The owner came out and he looked at my door and diagnosed that my rollers needed replacing and adjusting. The spring was adjusted to high. Everything he did was great, the gowning sound when it goes down has gone away. My door works effortlessly.

It took about 5 minutes to adjust the electric eye arm and tighten screw. I was given a $15 discount on the house call. They seem to be very professional.

I called about three hours ago, and they were scheduled to be here in about 20 minutes... but they called to see if it was OK to come early. I sit here, extremely satisfied, with a fixed garage door, 15 minutes before they were even scheduled to start!

My garage door quit working on Friday and I contacted Precision Overhead Garage Door Service on Saturday and they were able to come out the same day. Roger was the tech that installed the opener and he was prompt and professional. He gave me my options and the costs. The new opener is much quieter than the old one and we are pleased with the service and the purchase. Cost breakdown: $85-service call charge, $365 for the opener, $48 ($3/foot * 16 feet) for replace rubber at the base of the garage door.

Everything went as planned. No complaints.

Great company. Used them twice for some minor things that went wrong with our quite old garage doors. Both times they were very quick to respond, knowledgeable on how to resolve the issue, professional and reasonably priced. Some day we'll have money to get new doors and/or openers and I'm sure I'll be using Precision then too.

Contacted on Sunday via Message service on Angies List. Received response and options for service by return email within an hour or so, (very quick, with holiday on Monday I really did not expect response until Tuesday morning). Two more emails and an appointment was made to meet my schedule on Tuesday. Roger called me when he arrived and waited for me to arrive since he was early. Roger not only took care of the problem, but checked possible components that could have been part of the problem, checked and lubricated the door. In addition he secured the eyebeams to the track to limit the possibiity of movement. All worked well when he was finished.

I have nothing but great things to say about this company. Initially I hired another garage door company to install my garage door opener, but they refused to shorten the beam to fit to my garage door. I called Steve and let him know about the situation. He came out the next day, assessed the situation, and did a great job of installing the garage door opener. It definitely pays to get a second opinion when you are having service done. Steve literally saved me hundreds of dollars because the other garage door company wanted to sell me their garage door opener instead of installing the one I bought to have installed. A cable popped out of the drum and a couple of rollers popped out of the tracks. The service tech, Roger, arrived at the appointed time, assessed the problem and jumped right in. He restored the door to working order in 30 minutes, including replacing broken hinges and lubricating all moving parts. He also recommended replacement of weak springs. Great service. Great personality. Will be calling him back soon to replace the springs.

Steve answered my call on Sunday and was at my house by 9am Monday. He evaluated the problems and went to work. 1.5 hours later he revived our broken, sagging, inoperable door. Quality work, courteous and friendly service - will call upon Precision for my future overhead door needs!

The owner himself came out to check what was wrong. What’s nice about them is that whatever they replace on the garage, it’s a lifetime warranty. The owner is also very friendly and very nice.

Thought I was going to have to replace the whole garage door after it jumped off track, broke a spring and bent the door, but they recommended trying to fix before completely replacing. They were able to replace the spring, pound out the dents, replace some sticky guide wheels, realign the track, and get us back in business in a few short hours. Glad they had the skill and professionalism to save the door, and save me almost $1000

It was excellent. He came right away and he was very thorough in his work. His pricing was fair. He was really polite and professional. We would absolutely use him again and recommend him to others.

Went to open our 2-car garage door and it wouldn't work. Upon inspection we noticed the cables were loose and the torsion spring was broke. We called Precision and told them what happened, and told them we couldn't open the garage. Patrick came out and replaced items that were broken/bent/worn and did it before his lunch break. Very much appreciated, and door now runs very smoothly.

I have found PDS to be very professional. I marked NA for the price because I do not have a means of comparison--never got estimates from competitors because I just needed the door fixed. I had the same technician both times--Steve, who I think might be the owner. He has been great--very matter of fact and easy to talk to. Each time he was at my home he was able to complete the job quickly without needing to leave to get additional parts; everything he needed was on his truck. I would certainly use PDS again.

They called twice to say they would be a little late, which was very thoughtful. The man greased everything and replaced the rollers, then taught me how to grease it once a year and recommended spray white lithium grease (which I'd already read about being good). Very satisfied with the service and the price.

Provided and installed a top of the line Lift Master garage door opener. Also had to replace the existing springs as they were not compatible with the Lift Master opener. (Original opener was a Wayne Dalton, 10 years old and of a type no longer manufactured.) The installation went well, though it took five hours. I am satisfied with the results.

The torsion spring broke on our garage door late Thursday evening. We researched garage door repair shops and came across Precision Repair and found out they will come out after hours and on weekends without charging extra! We scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning and the repair person arrived on time within the two hour window the company gave us. We were given an initial estimate of $275 that would cover the cost of the springs as well as the service charge. The repairman, Patrick, was very friendly and after looking at the damaged spring, gave us a few options as to which route of repair we wanted to take. He would repair the broken spring, but suggested we replace the rollers, cables, as well as install two springs as our door should've had two springs instead of one to support the weight of our door. Apparently when our home was built 16 years ago, the contractors were trying to save a few dollars by installing only one spring. This creates unnecessary wear and tear on the other components of the garage door and spring. The "overhaul" Patrick sold us on would also include a lifetime warranty on parts and labor and so we agreed and spent the extra few hundred (total bill approx. $550) on replacing the other worn components of our door. Patrick also installed a weighted bar to assist in getting our door to close properly at no additional charge. He took pride in his work and kept us abreast of all he was doing. He also provided us with suggestions on how to properly seal the remaining areas of the door as it would assist in keeping our garage better insulated in the winter.

I had been getting my old garage door repaired for 2 or 3 years and it finally gave out. It was actually in danger of falling on someone so we had to get it replaced immediately. Precision overhead came out the day I called (or maybe the next day, I can't remember) and replaced the door. They were able to use my door opener. The job went fast and the door looks great.

I purchased a special coupon to have the door maintained and have the rollers replaced with nylon rollers which have a longer life and are much more quiet than the metal rollers that were on the door. After purchasing the coupon through AAA Member deals, I called Superior and was able to schedule the appointment at my convenience. Patrick called about 1 hour before the scheduled time and let me know he was available. Since I was home, I had him come over early and get started. He explained the condition of the door and operator and explained the current status and what could be done to make the door work better and to have the operator last longer. Within an hour he had replaced the springs, the rollers and adjusted the opener. The door now moves quietly and we have to look twice to make sure it is moving. New springs are of a better quality than the ones replaced. New springs do not creak and groan as the door is moving as the old ones did. Quality work. If you are looking for quality work I would recommend Precision Door Service. You might find other that are less expensive but it is worth the little extra to have quality work done.

We purchase our house 5 years ago and the garage door was having a few problems at that time. We continued to make repair after repair for the next 5 years until we had to buy a new door. Precision had given us an estimate a year ago along two other garage door companies. At that time Precision had the best quote. When we finally had to buy a new door we repeated the process contacting the same three companies for new estimates. There were still the same differences in the estimates. Not only in price but with the material they said we didn't need. The materials we were told we didn't need were actually missing on our original door. We are so pleased with everything they did and our new door looks and works great! Presicion was very professional from the beginning to the end. My husband and I will definately use them in the future and we highly recommend them!

I checked with two other companies and their price was just right. Other companies wanted to come out in a couple days, but they came out within two hours of me calling. They were prompt and courteous. They also left me some lubrication at no extra charge.
