Rick did not work on our model, recommended a colleague in Lexington who performed the repair. I would recommend the colleague and give him an A rating.

Rick came on a Saturday within 4 hours of calling him to replace a bad compressor. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable (He's been doing it 40 years!) and the price was very fair. It also included a 1 year warranty. I would recommend him to anyone needing an appliance repair. We need more Rick Greene's in the world.

I selected this company from Angie's List based on other reviews. I had another large appliance repairman whom I had used in the past with success, but I was not 100% comfortable with that person. I called the original repairman first but got their voicemail, so I was happy to move on and select someone new. Rick Greene's phone was answered by a human, a very nice lady who said Logan could be here the next afternoon. I asked their bench charge which turned out to be $39.00, very reasonable and lower than I had paid my former repairman. Logan came within the timeslot given to me and called before he headed my way as promised. I was curious to know what went wrong, so I remained in the basement with him while he went about diagnosing the problem. We chatted some and he was extremely personable, but did not stop working while we chatted. He found the issue which was the same part that the former repairman had fixed before. It was the capacitor that the other repairman had replaced which had come loose and needed to be replaced again. Whether the first repairman didn't get it attached quite right or it was just a coincidence is an unknown factor. Logan replaced it with a factory replacement part. Total time here was about 40 minutes. Since I watched him work, having to remove half a tub of water left in the tub when agitator quit, disassemble the washer, diagnose the problem, fix it, and put everything back together, I was pleasantly surprised at the final total of $99.00.

This was an awesome and smooth repair appointment!! When I called to make the appointment, the office manager offered a time slot right away and had we not been going out of town, I would have taken it. She was more than willing to work with our schedule. Rick Greene came out and fixed it himself, he called before he drove out, and verified that the compressor was out before starting. He was extremely professional and easy going! Very nice company to work with, I couldn't be happier! I would highly, highly recommend this company, you will NOT be disappointed!!

Our dishwasher wasn't pumping water and the top rack was broken. I first made arrangements by calling the KitchenAid number since it was only two years old. They set me up with a company that would have charged $95 for the call, plus they tried to sell me this thing where I paid $250 flat rate regardless of what was wrong. Seemed bogus, so I didn't bite. So I decided to check Angie's List and found this company. First off, their house call is only $39 if you don't have anything fixed-- and we live off the beaten path outside of Wilmore toward High Bridge. They showed up first thing in the promised time window. And then told us the rack was under warranty for both parts and labor, so it didn't cost us anything!! The guy was super nice and friendly too! A++++ I will use this company for all my appliance repair needs in the future.

He's very professional, and good at repairing all kinds of household appliances. He's in and out pretty quick, and seems to know what he's doing. He's not inexpensive, but he does good work and fixes it the first time. He has a clean appearance, nice new truck, and is very responsive, he gets out here pretty quick when you call him.

Late arrival but very friendly, efficient, and office made compensation for arrival time.

Rick was punctual, to the point, explained what the problem could be. I felt he was trustworthy, especially after what the problem turned out to be. I had called customer service to diagnose an E-24, which was a failure to drain. They walked me through several procedures, but the next day the problem occurred again. Another company came out, fiddled with the dishwasher, didn't seem to understand what the code was, punched a few buttons, tried to reset the cycles, and told me the computer board was fried, or that at the least the timer was bad, and it was his recommendation that the dishwasher be replaced (the dishwasher is under warranty). I didn't think too highly of this guy and his helper, so I just let them leave and figured I'd call and get a second opinion. An hour later. Rick arrived; I didn't know my husband had called him! Rick immediately understood the code and explained what caused it, pulled the cap off the air gap, and pulled a sliver of an almond out of the tiny space the drain water has to pass through! We've now run 5 loads in the diishwasher with no problems. He said it was not a common problem, but occurred often enough to be familiar. I will always call Rick for all my appliance work now!

He removed front panel and checked everything. Logan said the transmission was going and it had taken chunks out of the belt. I also had a bad bearing in another section. He advised me to buy a new washer instead of repairing a 14 plus yr. old washer due to cost of repair.

I needed a felt pad for a 10 year old Maytag dryer, which is no longer manufactured. After researching a similar part from Whirlpool was adapted to repair my dryer. Repairman was honest in his assessment and quick to find a solution to an aging part.

I made an appointment for service for ice maker repair. Service had been made on the unit 2-3 times in the previous 2-3 years. Their office advised me that a part had to be ordered. Never heard from them again.

I'm vague on the details as it has been awhile -- cost estimate may be off. But this guy has been prompt and professional and will work on BOSCH dishwashers. not everyone will.

I called Rick's Appliance Service on Friday morning. Logan came out that very evening and informed us that he would have to order the part. He was back on Tuesday with the new part and to complete the repair....very nice....very respectful. I definitely will call again when I need an appliance repaired!

I called Rick Greene's with an accumulated list of "petty" complaints about appliances. Logan came out the next day, at the appointed time, and looked seriously at each one. Since some of my requests were not typical, he had to go back and research them. He stuck with it, and kept me posted on his progress. He didn't come back until he had all of the parts so that he could complete the entire job. As none of the complaints was urgent, I appreciated his consideration of my schedule, not bombarding me with multiple visits. Very nice, and he knew his stuff.

Excellent service and professionalism. There was one problem that came up after the installation but they fixed the issue and I am very satisfied. I would recommend and use them again.

We left a message with Mr. Greene on Saturday Evening explaining our problem we were having with our ice maker. We also left him information on what brand model and etc. on fridge. He arrived promptly on Monday Morning found problem within few minutes and repaired. Entire repair only took 30 min. or so if that long. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Will definitely call him again with next problem with appliances. One more thing I really appreciated is the way he cleaned floor under fridge before sliding it back:). Update: Called Rick in April 2013 because we were having problem with ice maker again. Rick came that same evening. Checked ice maker & found problem immediately. It wasn't a problem with the ice maker he had installed in the fall of 2012'. It was a frozen line running to ice maker. Once again he arrived promptly when he said he would, found the problem immediately & repaired it in a matter of minutes. My husband & I are thrilled with the excellent service that Rick has provided to us and would highly recommend him. He is very professional, courteous and knowledgeable.

Came the next day. Very polite and friendly. He cleaned up all the water and left everything in great shape.
