Old house being re-roofed, repaired and needing paint at all about the same time. Contacted Chuck Rader at same time as other contractors on Angies list doing the other work. Chuck worked closely with me to not only come up with a painting estimate, but then also provided invaluable guidance on how to coordinate the schedule of the other work being performed. He stayed in constant contact with me to ensure the he would be able to start once the other work was completed. He arrived on schedule, did what was contracted and even a bit more, provided a top-notch, professional paint job, and cleaned up the site afterwards leaving it better than before he arrived. I am planning interior work in the near future and intend to use Chuck Rader for that job. My neighbors have all commented on how outstanding the house now looks.

This was the best and most complete estimate we received from the four painters we contacted. We understood what we could expect to receive from this painter and though, not the lowest estimate, he was the most complete. After pressure washing we discussed the needed repairs. The company owner was creative in finding ways to complete repairs keeping in style with the house and avoiding costly alternatives of replacing all the siding. The owner also made specific recommendations on paint types and arranged for a paint representative to help with color selection. The crew was polite, thorough, and hard working. If I needed them to move a vehicle, they were quick to respond. The foremen on the job were excellent communicators. It is important to note that we dealt with the difficulties of a very wet painting season but the owner always communicated with me when I crew had to stop or not come due to the weather. We ran into difficulties also with the old siding soaking up the paint and the lightness of the color indicated that a second coat would be needed. This was not in the original estimate and the owner worked to minimize our additional cost without compromising the quality or integrity of the job. Our paint job will last a long time so I don't anticipate using them again--but I would if the need arose for that work. They cleaned up each day.

Chuck was prompt and responsive. I told him what I wanted he told me how it would work and made suggestions. For example, I wanted to change from a flat paint to a slightly more glossy look, he told me that it would show more imperfections in the walls. He also came in and color matched everything. It looks really nice.
