was no reason to replant the Azalea bushes, I'll haul them away for you, they will just die. Well, guess what, my farm help planted them and they came, nothing happened to them, they are magnificent so he is probably going to sell them to somebody else. The other thing was, it was my understanding that they were going to come out and prepare the flower beds before they mulched them and all they did was week whack the weeds to the ground so now I have all this new mulch with all the weeds I had before I started. First of all, he doesn't return calls. It took me forever to get a hold of him. I called and left 2 messages and then I actually got a hold of him and I said who I was and it was like, yeah. He acts like he doesn't care. His price was not cheap, maybe around the middle of the road.
Description of Work: That was a big mistake, I went with Michael's Landscaping. Not Mike's, Michaels. They came out about 3 weeks ago. They put in new rocks with plants along the whole front of the house and mulched it and took out 6 Azaleas bushes.

Mike is very punctual and his crew works hard to get the job done on time. He will work within your budget, but you need to be specific in describing your expectations. When he is allowed to freelance your ideas, he has limitations. I've used him on numerous jobs. He has planted many trees and bushes for me, does mulching and has done some topsoil work, all of which he did very well. However, I'm not sure paver design and installation is his sweet spot. Stick to using him for soft landscaping and mulching work and you can't beat him.
Description of Work: Installed paver walkway down embankment and around to rear of home; planted live landscaping along the route
