Thanks for visiting my page. I’m Michael R Morin, a 2nd generation general contractor who has over 15 years experience in the construction industry. As a contractor, I use the same values I was taught growing up, by only doing high quality work, paying close attention to detail and treating everyone framed house trusseswith honesty and integrity. I specialize in residential/commercial construction and home renovations. Varying from room additions to Bath and Kitchen remodels to flooring and siding installations and a list of other services. I started my contracting career by contracting projects from my father many years ago. He was the first one that ever gave me an opportunity to supervise a project myself. It was footers and slab prep for a foundation on a spec house, that he was building. I was 16 and he came to me and said that for a set, fair price, I could dig the footers for the foundation. It included getting the dirt right for the slabs and digging the footers. I jumped at the opportunity. He said , looking at me with his glaring eyes, lets talk about details. Here is the budget for the job. You can do it manually, hire two helpers and get it done with lots of hard work and save a little money or rent a tractor and knock it out fast. I said ill do it manually. We shook hands on it. The next morning truck loads of dirt start dumping yards of dirt in the hole that we are building up with fill for the foundation. Only one of the helpers showed up to work, so we jumped into it. Moving endless loads of dirt with a shovel and wheel barrow. After a while we had it taking shape so I had my helper start running the ground tamp . That left only me moving dirt and digging the footers next to the form boards. After a long south Georgia summer day of work it was just starting to resemble a foundation. At dark, my dad showed up asking, “hows it going?” I told him that one of my guys didn’t show up to work and I was behind– and that meant I needed a little more time. He said it wasn’t possible— that the concrete had already been ordered. My only choice was to keep at it . About midnight, my helper wanted to call it quits and the tamp ran out of gas. :( When I called my father and told him I couldn’t get it done. Again, He told me –that wasn’t an option. I had made a deal, we shook hands on it and that meant I had to stick to it. He had taken my word and set up appointments that couldn’t be broken. Any delay from me would delay the whole job. With tears in my eyes, I listened as he explained that I need to go get some gas, get my helper and I a good sandwich and get back to it. “Concrete at 7:00 am”. I loaded up the tamp in the truck, took the gas can and headed to town. After doing that –. We worked through the night and at 6:00am – my father showed up–and to his surprise– we were actually finishing up. Soon the trucks rolled up. I jumped in with the concrete guys and helped pour the footers&slabs. Everything held up and looked great when we were finished. After the job was done, I meet my Father at his truck to collect my check. When he handed it to me — He shook my hand. I could’ve exploded with pride. I had done it, successfully contracted my first job!. And it felt great. It was the first of many and soon I was getting calls from all over. I love creating things in my mind, then bringing them to life with my hands. The look on peoples faces when there dreams have become a reality is such a joy for me. This is not just a job, it’s my passion. So the next time you deserve “More” contact Morin Remodel & Repair.

There are different types of pet fencing available to keep your furry family member safe:
Chain link fencing is an affordable but not visually appealing option.
Vinyl panel fencing is less easily damaged than wood.
Wood fencing is customizable but requires regular maintenance.
Metal iron fencing provides a sleek look but doesn’t block your pet’s view.
Electric fencing eliminates the need for a traditional fence, but it could be painful to your pet.
Picket fencing adds to your curb appeal but won’t contain most pets.
Brick or stone fencing stops pets from digging out of the yard but costs more.
Certain types of pet fences, like wireless invisible and GPS fences, have easy installation steps, making them a perfect DIY option. A wired invisible fence is generally beyond the skill set of most homeowners, as it requires digging a trench to lay the wires needed, plus wiring them to the transmitter.
In addition, traditional fences require not only time to install but also transportation of materials, the correct tools to do the job, and usually, additional labor. Sometimes, a permit is needed to build a fence, depending on your location. For these reasons, it’s best to hire a local dog fence installer to complete this task.
The cost to install an invisible fence is $1,325 on average. This cost ranges from $100 to $1,650, depending on the yard size and type of invisible fencing.
An in-ground invisible fence has a transmitter, receiver, and wires that run underground to set up the yard's perimeter, averaging $1,325 for installation. GPS invisible fences use satellite data to create the home boundary and are more cost-effective than wired options, ranging from $100 to $800. Wireless invisible fences create a barrier that relies on radio signals, costing between $100 and $500, depending on the brand and range.
Determining the best type of fence to contain your pet can be tricky. Consult a pet fence installer and consider the following questions:
What size pet do you have? Some fence types, like chain link, are too short to contain large dogs.
Is digging an issue? Some fences, like brick or stone, help minimize digging at the fence line, where wood fences aren’t as adequate.
Do you need to block your pet’s view of the neighbor's yard? Some fences, like metal iron fencing and chain link, don’t offer an obstructed view.
The cost to install a pet fence ranges from $1,500 to $8,000 on average. This cost is primarily dependent on the type of fence material and the width and height of the fence and your geographical location.
A wood privacy fence that is 150 linear feet can range from $1,000 to $4,500. However, the same length of fence in aluminum will cost closer to $4,500 to $6,000. In addition, some states are simply more expensive than others to build a fence due to increased demand and cost of living.
