Description of Work: They cut down a huge maple tree that was close to our home.

Description of Work: Frank Murphy and his assistant Joe removed a huge Oak tree. I had them remove two trees last year and was happy I kept tgeir business card.

Description of Work: He was supposed to trim 3 trees, he trimmed 2 trees very good, came back 2nd day to trim third tree and he trimmed a little bit off top, didn't trim it like he did other two, he demanded cash to pay employees before the job was complete the first day, after he got cash, he left and came back 2nd day and trim last tree, but didn't trim right, but he had already been paid for services, we immediately called him back and told him the third tree was not trimmed any where close to the way the other were trimmed, and he promised us the tree would be rounded out and beautiful and wouldn't have to be trimmed for another 10 years, but when spring came around that third tree looked worse than it did before he trimmed it. Its limbs are dragging on the ground as we speak I called again in the spring to have him come out and look at tree, he said he would come, but never showed, he also said he couldn't trim tree twice without getting paid twice. Initially we did argue about paying in cash and paying before job was completed, but he kept saying it would be ok because he was #1 on Angie's list. I am very dissatisfied with his work, My son also reached out twice leaving messages to call us, but he didn't return our call. I will have to have someone else do this third tree again and have to pay again. I just think Angie's List customers need to be warned about this business. I am a widow, 68 years old and legally blind and he new that, My son and daughter can vouch for the way the tree looks, we can send picture if needed.

Description of Work: They removed five large trees that had been killed by an insect. Murphy had a team of three, they dropped the trees, chopped them up and left not a trace of any debris. Hardworking, professional, quick. All contractor experiences should be this good. I highly recommend them.
