They did not arrive on schedule. When they did arrive, it was very late on a Friday afternoon and they were clearly just trying to get done. The work was sloppy. They cut our neighbor's cable line, despite it being marked by the utility company. The gate they repaired fell apart in 4 months because they used the wrong-sized screw. They were in too big a hurry to do it correctly.

Came out to look at job to give estimate. Said I would have estimate the next day. Never heard from them again.

It was a different in price. Borders wanted 17400 Other people it was around 3000. That made andieslist look like bad. I guess that you can not depend on angieaslist.

Once they got started (there has been a lot of rain at this time which caused delays for the Company) the job was completed quickly. The fence looks great and I hope will last a long time. The only minor complaint I have is they did not smooth off the edges of the posts where they cut them with a power saw, which kind of cheapens the appearance of the finished job. To be fair to the Company; I did not tell them about this; but maybe the installers might want to look at this on future jobs. On a very positive note: No money was paid in advance of the completed job.

From the scheduling, to the free estimate by the owner, to the incredible workmanship of the 4-man team: we were so pleased! I was a little worried at first when they said they couldn't get to us for a month but then Miranda (very sweet) called stating that they had an opening 3 weeks early and could get the whole thing done in 2 days! Mr. Borders came down to give us the estimate. He was very nice and professional. A few days later, 2 of his sons and 2 other young men came marching up and starting working non-stop! I've never seen young men work so well together and in such a professional manner, when 1 walked away from a particular job, the other filled in the gap. We were very impressed! And the work was so beautiful, my neighbors have all complimented us. In fact, the people next door have decided to call them as well. All in all, I would highly recommend them! (Note, the price was for both my fence and my mother's adjoining fence.)

They are very hard working start to finish, they are quick and efficient, and do a great job. Plus they are very easy to work with and professional.

Wonderful service from JD and staff. He even advised on a pool lock I might want to have on my new gate since I have a pool in my back yard. It was installed on schedule and he even took down a couple of bushes that were obstructing where the new gate needed to be installed at no extra cost. I'm happy with the way the gate looks and matched my existing fencing and with all of the services provided.

JD's design and explanation of the repairs were clear and estimate was fair. Communication on schedule was good. His sons performed the repairs and JD should be very proud of their quality work, professionalism, and work ethic. The gates were not only repaired but function improved based on the new approach used. Great experience overall.

Once the project started it was completed in only two days and the quality of work seems very good. The price charged is exactly what was agreed and seemed like a fair price for the entire job.

We were extremely pleased with JD and his crew from first contact. He was quick to respond to us, arrived when he said he would, and took care of getting the surveyor and utilities out beforehand as he said he would. When it came to actually installing the fence, him and his team worked extremely quickly. Everything was complete in three days, and many of our neighbors commented on how quickly it was completed. They took a lot of care to make sure no detail was overlooked. His team was extremely professional and when they were finished they put great care into cleaning up. Aside from having a new fence, you would have never noticed anyone had been in our yard. Any scraps, screws, even dirt piles were cleaned up completely. As for the fence itself, we couldn't be happier. It's extremely well constructed and sturdy, and even the inside of the fence (usually the "ugly" side of the fence) is quite attractive - there is no bad side to the fence. The gate is so well done that it's actually hidden in the fence. Neighbors have stood directly in front of it and not known where it is! They used good quality hinges and materials and I do not have a single complaint.

I made an appointment with Borders Fencing for 6pm Friday, June 19 to come look at my fence and give me an estimate on the work that needed to be performed. They did not show up. At 6:30 I called their number and left a message asking if they were still coming to look at my fence and give me an estimate. They did not return my call. Very unprofessional and a waste of my time.

I thought picking Border Fencing was a low risk choice. This company had multiple reviews with an A rating. The owner of the company Mr. Borders was the one that quoted my fence. I specifically stated I wanted a quality fence not some wimpy fence that will need to be replaced in a few years. I wanted a fence that was of the same quality as my existing fence. He installed the fence while I was out of town and wanted to be paid right away. I was back home for about a half hour before he was knocking at my door. I thought he was trust worthy so I went ahead and paid him before inspecting the fence (I know that was not the smartest think to do). When I expected the fence I found the pickets were very thin and not even close to the quality of my existing fencing or that of my neighbors. I communicated my dissatisfaction to Mr Borders but he didn't really seem to care. He had my money and he isn't the kind of man that cares about repeat business. Screw everyone once and you can get make a lot of money for the short term. If you want a low quality fence at a high price Border Fencing is your company.

Outstanding. Answered request for quote immediately, came to property, measured, gave us all the options. Scheduled when weather permitted. Set posts for sides only after all electrical, cable, and gas lines marked. Two days later finished entire job. Very nice gentleman and son. Worked hard with no breaks. Would recommend them in future.

JD got right back to me when I requested an estimate and worked with me on a couple of options. His pricing was notably less expensive than the big name competitor I got pricing from. Since it was a one day job, he was able to get to it quickly. He and his crew showed up first thing in the morning and were done by the end of the day. The work was done in a professional manner and the few minor issues I found in my inspection were dealt with right away. The clean-up was good. I am very pleased with work and would easily recommend Borders Fencing to others.

Excellent communication from the start. I travel often for work and wanted an estimate via email based on what I described (provided the length of fence and a picture of what I wanted). Quote was received the next day. In order for me to validate he knew where I wanted the fence, he flagged the yard so I could see upon my return. We had several weather delays but once he was able to start, posts were set on Tuesday and the fence done on Thursday. Everything was cleaned up well. I have to say it's the best looking fence in the neighborhood! I would recommend JD and his crew anytime.

This company responded back in a timely manner and showed on time. Work was done about a week later. He was upfront about the timing (that the gate might be replaced one day but there was another job scheduled earlier so it would depend on how long that job took), and there was communication about it being a day late (which I was told about upfront). I wasn't in a rush to get the gate replaced so this wasn't issue. Gate looks very nice.

Contacted for an estimate to partially fence an area of our back/side yard. Everything went according to our agreement/estimate and we are very pleased with the look and quality of the fence. The workers were timely and courteous. We would certainly hire Borders Fencing again and recommended them to our next door neighbor who is also hiring them to do some fence repair and painting work.
