All of my contact was with John B. Hale starting in February of 2015. I wanted to build an addition on to my house that would include a basement, garage and upper room. He didn't come out to take measurements until April 29 and I got an estimate emailed to me on May 22 in the range of $170 - 185K. One short meeting in July and August. Finally, on October 23 I got the same exact, word-for-word email estimate from May 22. Nothing else, no additional comments, no plans drafted, no estimate of when any work might start. No measurable progress after five months. I've had to initiate practically every contact and every follow up we've ever had. My whole reason for hiring a contractor is so I wouldn't have to be bothered with all the details and doing the unpleasant tasks like keeping on everybody's butt to make sure they were doing their job. I finally got fed up but I couldn't actually fire him because he never bothered to send me a contract -- one of several things he said he was going to do -- so he was never "officially" hired. That's nine months of my time wasted but at least I never gave him any money
Description of Work: Little, if anything, after 9 months.
