Quality Stone Countertops

Not well. Poor quality control. All three items came with prominent chips on edges. Installers screwed up the order for stain and sealer. Their dirty fingerprints are visible, sealed in for all time. Despite this inexcusable shoddy work, they were pleasant to deal with and tried to correct their mistakes. However, next time we'll try our luck by going elsewhere.

It went good. The workmanship was good. We had a little issue with communication but otherwise it was fine. We liked their selection of products. The people were very friendly. They were very helpful in helping us select the stone. Then, the installation was excellent. A couple of times they didn't show up when we thought they were going to. No heads up or warnings. A couple of times we had to call them to move them along. There was a disconnect between the scheduler and the people doing the work.

We originally ordered our granite from a big box store, where after ordering the lead time was changed from 3 weeks to 7 weeks, we cancelled and ordered from a local business with a stated two week out install date, on install date they did not show up and refused to give us a guaranteed install date. As the granite install was the final task before moving (and plumber/mover re-scheduling required), we were in a hurry. 10 minutes after our discussion with the local company that did not deliver, my husband googled for surrounding city granite businesses and found Quality Stone, after a few minutes on the phone, he left to drive there (this was on a Thursday morning). Within 1 1/2 hours, he had a cheaper quote for the same granite with a and quot;next Fridayand quot; delivery date. He immediately drove to Lexington to pick a slab. They arrived on Tuesday to template the job, called on Thursday to confirm the time for Friday, arrived on Friday to install, cleaned up their mess and the granite is absolutely beautiful. They managed to fabricate the job with no seams (something the other two demanded no one could do). When the plumber arrived on Sunday to finish the kitchen, he commented several times on the wonderful job they did, especially the fact that they had installed the dishwasher clips, sink, etc perfectly. He ask who did the granite so he could recommend them in the future. My only regret is we didn't call them first.

Viktor and his team did a great job on installing our granite countertops and new sink. Jennifer patiently let us take pictures of the different granites and answered all of our questions regarding granite edge types, backsplash removal/replacement, and sink types. Jennifer provided us a time/cost estimate, which was accurate, and then she stayed in contact with us over email while we demolished our old countertop and backsplash, and installed replacement drywall. We did this to save money, but it took us longer than we thought, but Jennifer was very patient and didn't forget about us. Viktor did a great job on the templating, and answered all of our questions. Also, he was very accomodating when we made a last minute decision to enlarge our island - he reserved a matching piece of granite and held it for us until the new island came in so he could template it. In the end, the kitchen looks really great, and we would use Viktor again.

It went really well. We drove to their location in Nicholasville where someone (I can't remember her name but maybe she was a family member?) showed us around, made suggestions and gave us a quote. We went outside with her and picked out the granite we liked. Viktor came the next day and measured extensively. We have lots of odd angles and they must have measured for about 3 hours! They came one week later and installed the granite. They plumber they suggested put in the sink and hooked it all up the same day! All the details were taken care of and the only surprise costs was that we had to replace our garbage disposal which was 18 years old anyways so that wasn't much of a surprise. Thanks!

I was very pleased with the service, friendliness and quality of the whole project. I received great help in making my material choices. The fabrication was excellent. I am very happy with my new counter tops.

My wife and I went to the warehouse and were shown the available stones for the counters. Their prices were equivalent to the other companys I checked. They could not provide the tile for the backsplash and I did not want to deal with any more companies than I had to.

They were prompt, courteous, and friendly. They did a terrific job, and cleaned up after themselves. I am happy with their service and would use them again for new tops.

From start to finish it went as smoothly as possible. The only issues we had were mainly on our end...trying to figure out what sink to buy so that they would have a template to install the sink and countertops. In two weeks time, we got an estimate, picked out our granite, and installed the counters. Viktor, Alex, Jennifer and crew are very professional and did and outstanding job. We highly recommend them.

We just remodeled our kitchen, and needed new countertops and sinks for both the kitchen and half bath. We had been shown a few samples at the store where we bought our cabinets, and chose one. We spoke with Oksana on the phone and she scheduled a time for us to come and pick out our stone. When we arrived we saw so many other beautiful options that we chose something different. The granite we picked was sold out, but Oksana immediately ordered some for us. Unfortunately, the granite got hung up in shipping and was not coming in when the supplier said it would. We discussed our options, and decided to pick again. Oksana provided us with the names of their suppliers in Louisville, and we went there and chose a new granite from tons of different stones. Oksana was very helpful and patient through the process. I sometimes have trouble making decisions on decorating, but she gave her opinion when asked and helped me decide. We had major problems with getting the correct cabinets from the store we bought them from, and Oksana and Victor were extremely flexible with re-scheduling to get our project completed as soon as possible. Victor and Alex had to come back three times to install the granite due to cabinets that had to be re-ordered and my husband forgetting to ask them to drill an air gap hole for the dishwasher. This could not have been convenient for them, but they were very gracious about it and returned in a very short period of time to complete the work. We had a very frustrating experience with our cabinet supplier, and Quality Stone Countertops did everything they could to make things better. Our countertops are beautiful and are my favorite part of the remodel. The employees of Quality Stone are true professionals who take pride in their work and do an excellent job. If everyone involved in our remodel had been as accommodating as them it would have been a dream project. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone, and we will use them again when we remodel our other bathrooms. I am a perfectionist and expect quality work when I pay someone for a service, and quality was definitely what I got from them.
