GRIFFITH CONSTRUCTION

I have an old farmhouse that has been added on to three times since it was originally built in the mid 1800's. Part of owning such a home is sagging floors. I contacted Griffith based on ads in the local paper for floor leveling. Mr. Griffith came out, inspected the house, told me what he would do and gave me the estimate. Mr. Griffith wasn't always able to be there and his crew was comprised of two guys. The job took much longer than anticipated, a couple of days I wasn't sure if anyone would show up. Some days they cut out early. When Mr. Griffith was able to check up on them there was usually a shouting match going on in my basement and work would need to be redone. One night the crew, including Mr. Griffith, was in my home working until nearly midnight to complete the job. In my basement I have a hodge podge of supports sitting on solid concrete blocks but, for the most part, my floors are level. I plan on finishing the basement with a concrete floor so the blocks will be supported and covered and replace or cover the supports to look more professional. All-in-all Mr. Griffith did exactly what he said he would do and I am pleased that the work has held up. Just wish I had a little more confidence in his crew.
