It went awesome. I was very pleased.

The install went very smoothly. I cleaned out one bedroom myself including pulling up the carpet and pad. This saved me a little money. The other bedroom and closet had a lot more heavy stuff. So, I let Pferrman do it for me. Using very round numbers, it was about $100 per room to have them move the furniture, remove the carpet and pad and dispose of it. The price for the berber was great. I'm sure there is higher quality berber, but not at this price. The workers were very professional and hard working. I didn't ask much of anything of them that was out of the ordinary. They did a great job working around an odd piece of baseboard. -- That's a long story -- But the relevant point to take is that they installed carpet around it and it now blends in with the room perfectly.

He’s been on the same location for years. He does all hardwood carpeting, linoleum and everything. Its family owned, and he’s very good at the installation and he’s reasonably priced. The owner actually did the installation with his helper. He’s very good at what he does, as far as the installation process goes. He goes out of his way to make sure it’s perfect. We told our son that just because he got a cheap price on the carpet, it doesn’t mean it’s going to look good. It’s the installation that’s more important than the carpet. He does an excellent job. Our son actually lives a few blocks of streets away from where we live. Our overall experience has been excellent. We thought their price was pretty good. We will surely use him again in the future.

It has been over 20 years ago, but they performed an excellent job at the time. They installed an existing carpet in our hall and bedroom. The installation was perfert. We still to day have most of the original carpet in place. I would recommend them.

The work was good. They came when they said they would and did the work.

They were great. They were locally owned and operated. They were very quick and accurate with the estimate. Their estimate of how long it would take was right on. They did a great job. It looks perfect. They were highly recommended by other people that I spoke with in the area. We ended up going with a higher quality. The price was fine for what we got.

It went very well.I had originally contacted Home Depot which became a tedious experience. So I visited Pferman's showroom, picked up samples and took them home. We indicated our choice when they came to measure. They sent an estimate and we accepted even though it was more than Home Depot's bid. The installment took place as scheduled. The installer brought the materials. It took two days.

(1) The guy that came to my home to measure the bedrooms (Mike) was fantastic. Very knowledgeable; very professional; very likable; he did a great job. (2) The two men that came to my home to install the new carpet and padding were fantastic. They were very polite and professional and were very careful in my home. They did a great job. (3) The final product is fantastic. Both bedrooms look great. I am very happy with the new carpet and padding. I would definitely go there again to purchase carpet. (4) I think the price was expensive. I expected to pay $500 to $600 per room. I ended up paying over $1,000 per room. Way more than I expected. Particularly since my bedrooms are small to medium--they are certainly not large. Maybe my initial expectations were incorrect but it still seems expensive to me. (5) The big problem I had was delivery and punctuality. I started this process the day after Thanksgiving. I went to their showroom and met with Kelly. I told her exactly what I wanted. I went back and made the final selections a week or so before Christmas. At that time, we scheduled my delivery/installation to take place on Monday January 12th. That date was important to me and I let them know that. I was having lots of work done around my home and my general contractor was going to be on vacation that particular day. Anyway, I got a phone call from them late afternoon on Friday January 9th (approximately 3 PM) and was notified that they were not coming on Monday (even though I had already scheduled a vacation day at work for Monday and even though I had scheduled that delivery several weeks in advance). They rescheduled me for Friday January 16th. Accordingly, I scheduled another vacation day at work for that Friday. To my surprise, they called me on Thursday and canceled again (for the second time). They eventually came and installed on Saturday January 17th. My overall experience with them was positive and I am happy with the end result. It was just painful getting there. They cost me two separate vacation days at work; I had to reschedule other jobs/projects with my general contractor due to their delays; and they offered me nothing for my trouble. No price break, no discount, hardly even an apology. I was certainly very unhappy with them and their service at the time.

They were very reliable and very dependable. I thought that they did such an excellent job and that they were very kind. Their work looks excellent.

HAROLD PFERRMAN IS AN EXCELLENT PERSON. HE WON''T ATTEMPT TO SELL YOU MORE THAN YOU NEED. HE EVEN STRETCHED OUR LR CARPET RATHER THAN REPLACING IT, BUYING US ANOTHER 8 YEARS. HE OFFERS THE BEST PRICES AND STANDS BEHIND HIS WORK.
