Very nice young man, very professional, truck clearly marked. Even though this was the first time I had used this company, Jessie went over and above what he needed to do to fix my problem, checked to see if my unit was still under warranty, made several phone calls and trips to get the part and also to return the defective part. ( and it is not like where he had to drive to get and return the part was around the corner) I was very impressed and relieved to find such an honest young man. I would and will highly recommend this company to anyone who might ask and will be sure to let my neighbors know how pleased I am with Guthier Heating and Cooling, as they always ask what kind of work I had needed done when they see a repair truck in front of the house This company is a great asset to Angie's List and to the Campbell County Businesses

Jessie and Carrie showed up on time and quickly completed the work. Their work was top notch and the price was more than fair. They answered all of our questions and are very knowledgable. I will definitley be calling them for our future needs.

I purchased a "Big Deal" from Guthier to replace my 30+ year old A/C. Jesse was very prompt following the deal purchase and came out to give us an estimate. We had not yet purchased the deal from him when he gave us this estimate. He was aware that was what we were considering, but we wanted an honest opinion about the cost to have something to compare to a couple other estimates. Guthier came in at the lowest and most reasonable bid. On the day of installation, Jesse called to say he was on the way and arrived right on time. Even before accepting this bid, Jesse gave us some recommendations on what brands were good and which ones to avoid. I had already done some homework on this and the brand advice Jesse gave us was very similar to what my internet research had revealed. This fact told me that Jesse was very honest in his bids/work ethic and that's what won his our business. I do have to say that we had this A/C installed in the Fall 2014 and have not yet had an occasion to use it. However, I have no reason to think that it won't be a wonderful system for our home. I will definitely keep Jesse in mind whenever we have additional heating and cooling needs.

I called Guthier because I was told he would install my new Nest thermostat. I had to leave a message, but his wife called back soon and apologized. We were able to schedule him quickly and Jesse installed the thermostat and explained it to me. He wasn't sure about connecting it to my phone, but he admitted that and didn't try to fake it. I went online to figure that out. He reminded me that he had installed my old thermostat in 2008 when working for someone else. I'd thought he looked familiar. He's been in business for himself for four years. I will switch to him for furnace maintenance soon since my previous provider is retiring. Overall, excellent experience.

Called Jesse for an estimate. He came out promptly and quoted right on the spot. He quoted a fair and reasonable price, the lowest bid we received. Jesse called to say he was on his way to our appointment, and he and an assistant arrived on time for our installation. They were both very professional, courteous and neat. Jesse explained how to use and maintain our new system. We were very impressed with Guthier Heating and Cooling, we would use them again and recommend to others.

I called Guthier to come out and do a replacement bid on my system. The first HVAC company diagnosed the issue and said it would be $2500 to repair the leaking indoor coil VS $5500 to replace the whole system. I went down the path of looking into replacing the system, but when Jesse came and looked at it he recommended repairing it given the age of my system, and he told me it would only cost me about $1,000 to fix. He also had the lowest replacement bid as well. When it came time to do the job Jesse arrived on time and completed the work in a timely manner and was extremely professional. Not only did he provide great service but he actually came in slightly below his original estimate of $1,000, which is rare from my experience. I would absolutely recommend using Guthier Heating and Cooling.

Guthier Heating and Cooling were very professional and provided excellent service. Jessie responded within the given time range for the initial consultation and was very professional. Scheduling (I can't remember her name) the installation date was very easy and very quick since the initial consultation was done on 6-11-14 and the installation date was on 6-13-2014 (very much appreciated). The team called and arrived shortly before the time frame given which was great because after about an hour and half my home felt wonderful and cool. I was shown the work that was completed and given instructions about the new unit. I will definitely use Guthier Heating and Cooling for my future HVAC needs.

Mr.Guthier and his assistant are always punctual and courteous. This happen to be the second time the we've used the services of Guthier Heating and Cooling. Most recently,we needed to have our outdoor central air unit disconnected and reconnected in order to have outdoor structural work done in the same area. This was in the |Summer so we were afraid that we would have to go to a hotel for air conditioning until our unit was reconnected. Mr.Guthier returned promptly to reconnect the system without a glitch. Guthier Heating and Cooling |-also serviced and replaced a thermostat for the furnace a few winters back-it is functioning fine. Yes,I would use Guthiers as a provider again. |

Three other Heating Air Conditioning companies had been contacted and asked to perform this work. Two of the companies' quotes were extremely expensive and the third refused to perform the Heating System portion of the work as they were not in "Heating Mode" because it was summer. Contacted Guthier and they responded in a very timely manner and with a very reasonable price. Mr Guthier showed up on time, performed the inspection and the repairs in a very timely manner and in a very professional manner, When asked to prepare a report to be given to the new home buyer, Mr Guthier was very accommodating and his report was well written and concise. We will never hesitate to contact Mr Guthier for any Heating and Air Conditioning work.

My heating system had been acting "funny" for a few days, but I thought it was down to its age. I generally keep my house pretty cool in the winter months, around 60-65F, but it was getting down to 54F and I was getting cold, and worst of all wanted to go into hibernation. I called Guthier just after noon and Jesse was able to come out before 4pm the same day. He showed me what had happened with the system and how clogged the drain really had become - it was so clogged that it backed up into the pressure control and had shorted it out. I had others come out before, but they'd never removed the drain and cleaned it out. The amount of debris that came out of the drain was amazing (and kind of disgusting) to me. Jesse informed me that my system wasn't actually all that old and should be good for quite some time. All in all, Jesse was in and out in just about and hour - I have heat and am so pleased with Mr. Guthier's professionalism that I look forward to having him come out and perform my regular servicing from now on!

This was the first winter in our new house and the house was just uncomfortable and chilly. We had Guthier out to look and see what the issues were and do the fall service. When I made the appointment they took the time to ascertain if we had heat ( we did) and how quickly we needed them. Within a few days (my choice) and right on time he arrived. He really spent a lot of time checking out our system. He took a lot of extra time explaining how our furnace and thermostat worked. We have a very old house with a crazy quilt of ductwork and he went through it all making it sure the ducts were open (they weren't, hence the chill) and everything was functioning as it should. This is our 4th house and he was by far the most thorough service provider we have ever had. He could have easily pushed a new system on us but he didn't and explained how we could insure a long life with the system we have. I would and will use them again as needed!

I have an insurance HMS-American Home Shield which I purchased when I purchased this property this year. When the air conditioning and heat did not seem to be working, I called & an appointment was set. When the technician arrived, he looked over the ac unit outside. He did not look at the heating unit inside or the AC unit inside. I could have had a whole ac unit check up for almost this same amount. Yet, the heating and air unit weren't even looked at. I'm calling back HMS-AHS to discuss the matter with them. I wouldn't use this company again. Based on previous experiences with service calls and maintenance calls with other companies for other properties that I've owned, this was quite disappointing.

I called Guthier Heating and Cooling when my central air did not work properly. They were quick and punctual with their appointment times. They were thorough in assessing the situation. They explained the repairs needed and were upfront with all fees. I was impressed with their friendliness and professionalism. I haven't had a problem with my unit since the repair. Highly recommend!

Call company to service my heating/air unit - was told that it was shot and needed to be replaced Called Guthier Heating & Cooling for a second opinion - 1/2 hour after arrival the unti was fixed and working properly.

Had to replace my A/C unit. They gave me very candid information about the various models & brand names of A/C units, who makes them, what you really need, etc... He didn't try to oversell me and allowed me to make my own decision on whether to go "high-end", "low-end", or "in-the-middle" (went with the middle level model). They were literally half the price of the other big name heating/cooling company who gave us an estimate. They accommodated my hectic work schedule by coming in very early to give an estiamte. They were able to come just a day or two later to install the unit, they were quick, professional (even wore shoe covers so they didn't get the carpet dirty), and friendly (they are a husband and wife team).Highly recommend.

Jesse Guthier and his wife, Carrie, run this company and work side by side. They are both HVAC licensed. They (along with a helper, Brian) showed up promptly at 8:00 AM on Friday, got right to work, and were finished up by 11:30 AM (even allowing for them to give me a crash course in AC 101, i.e., replacing filters, how often to have serviced, etc.). These folks are professional, friendly, courteous -- I could not have hoped for more. I would absolutely recommend this company without hesitation.
