APPRAISALS-MIKE MILLER

Our home loan has been delayed well over one month, due to our waiting on Mike Miller to complete our home appraisal. Twice he has called my home after 9:15pm (which is unacceptable and unprofessional in itself), only to ask to come to perform our home appraisal (in which we have to be present to allow interior photos) the next morning. On more than 3 conversations prior to these phone calls, I have clearly requested that he be able to call at least 48 hours prior to his visit, to allow me to reschedule appointments at work. He also called at 12:15pm on a Sunday afternoon, requesting to come do the appraisal "NOW". After pointing out to him that not only was it church time, but that I was at work at that time and that he had disregarded my request for prior notice to his visit, he went on to tell me how incredibily busy he was and that he had worked late every night that week. I reminded him that had I known that he would be able to come (On a Sunday afternoon during church hours) it would have been possible for me to arrange for someone to meet him at my house. He only proceded to tell me how tired he was from working until 2am the night before. Giving in to the fact that he was hearing nothing I was able to tell him, only that he was too busy and too self involved to earn my business. He even "THANKED" me when he called my house at 9:20pm (again), and I informed him that his services were no longer needed because we had hired someone else to do his job. I do not recommend Mike Miller for appraisal services. By the way, we hired Clay Wells and he did a fabulous job. I'm also detailing my experience with him on Angie's List. !! Hope this helps someone avoid our frustration.
