Terry came out on time and did a great job. We paid additional money for him to paint the trim & doors in the room. It looks great. Very happy with the result.

They are always on time, work hard and clean up really well when done. I really appreciate that Chuck has been able to get work done when I am in a time pinch and his employees are so trustworthy and very nice and work well. Thanks again. You guys make my life so much easier.

Chuck came to our house and gave us an estimate based on the work we requested. We scheduled the date and time and his employees showed up promptly. They were courteous and got right to work. They finished the job quickly and offered to move furniture back. The work was well done.

I had a great experience, I had 2 gentlemen who were very professional and on time. I purchased the $99.00 sq ft but was in great need to have more rooms painted. I'm so glad I did, I feel like I'm in a new home. Mr. Rader was the best. He gave me a quote on the work I was asking to have done, and his crew did everything that was promised and was finished within 8 hours. I would certainly use this company again and highly recommend them to everyone.

The contractor arrived right on time and immediately went to work. He painted my bathroom walls - it took approx. 2 hours. I supplied the paint (Benjamin Moore Aura) for the walls. The contractor was very neat with both the work and with the clean up. The paint job is lovely. The contractor, without being asked, also painted the woodwork using his own paint at no charge because he felt it needed to be painted.

The whole experience from first phone call to finish was very smooth. Chuck even called to ask how I like the work.

I contacted Chuck after buying Angie's big deal, $99 for walls up to 300 feet. He came out to give me an estimate after I told him I also wanted cabinets painted. He was very quick to respond to both phone calls and the estimate. He gave me the estimate on the spot, which I really appreciated. I ended up throwing in two more rooms to get an estimate from him. The price was reasonable, not cheap, not expensive - mid-priced compared with other estimates I have received. Work was scheduled for the very next day. Chuck was confident with his team being left alone as I did not want to schedule two days off of work to have the painting performed. His team, two guys, came out the next day and painted, finishing the next day. They were both very courteous and professional and answered my questions when I asked. They took down curtains and moved furniture out of the way, covering it with plastic. The only issues I had was having to ask for plate covers to be removed instead of painted around, my curtains not being re-hung, and a small amount of residual paint on the floor in the kitchen and on my bedroom furniture. My bedroom is very small, so it's understandable. I told Chuck about these things and he offered to send his guys back out to correct, but I declined as it wasn't a huge problem. Overall, I will give this provider an A rating as a very professional, quick to respond, and polite company, which means a lot in my book. I would definitely use again if I need more painting.

I was very pleased with the work! One painter came to do the job. He was very professional, quick, thorough, & tidy!

They did an excellent and professional job. They were supposed to start on Wed. but called Monday and said they could start Tues. if I wanted as they finished a job early. That was fine with me. They were early or on time both days. They cleaned up each day before they left at 4:30. They had it all done in 2 days. You would never even know they were in my house. They cleaned everything up at the end of job. They ate lunch in their truck outside and everytime I checked on the job, they were working. Chuck's son Chris came by on the first day of job to get everything lined up. Both the painters are very nice guys and work hard. I have dealt with so many painters that are not very professional and waste more time then they do working. Not these guys. They come in get it done and out of there like it should be. I have an estimate to have my kitchen and sunroom done by them and will be setting that up very soon. Thanks so much for the great work.

I was initially contacted by Chuck Rader after informing him of the need for repair work. We discussed the work to be completed, and Chuck visited our home to see what needed to be done and to figure an estimate for the work. I received a contract for the work, signed it, and return it in the mail. The work was completed in a timely manner and the cost was realistic.

Their work is excellent. His employee Bill does outstanding work. Bill is very professional and friendly. I was very impressed. I plan on using them in the future for other jobs.

Chuck Rader and his associates did an AWESOME job with the variety of projects I needed to have accomplished at the time.The turnaround time on scheduling/ receiving an estimate for work was good. This project was scheduled well in advance and there was not a delay in the project start. Chuck was very detailed in his explanations and willing to answer questions as they came up. He kept me well-informed as the projects proceeded. The work was finished in a timely manner. The quality of the work was so good that it has me inspired to continue with additional renovations in the back area of the house. Chuck & team helped me reclaim an outdoor "room" that I'm now using on a daily basis. Thank you!

We used his service to paint the inside of our house, except for our kitchen. They did outstanding, we are very pleased. He had his crew out here for three days. We are very happy with the work they performed. They showed up on time every day, we didn’t have to worry about anything. They are the best. We plan on using them in the future.

He is very friendly and patient. My wife and I couldn't decide on the colors and he had no problem coming back out when we were ready. He was very informative and explained everything he was going to do for us.

They were very prompt at coming out when I first called them in April. Their estimate was reasonable for the work that they provided. They did a great job painting my deck. Due to all the rain they ran behind and it was a little frustrating because they would not answer the phones during this time. They ended up coming out a couple months later. They did all three coats in one day even though it was supposed to take three days. However they were very professional while doing the job.

From start to finish Chuck Rader made the color selection and design an easy project.

I used Chuck Radar and his crews to paint the exterior of our home last fall. They did a great job. When I decided to get the inside painted, I called them back because I knew I could count on a professional crew, with courteous and prompt service and response. Chuck, the owner is the greatest. He is never too busy to take phone calls to discuss any issues. I had a difficult time deciding on the color for the living and dining rooms. It took three different colors before I was satisfied, but Chuck and his crew never complained. They took the paint back and brought as many samples as I needed until I was sure of the right color. They were so patient and understanding. So unusual to find folks like this now days, but so refreshing to find that there are great folks out there! After the work was finished, our home looks great!! The kitchen looks like a new room, and the whole house is fresh and cheerful. I would not hesitate for a minute to call Chuck for any painting we may need. They are great!

They did a fantastic job from start to finish. Calls were returned promptly and the crew started promptly. They were very professional and did a great job. Chuck Rader also followed up to make sure things were going as expected. The job was finished early and the garage looks like new. They also cleaned up before they left.

They were always prompt and courteous. Their overall work was very good. We called them after the work was completed when we saw a few minor things not done, and they came back and corrected any/all issues. We were very pleased!

Excellent! Based on occasional info postcards, Chuck Rader's name came to mind when I needed long-neglected work on my deck. I checked his rating in Angie's List to find very good reviews. Upon my call, Chuck came promptly; we discussed options and expected outcomes, and price estimates. I chose him over other candidates, and was totally pleased with the experience. He followed up the initial visit with prompt answers to my email questions; his workers (and he) showed up at appointed times; they completed the work efficiently, with good quality, and in the expected time frame. Chuck showed up for a review of work completed. They even offered (and I accepted the offer) to come back a few days later to make sure the deck furniture looked right (they had cleaned and painted that with the appropriate paint) and re-place it onsite. On top of it all, they put up with my dogs. All in all, a triple A rating.

We didn't go with them because of the price. Also, a lady didn't give him a very good review. He had done painting for me before, and I had had no problems with him. He has a bad back, so he doesn't do the painting anymore. The price was the main problem.

It's an almost 100-year-old house, so nothing original to the house is square or even, but the work was beautifully done, and quickly done, with no scars, gaps or mismatches. The painting, as always, was perfect. Cleanup was great. Chuck has done painting for us before, but this is the first time we've use him for other work. We plan to use him again when we redo our bathrooms.

We have used Chuck Rader several times over the past few years. Although we think his prices are high, he normally does a good job and is professional. However, our last experience with him was not good. We put down a deposit and had to wait several weeks to get on the schedule. We specifically asked he be done by a certain date several weeks out, and this was well within his time frame. My husband and I are extremely busy and needed a week or so notice to schedule time to be home when his painters arrived. He missed our first scheduled date due to a mix up with him being on vacation and his son dropping the ball with our scheduled date while he was gone. I understand people make mistakes, and this was not the end of the world, but he blamed the mistake on me instead of taking responsibility for it himself. Then he almost missed the re-schedule because he said he did not get our message and did not follow up with us. Secondly, he included 4 hours of touch up time for miscellaneous touch ups we needed inside the home. The four hours was just a random number he came up with, as he did not go around the house and look at what was needed. The estimate stated if we went over those hours, we would pay the additional amount, but if we went under the allotted time, we would get a credit on the remainder we owed. When the painters arrived, I got the impression the one doing the touch ups was new. I was in the home working during the entire job and was able to monitor his progress. After about 2 hours of touch up time, I noticed he seemed about done. I called my husband to see if there was additional work we might want done since we had been allotted 4 hours in the estimate. I never got to ask for the additional work however, because he somehow dragged out the rest of the work to the full 4 hours (the painter knew how many touch ups hours were in the estimate, and I got the impression he was just going to use the amount of time given.) Not only did he drag out the work to the allotted time, but when he was finished, he had done a poor job. The other painter had to redo some of his work. The total amount for the 2 additional hours that he used to drag out the job was worth $90. Not much when you consider the total amount we paid for the entire job. When I told Chuck about the issue, he said I would be billed for the full 4 hours. I mentioned that I was here the entire time and able to monitor the work, but he did not budge. I paid the full amount but will not use his services in the future. I get the impression Chuck is about as busy as he wants to be and is not real concerned about customer service or losing loyal customers. Plus his prices are on the high end. Just something to consider if you go with him for your painting needs.
