Stephen from Stephen Roach Construction Company Inc. is honest and reliable. He knows what he is doing. We also use him for electrical work. He is pretty savvy in plumbing. He is a pretty all-round person. I would use his services in the future.

Steve came out to give me an estimate and gave me advice on choosing my flooring material and color. He actually met me at Lowe's once I chose my flooring and made sure to get all the necessary materials/supplies. He delivered all materials to my house. He tore out the carpet, followed by the linoleum. He had to take the trim and baseboards off because the tile I chose would not fit, so he simply trimmed those and replaced them upon tiling the floor. The stove would not fit properly with the new flooring underneath due to part of the counter top not being level. So Steve raised that portion of the counter top and the stove fits just fine. The flooring looks great, as does the trim, counter, and transition pieces between rooms and I am completely satisfied!

I contacted him to set an appointment, and he scheduled me quickly. On the day of the appointment, he was punctual, calling to confirm I would be there and to get directions. He arrived on time and was friendly and professional. He was extremely knowledgeable about the set-up, and shared with me accounts of having done similar work for others. Once he gave me the estimate and I asked him to move forward, he jumped right in. He put the rack up quickly, and he even puttied over my mistake. It looked great, and I was happy to pay on the spot - and he gave me an Angie's List discount!

The job was completed in approximately 30 minutes. Mr. Roach was very knowledgeable about the brand of chandelier I had purchased to replace the old one. He was very pleasant and personable and cleaned up after the job was completed.

As a handyman we have used Mr Roach since he went into business. He is always punctual, kind and considerate. This is important as we are Senior Citizens and our home is 34 years old so we need him frequently. We feel his charges are very reasonable.
