Sloppy workmanship

Their service was wonderful. It was absolutely excellent. They were very prompt and on time. They got it done quickly and I have nothing negative at all with them. Their prices were great; I wouldn’t have used them, if it hadn’t been. I will absolutely use them again in the future if I need to.

The work took a while to complete because is was necessary to coordinate the work that Denny did with the work of the Roofing Contractor, Hendricks Roofing (reviewed previously).Some siding work was done and then the roofing was done and then the gutters and downspouts were done. I found the crews that worked to do quality work and they left the area reasonably clean both during the work and after completion. David Denny come by after the work was complete to do a walk-around to be sure that everything was done satisfactorily and corrected a few minor items that we noted. The work was reasonably priced and it was done for the estimated price even though there were a few extra items that were added during the process. I would definitely use Denny again but it is sometimes necessary to make several calls to get the estimates completed. I was flexible with the timing and the work was done well.

We contacted this vendor, he provided an estimate but we never consumated the deal. I will not hesitate contacting him to discuss future work.

Denny Siding (David Denny) was recommended to us by a friend and he (Denny) also put a roof on our neighbor's house. I called him for an estimate and he came out a few days later to measure (3800 sq ft) and ask me some questions. We talked about overlay vs. replacement, different shingle types, colors, warranty, etc. He gave me a lot of good information. We (my husband and I) discussed the different options and decided to overlay because we only had one layer of shingles currently on the roof. The decision to overlay saved us about $3000.00. We called back to schedule the work, which of course depended on weather conditions. It rained for about four days then after a few more dry days the crew showed up early one morning and knocked it out by the end of the day. During the process the crew discovered that the flashing on the chimney was disentigrated all the way around and that water was leaking down into the fireplace (which we already knew but forgot to mention). David called to let me know that he was (personally) going out to the house to replace the flashing. They came back the next day and walked the roof to pick up trash, nails, etc. & cleaned up the mess. Overall we are very pleased with the roof and have had no problems. We've had plenty of rain in the last few weeks since the new roof was put on and NO leaking in the fireplace or anywhere else. I would definitely recommend them for any roof repair or replacement. Good work, good prices, and David is a super nice person.

Home has 40+ year old windows. Wanted to replace with Energy Star windows that would qualify for tax credit. A builder friend recommended Denny. He responded promptly and gave an accurate estimate. His crew arrived on schedule. Most of his crew have worked together for many years and they moved like a well-oiled machine. They attended to detail and were very careful to work cleanly and carefully. Work was completed in one day. Guttering was done on a separated work order. That was also done professionally by a different crew. There were some minor issues with the windows as they came from the manufacturer. Denny is also a service tech for that window company, ViWinTech, so he quickly resolved those issues. Denny knows that his business is all word-of-mouth and he is very conscientious. His crews are reliable, professional and respectful.
