They gave us a quote at the time they would be here. They were on time. They showed up to do the work both days at the time they said they would be here. They were very professional. The end price was the quote price. I would use them again tomorrow.

From start to finish, TREC Construction was great to work with. Robby was extremely knowledgable, attentive to detail, and very accommodating. He was easy to reach and worked closely with us, answering questions and offering options and solutions throughout the project. All construction and finish work progressed on schedule. The basement and deck turned out great! We'll definitely use his company again for any future remodeling/construction.

The Trec construction team was amazing! From the minute of their on-time arrival, they went to work. They were very organized and each person made a 110% effort toward the goal of completing the deck in the most efficient and professional way possible. Before leaving every day, they had all trash, debris and lumber scraps picked up and bagged. During this time, the weather was unbearably hot and humid and we heard no complaints from anyone. This is just one terrific, personable, and knowledgeable team of professionals. We will definitely recommend them to others and plan on having them return to our home to help us with several other projects. They are amazing!

We met with Robby for about an hour in our home as he took measurements and talked about what we wanted in terms of deck construction. He sent us a plan with several possible prices for different dimensions, materials, step placement and so on. We asked *many* questions and Robby was very patient, answering all our questions thoroughly and truthfully. Our deck is amazing. It's probably the most solid, well constructed structure in our entire house. It is larger and the new steps provide a wonderful vista to the park behind our house. The crew was extremely courteous, professional and extremely conscientious about telling us when they would be out and cleaning up after themselves each day. Couldn't be happier with Trec Construction!

We found Robby Watts and TREC through Lowe's. We had estimates from five other contractors for our project to demolish the old deck and build an expanded new deck, screened porch and two new mini-roofs. Robby clearly had extensive experience building decks and screened porches. He estimate was in line with the scope of work. TREC's work exceeded our expectations. The crew members were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and hard-working. They cleaned up each day, answered our questions, solved problems we didn't anticipate and built a terrific space. They handled the permitting, inspections, material orders, etc. Robby created the design from our verbal description. The coordination with Lowe's went well. The Lowe's exterior project estimator, Lynn Reynolds, also did a terrific job, as did Mike in the door department at the Lowe's on Winchester Road (Hamburg). We are very pleased and feel confident recommending TREC and Lowe's.

The service was amazing from the first contact with Robby to the completion of the job. Robby was so quick to respond and I can't say enough about what a nice person he is. His professionalism and work ethic shows in his employees. They were so prompt, courteous throughout the entire process and made sure the entire mess was cleaned up before leaving for the day. I work in a separate part of the house but felt totally secure in leaving them to work on their own. They put down plastic before they began work and protected all of the furnishings. The entire experience was great. We are working with them now to start another project.

Great people, very friendly, very professional, did the work on time and met the quote I was given. The finished product is outstanding, I am very pleased. I'll definitely be using them again for some more work I have planned in the near future.

We contacted TREC in late spring about building a new deck. Robby, the owner, sent an employee to do initial assessment and talk with us about our wishes. Robby had already informed us that it would be early August before he could get with us. We were okay with this timeline. Approximately two weeks after initial home visit and several email exchanges Robby had a design for us that worked with our wishes and budget. We wanted timber tech deck flooring, stair treads, and cap rail since our deck takes a beating from the sun. We were also hoping for more artificial components of the deck and pergola. Robby said a wood pergola could be incorporated into the deck; and artificial pergola would look odd in relation to deck. We went with his suggestion--and glad we did. Robby was finally able to schedule the work in early September. He came to the house about a week before the work to go over everything. Work was completed in about a week--had to work around the weather. His crew was very professional and polite. After very day they cleaned up and stored equipment out of our way. Robby took care of all permit issues and contacted 811 regarding underground lines. We love our deck. It is very well built. Pergola looks fantastic. Robby even designed pergola in light of how the sun crosses the sky at our house. He also went over with us how to maintain the deck. We look forward to enjoying our deck. Robby was fantastic. One of the best contractors we have worked with. Highly recommend TREC!

These guys did a wonderful job! Very professional and very careful to detail. They put together a well built deck. Nothing was ever too much or anything they couldn't do. Customer service is at the top of the list with these guys. Both; Pleasant to talk to and to work with. Kudos to Robby, Keven and the rest of the crew! ...You won't be disappointed.

Had to take off work in order to meet with representative. I had a good conversation and learned a great deal about options. Also learned that the lag time to schedule the job was about 5 weeks. I said that we would like the job completed by early August, which being 8 weeks away seemed plenty of time. However, nearly 4 weeks later, we have not received an estimate nor heard anything about whether the contractor was interested in our job. Really odd since both contractors we meet with were recommended by Angie's list users and both have disappeared without providing an estimate. As a result, there is no way now to have our project done in the most convenient time frame. We consider this behavior quite unprofessional.

Third job TREC has done for us. Always outstanding service and a good experience.

Love this company! I have a house for my college student children in Lexington, and have found that I can rely on Trec. The girls had the gas company come out and they red tagged our unit saying we needed another vent in our utility room. The girls were without hot water!! I called Robby and asked him to put in a vent per the gas companies specifications. Robby stated that they were swamped, and that he could get right on it next week. When he realized my girls were without hot water he found someone to get out there that day stating, "we can't have those girls go without hot water". It was fixed by the end of the day, and the gas was turned back on!! I find this company to be the perfect blend of skill, professionalism, and good old fashioned Christian values, which means the world to me as a mother with children out of state in school. I have some bigger projects lined up in the future. I will undoubtedly be calling TREC for everything!

Demolition of the old deck was quick and framing of the new deck began on day one. Rainy weather interrupted construction on three different ocassion. At the completion of work each day the site was cleaned up. The deck was completed and really looks great. Robby was on site each day to monitor the progress of the project. I have dealt with many contractors in the past, Robby Watts and his Trec Contruction, was the most professional business I have ever dealt with. He is completely focus on customer satisfaction and is very trusting and easy to deal with. I would highly reccomend Trec Construction for any project. I will definitely us him again.

I have used this company twice, and both times I have been very impressed. The employees are professional and punctual, and the product both times has been excellent.

They came out and gave us a bid really quickly. The woman who answered the phone was really nice and so helpful. I only talked to them over the phone as this was a rental property and we do not actually live in the area.

I'm an old guy who has had many building contrators in my day. Robby and his crew are the best I've ever had. He and they were very professional in completing this job start to finish, and doing so on schedule. The result is a superb screened-in porch. I've gotten nothing but compliments on the workmanship and it is great. Robby is an engineer by background and it showed from the design phase throughout construction on this project. One more thing. He blew me away with his communication skills. In the the beginning he listened to a generalization of what I wanted and then sent drawings representing multiple options, specific materials and costs. One Saturday we interacted briefly via emails and he patiently responded to my questions. By the end of that dialogue I was at ease with a final design at which we'd arrived. When construction started I pretty much knew what his crew was doing from the get go. They were so conscientious about the process before long I just got out of their way. This was not a trivial project and I was thoroughly impressed with Robby and his crew. Obviously, I would recommen them to others. C. T. McCracken

Great, any design changes or concerns we had were responded to in a timely manner. We anticipate alot of use from a very sturdily built deck. We recommend Trec Construction and would use them again.

As with every project of this nature, unexpected hitches came up, and they were addressed professionally and with little inconvenience to us. The individual crews for framing, painting, flooring, plumbing, HVAC , and finishing were top notch. A freak storm blew in one weekend night, and some leaking took place in our dining room. Robbie showed up within minutes of our call, and took care of the problem--and fixed the damage at no cost to us.

When I called to set up the appointment, Robbie's wife (can't recall her name) told us that he would be there as soon as he could to take a look at it. They were very responsive as we needed it done quickly to remain on track with our remodeling timeline for our kitchen. He squeezed us in that day and tried to get us a price quote as soon as he could (which ended up being the next day). The only (minor) complaint I have is that Robbie didn't do the actual work, but I call it a minor complaint because his team was excellent. The only reason I am noting it is that his wife said they do all the work, but it seems like nowadays it is more the rule than the exception that the contractor you call will sub-contract it out. Either way, it was done well and his team worked quickly and efficiently. Cleaned up after themselves and were timely and productive.
