+ -1 moreBarkley's Dry Wall Service did an excellent job at straighting out some one else's work. Walls look much better. Can't wait to see them painted. They did a good job of cleaning up. They were all friendly. They started on May 23 and finished on May 25.

Description of Work: He said he would come out to give quote but didn't show or call. The next day he said he would be out and did, but was 3 hours later than said. He walked through house then said he would figure up a quote then left. He pulled over in neighbors yard, which was unprofessional. I never received another call from him, not even a quote.

+ -1 moreOk. So, I wanted to update my earlier review so as to warn others before using this company for your drywall needs. After about 5 or 6 months, all of the seams have cracked open. And I don't mean, minor superficial cracks, I mean large obtrusive cracks. Anyway, I contacted Ronnie Barkley to come back and out and take a look at their work. Much to my amazement, he didn't seem all that shocked and actually told me that he feels comfortable with the job they did. I made him repeat this as I was sure I hadn't heard correctly - nope, that's exactly what he said. Long story short, he told me he'd be happy to write me another quote to go back and redo their job if I wanted. I'm sure anyone reading this can guess what I chose to do. I'll be finding someone else to repair their shoddy work. You've been warned about Barkley's Drywall Service in Paducah, KY. Use them at your own risk. I'll not be using them again and will make sure to tell all of my friends and family to look elsewhere. Wow, unbelievable.
Description of Work: Had my stand-alone garage finished. After a frustrating month (or more) of trying to find someone to come out and finish the drywall I finally found Barkley's number. I called and they were immediately ready to come take a look at what I had. Came out that very night to take a look, provided me with a quote the next day, and were working later that next day. They not only did a professional job, they did it quick! I couldn't be happier and can't recommend them enough. If you're looking for someone to finish your drywall, you can feel confidant in contacting Barkley's to do the work. My building is a 30x32 building and they finished all of it (it had one side 22x30, the other side of the building was broken up into two rooms, a 10x20 room, and a 10x10 room.) They did the work for $1400, which seemed ok to me but a bit on the high side - it might not be to be honest, i really don't know how much the job should have been. If nothing else, you have an idea of what they'll charge you depending on the size of your structure. They took care of everything, the mud, tools, scaffolding, clean-up .. again, A+++ for Barkley's!

+ -1 morePersonally, I thought the prices were too high. The bedroom was very small, 10x10 feet. Then his work in the closet was not very good. I would tell people to avoid them as their quality is second work.
Description of Work: I had him do the drywall for my middle bedroom. Specifically I had him do the ceilings and the closet.
