Description of Work: We had some electrical issues that were beyond what we could personally do. Also needed a new outlet for a new fridge we were going to have delivered.

Description of Work: Our well pump went out right before bedtime, and we called Steele & Allbritten Plumbing, first thing in the morning. They had a crew out within 90 minutes, diagnosed the problem, replaced the pump, and all is well. The crew was professional, and later I went to their office to pay the bill, and the ladies in the office were very nice and friendly. We will use this company for any future plumbing we need.

Description of Work: Sewer line replacement from house to street under gravel driveway. Worked quickly, less than 1/2 a day, and gravel drive looks great, better than before the work.

Description of Work: Inspected water main intake--determined city needed to replace meter and valve, then dealt with tree root problem.

Description of Work: I have called multiple times asking for a quote to install a whirlpool tub and renovate my bathroom. 5x + but they don't even bother to call back. They have gotten too much into bigger business than just for your average joe.

Description of Work: Well serviced. Replaced electrical line that was hit by lightening and also fixed broken pipe in well (well is approximately 130 feet deep)

Description of Work: Left big hole with a 5 gal bucket in it. Placed a sump pump in bucket and left it uncovered. Sump pump didn't even work. We had to buy a one from Lowes and replace it ourselves. Also I had ask for an estimate to place a whirlpool tub in my bathroom. I have had several back surgeries and my health insurance has agreed to place one at their expense. I just got the run around. I thought it was just because I have a family member working there. But after reading all the reviews idk. Maybe it's WHO you are and not about the services. Very disappointed my husband did total restoration on owners classic car and in return we got the shaft.

Description of Work: We called them on Wednesday and they said they would be coming out next Wednesday. I called next Wednesday when they didn't show up and they said they were really busy and told me to try SYKES Plumbing. Sykes plumbing did the job and in a timely manner with professional workers. Steele was very non professional in this exchange. Really Crappy way to do business ion my opinion.

Description of Work: Came out three times to give me an estimate on replacing our water heater. It's been over two months and we still don't have an written estimate.

Description of Work: They replaced the screw in fuse electrical panel, ran gas lines and connected my new gas range & ran some electrical.

Description of Work: Our toilet was clogged and backing up in our bathtub. They came and explained what they were doing and why.They were able to take care of the problem thru an access point on our roof, No Mess in my house!! So happy!!

Description of Work: I moved to murray ky in sept of 2012, work was done on my house by mark and his son Josh, they went through all of the electrical work, and I knew that the house was in bad shape, up in the ceiling found that wires where very bad and they cleaned up that and it is surprising that the house did not burn it was so bad, between jobs they completed my work changed all the electrical work and put new lights on and so forth the last time they where at my house was in feb 2013. the total bill was right around 8 thousand dollars, they did a good job on all of the electrical work and it is now safe to live there.

Description of Work: First and foremost the older lady they have answering their phone is rude and truly unprofessional. My husband said she is usually nice to him so perhaps she just doesn't like women. We've dealt with this company in the past and it went fine but this recent issue, it seems unless it's an easy fix - they can't be bothered. The commode wasn't draining properly. Day 1, he came and tried to Snake it but when it was unsuccessful, he had to leave the premises to get a machine. The machine didn't work. I was told at the time it was due to our outlets not being able to sustain the charge. After messing about for an hour and solving nothing, he was sure it was because the septic tank needed to be drained. Certain that had to be the issue. So we had the septic tank drained this morning. The toilette flushed a little better but the fellows draining it said when I flushed the toilette, no water was reaching them so there must be some sort of blockage. Called the plumbers again. The woman this time was even worse than the first time. But whatever, clearly she and I weren't meant to be friends. Some fellow called me back almost immediately and was very pleasant. He said he wasn't the same guy who was out yesterday but that he would be along and they'll be sure to get everything sorted. Sure enough, the same guy DID come back. He brought a friend and they were able to get the machine working this time. His buddy informed me it wasn't my outlets, infact it was negligence on their behalf as someone left the machine outside and it got wet. That's why it didn't work yesterday. When he should have done this the first time? So they do get some gunk out but really, not much. Flushed the toilette. It was only slightly better flushing than this morning but still the tank was filling up too quick and not full draining. I expressed my concern that I wasn't entirely sure that it's back to 'normal'. I was entirely brushed off. I asked if they could go check the septic tank to make sure it was receiving water this time. Nope, wouldn't do it UNLESS the cover was still off. Of course it wasn't! So he said "You're all set" and was walking out. I again expressed my concern that it wasn't but said I'd let my husband have a look. He said, well if it doesn't work right, call us again and we'll come back. Really? Again? So you can not fix it again? I said, well if it's still broken I imagine we'll have to phone someone else. He said, yes you oughtta. Or something along those lines. Maybe I come from a different world but if a client tells you something doesn't appear right, wouldn't you make some effort? I mean, what he did today he should have done yesterday to begin with. I am absolutely disgusted with this company. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! The folks who came to flush the tank were surprised we used them anyways. Said they were the most expensive people around and they never heard anything positive. Seriously, avoid them.
