+ -1 morePositive interface from company, engineer was punctual and nice to deal with. Only complaint is that the final report did not reflect accurately the conversation in the visit or after the visit. Recommendations were ambiguous and unclear, perhaps defensive instead of addressing severity of problem and immediate actions required. When I asked for clarification and an addendum, the engineer was responsive and gave me what I needed. So finally I was satisfied and would use them again for their integrity.

+ -1 moreIt went well. Debbie Spurlock, the office manager, discussed levels and cost and scheduled a visit by the structural engineer in a timely fashion. Chris Schwartz, the stuctural engineer, came as scheduled on time and completely discussed with us our concerns and then carefully inspected the house. He answered all of our questions and sent within a week a detailed 5 page report with an appendix of photos to explain the recommendations. We would use and recomment Cole Engineering Solutions again.

Description of Work: I had some movement in a crawl space that concerned me and had several bids in the thousands of dollars to pier the foundation. While that may eventually be what is needed, I know the clay soil in the Cincinnati area can cause movement without creating sustained damage and I wanted a second, impartial, review. Cole gave me just that for a very reasonable fee. I will continue to watch the situation, but I have a better idea what to look for and I am confident that it is not in need of significant remediation at this time. Would definitely hire Cole again

+ -1 morethey showed up on time. looked at everything and showed us what they were doing . took their time and gave us a temporary report until they could mail us the official report which only took a couple of days. this helped us get the walls fixed right away by the company we had hired. they were very professional. also this work is involved in litigation with the city and our attorney said they provided very good analysis of the problems in this area.
