perfect. guys were prompt, friendly, cleaned up after themselves. Very hard workers, explained to me what they were doing and worked one of the hottest weeks of the year in my attic so i could finally feel my air conditioning for the first time in over a year. Sleeping has been much more enjoyable since they installed better insulation, cant wait to see the difference in my first LGE bill. Would 100 percent recommend Mike and his crew for any attic repair work you need.

If you are looking to add insulation to your attic, I highly recommend Attic Experts. They are a local family owned small business with excellent customer support, fair prices, and they do quality work. I only had 2-3 inches of insulation in my attic and they added 22 inches plus sealed all areas around my can lights and added baffles along the entire home to protect the soffit vents. Shawn and Ryan are great guys. They showed up to give me an estimate within two days and did the job two days later. They also added a smart programmable thermostat for me that can be accessed via your phone or by normal standard means. All in all, an awesome job. They also have a $200 off coupon in their listing on Angie’s List. With their coupon, they are priced as well or better than the other two estimates I got. One other company I called (31 W insulation) never called me back.

I met them at the home show and had them come out and give me a quote. We signed a contract that day to have my old insulation removed and new insulation installed. They worked with me to remove the insulation and wait until I had some aluminum wire replaced and then reinstalled new insulation. The owner and crew worked with me throughout the whole process and performed their functions professorially.

First of all Mike came to my house a year ago during the hot summer of 2015. Without using his heat gun he didn't even pass the front door, raised his hand, and said this is where your loosing heat! He gave me a quote last year that he told me to keep. Now what I did was a little research myself behind his back without him not knowing. I went back and forth with myself if I should get spray foam insulation for a whole year. If it's done right, "by Mike" blow it in!!!! I hear some people can tell the difference in a couple of days, I have a small 2 bedroom house and I can tell before 11:00am when my house starts to get hot. I went from setting my thermostat to 79 degrees so it won't run all day while depending on ceiling fans in the house to a cool 72. Might flirt with 68! Mike knows what he's doing like he knows his Minnisota Vikings. Thanks again Mike!

We met Mike from Attic Experts at the Homeshow, and kept his info until we were ready to see what it would cost. He came out and did checked out our existing insulation. It was awful, some places only an inch or two. He took lots of pictures of lots of angles so he could show us what he was talking about, and then went through what exactly we needed at our home. We have a large vaulted ceiling in our living space, and it borders the garage - so he wanted to do a radiant barrier there as well as reinsulate the remainder of the house. We went with R60 because after being so hot so long, we really wanted to feel a miracle. Even before our installation date, Mike came by to install our new Nest Thermostat because he knew we were going out of town, and our ability to turn off the air conditioner for the duration of our trip and turn it back on when we were headed back would be AWESOME. And it was! Installation day arrived, and the crew were very friendly and professional, again taking pictures to show us that everything was covered and at what level. The best part was that we could feel a difference the very first day. Now right now, the hottest part of the year, our main living space gets hot in the late afternoon, but basically nothing can completely combat that. But it is soooooo much better than it was. And for the first time ever, our bedroom is comfortable all day long. We recommend The Attic Experts without reservation. There are others out there, but if you let Mike come out and meet with you, my guess is that you will go with him. He is genuine in a sea of salesmen, and he is completely transparent in his work. And did I mention that he called after the installation, a couple days later, and a couple weeks later - just to see how the insulation was working? It feels good to support a local business, and we were incredibly happy with our choice, the value of the product for the price, and the customer service.

We met Mike at the Louisville Home Show and later scheduled an appointment. He was prompt and very thorough with the estimate. He took pictures of the current insulation and walked us through the different options, cost, and return on investment. We talked to some other companies but felt very comfortable with the cost and level of professionalism that Mike showed so we scheduled the job. His guys showed up on time and completed all the work in a timely manner. They took before and after pictures to show that the work was completed in every area of the attic and then cleaned up the job site when finished. The results of the increased insulation were immediately apparent. We had about 4" of insulation before and we have about 13" now. The house is much more comfortable on cold days and we have used less gas on our last 2 LG&E bills. We should see a payback in about 2 years time. Over the last year I've had to have a lot of interactions with different contractors in my area. And to be very honest it was completely unenjoyable and a stressful time. after having several of them perform work that was sub-par and now being in process of trying to have most of the work redone, I turned to Angie's list. Although I'd heard of Angie's list in the past, I thought living in the smaller area it wouldn't do me any good. I was completely wrong!! Some additional work that needed to be done on the house was insulation of the attic. I found these guys on Angie's list and immediately they return my email and schedule an appointment. When they came out they were the most courteous and friendly of any of the services I've dealt with over the last year and a half. I will absolutely recommend them to my friends and family, and would strongly recommend anyone looking to have any type of insulation work done, give them a call! You will absolutely be blown away by the by the Quality and professionalism of their work! It is so wonderful to finally find a company that treats you the way you want to be treated. Not like you are just number, not like your job is really inconvenient or too small.. Like you truly matter to them! And I truly believe you will not find a better company to do this work for you!

I was very pleased overall with the professionalism of Attic Experts, i.e. promptly returning my calls, showing up on time, and understanding my needs as a homeowner. In the end I did not use Attic Experts, but I also did not use anyone else. At this time I felt that I would not have additional insulation blown in to my crawlspace simply b/c my wife and I decided to make renovations to our 2nd floor which would include changes to our roof line and it just simply didn't make sense at this time to have the insulation put in. However, we will choose Attic Experts when the time comes!

We were a little reluctant to deal with them because they are relatively new, but we are glad that we did. The price was right for the amount of work that they did for us and they left the house cleaner than it was before they started the job. The man who owns the company knows how important it is to make the customer #1. If you are in the market for insulating you home, don't look any farther, they do good work!

The team was very prompt. Mr Jacobs (the owner) came with his crew and over saw all work, assisted when needed, and he remained on site. Our home is large and since it was built in the 1970's the insulation we had was cellulose rated to R16 so they had a long 10-12 hour day. His team was professional in attire and polite, their neatness went above and beyond the majority of contractors whom I have worked with. As an example, there was a possibility one of his vehicles leaked fluid so in order to protect our asphalt and also as a protection for our dog they had laid a mat under the engine to catch the drips. This is a small young company who is building a strong reputation for quality work. The quote was reasonable while working to give us the best possible deal he could. There were no extra charges nor did he waiver from the OWEN-CORNING company's ethics and job performance. As crowning jewels with working with ATTIC EXPERTS was their policy of before and after photos, plus the use of markers showing the height of the insulation and the protection they added around our canister lights and additional moisture vents to protect our investment in the insulation. My one regret is not having the possibility of working with them again, but I will proudly refer any of my neighbors and friends with confidence their experience with ATTIC EXPERTS will be as wonderful as mine.

The crew showed up on time. They were very professional. There was no mess. I couldn't even tell they were in my house. They also took detailed before and after pictures. They showed me exactly what they were going to do in my attic. The work was performed to the utmost professional installation.
