Mansion Hill Custom Floors

Mansion Hill did a fantastic job on both floors. The new installation was left natural color and the stain match on the second room was just right. They are extremely professional and knowledgeable and do the work when they say they will. The floors could not look better.

The crew was very prompt, friendly and efficient. To my surprise, there was very little dust created by the sanding of the old finish. They did a beautiful job with the new stain and finish.

The estimate was what we expected. We had a general remodeling contractor who referred them to us.

I would use them again in future.

Mansion Hill came by three times to give us different blends of oil color. They sanded a small patch to get it just right. Mansion Hill left the home as clean as when they started. The job turned out far better than we could have expected. We have used the floors for a couple of months how and couldn't be happier. They even came back and fixed a couple of spots I messed up it moving my furniture back. I would highly recommend using them for any new flooring or refinishing of old flooring. I felt it was real value for the service we got.

Project involved sanding and staining approx 800 sq ft of living space, living room and 2 bedrooms. I screened 2 additional contractors and Mansion Hill were the only ones who were honest about how the final product would look - my floors had a lot of blotchy spots throughout the floors with visible lines of different color from rugs, etc. Mansion Hill said that the color of the floors wouldn't change too much depending on the stain chosen. Other contractors said they would be able to take care of blotchyness more. It just struck me that Mansion HIll wanted me to understand what I was asking for and control my expectations - I liked the honesty approach and not the casual, "yeah we'll make it work". The work took 4 days and the crew was very professional and helpful in explaining the process and what they were going to be working on that day, and what I needed to do. A lot of the dust was taken care of, only a slight film was left on the walls and appliances that I was able to take care of. Mansion Hill was the most expensive of the 3 companies I interviewed but had been recommended from a friend and I am happy with the final product. The floors look and feel great. I'd use them again if I had to.

They did a fabulous job in piecing the new flooring into the old and the finished product was so great, you could never tell!

It took them about 7 business days to complete. They were great guys and were extremely accommodating. They were willing to do non-VOC floor finishing. They were very patient.

They came in and did what they said they were going to do and they were awesome. I would recommend them.

Each time they uncovered some unknown problem, they would send me photographs of what they discovered. They are top notch. They are very professional and good communicators. It was a pleasure dealing with them. They were on time and within budget. They were excellent. We were very pleased with the service.

Bill Walz is one of the owners and very easy to work with. He was prompt for our first appointment and every time thereafter. We went to the showroom to look at samples, and he permitted us to take samples home for matching an adjacent parquet wood floor. Bill took careful measurements for leveling the floor. His crew arrived promptly on the stated date. They were friendly and very good at what they do. After it was finished, they cleaned up the area nicely. Bill came on the first day to make sure the job was started correctly. Bill was there when the old tiles were removed from the dining room hearth, pointed the old tiles out to me, and asked if I wanted to restore or put new wood over it. I chose to restore it (in progress by me). I highly recommend them. Great owner and great crew. The new floors are beautiful.
