COMPLETE HOME COMFORT HTG AIR

I had called another company and got no resolution so I called this company trying to get some help. The tech was at my house in just a couple of hours. He checked the unit inside and out. He tried several different things to resolve the issue taking time to check each time he changed something to see if it was going to run properly before saying it was fixed. He was very polite and really seemed to want to fix my problem. After a few adjustments he fixed the problem (he watched to make sure it was resolved before leaving my home) and the price was lower than I expected. I rarely give a perfect reccomendation but this company earned my praise this time.

The original heatpump was a large 5 ton unit. It was in operation when I purchased the house. The unit started failing, so I contacted Home Comfort to install a newer unit, I requested a Seer 14 or better unit. The unit I selected was a split system, with the pump outside and the air handler unit under the house. The workmanship was fair, and I didnt have any initial problems with the company, but thier responsiveness and professionalism is has been very poor since then. After two trouble calls to them each time to have the systems inspected, due to high energy usage, each time having them tell me it was a faulty thermostat, I finally switched to a company 20 miles further away, who identified a problem with the heatpump laying on the concrete slab, with no blocks under the unit to allow airflow and a coolant line that was cracked inside the air handler unit.
