Len Dockum dba Total Construction

Knew things weren't going to be bad when he asked us to purchase the flags to stake out the house. They cost $2.98. Then there supposedly was a problem with getting a sky lift and he called and wanted to use our credit card to cover the cost. We did a turn key job with the Dockums and it was anything but. He said home would be completed by mid october 2013 and it still isn't completed, but he took the money with constant bilking through out the entire time. The contract included 2 coats of sealant on all the wood on interior and exterior of home. That did not happen and we've had to complete that ourselves. The contract included 700 ft of waterline with 2" pipe and we had to have the waterline contracted by another contractor costing us $2,625.The final excavating and finishing of driveway were not done and we still have that to do. He has 2 of his subcontractors that he has not paid and they will surely file a lien against our property for us to pay them. We already had a subcontractor to file a lien because he didn't pay them and that cost us $3900. Just run fast if you hear of Len or Joyce Dockum and Total Construction. After the fact this man has been in Texas, Utah, Florida, Colorado and has had to leave those states for the same kind of things i've mentioned. Who knows how many people this man has cheated. This old coot is in his 80's and should know better. He will cheat you at every turn.
