Weber Windows

My experience with Weber Windows could not have been any better. It was about seven or eight weeks from the time I placed the order until installation. The crew who installed them was so nice and polite, and very professional. They took off their shoes when coming into the house, and I am so pleased with how the windows look. They demonstrated how easy it is to tilt in the windows from inside the house in order to clean them inside and out - much easier than some of the other brands I had looked at, and answered any other questions I had. The owner was here much of the time overseeing that everything was done properly. The price was somewhat higher than some of the other brands, but this was the only company who offered the fiber glass Marvin window, and I do believe it's a better quality window than other options. This company has been in business for a very long time, as has Marvin who produces the window. I have no doubt that if there should be any problems in the future, that I can count on Weber to make it right. The two young men who did most of the work were very nice and polite, as I said before, so I had wanted to offer them a little 'tip', because as I have found out recently in having other work done on my home, you don't find that is the case much of the time. But they refused to accept my offering, saying that they were just doing their job. I don't think you can go wrong in dealing with this company, if a great quality window with great service and professionalism is what you are looking for.

I have gotten enough quotes and talked to enough contractors and manufacturers to know that you can get a decent window installed for $300-$350. I thought the rep's tone was very condescending. I am sure they have good windows but $600-800 per window is ridiculous.

Initial choice for a front entry door provider We chose Weber Windows to replace our front entry door solely based on their Angie's List rating. We did not go wrong. Weber Windows is a great family owned business to work with. The sales rep Adam was super to deal with. No pressure just professionalism and a great sense of humor. The owner Jeff is the same and really wants a customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase. Communication was super via Jessi in the office. The Door We chose a Full Lite Provia Signet Mahagony Fiberglass Entry door in Cinnamon with Aged Bronze hardware. We ordered the door on 10/10/14 and it was installed on 10/29/14. That's fast for a custom door. Installation The installers, Danny and Harold, work for Weber Windows and are not sub-contractors. They know the product they are installing backwards and forwards. We we really impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail they displayed. The installation was more difficult due to the complex architectural trim work around our existing entry door. Nothing was removed without due consideration so none of the trim was damaged and could be reused. When Danny and Harold finished and left you could not tell anyone had done anything except there was a brand new door. Fantastic! An issue with the door Our house faces west so the afternoon sun comes right through the entry door. In the afternoon sun it became apparent that the inside door glass was dirty and streaked. At any other time of the day the glass looked fine. Provia replaced the door glass immediately. Danny and Harold returned and installed the new glass perfectly. We are completely happy with our new front door and highly recommend Weber Windows.

i already provided a review when i first got my Marvin Fiberglass windows from Weber Windows - which of course was great - but everyone provides a good review at the beginning. 3 or 4 years later i just want to follow up and say how much i love these windows. so it is fall - and we are expecting some house guests for a big family wedding - my wife asks the dreaded question: "can you clean the windows"? overall, it took a while, but having these awesome Marvin Fiberglass windows made the entire job a task of pride - not the typical hassle that house window cleaning usually is. washing from the outside is easy - and all the flashing is easy to clean and is caulked very well and in super shape. we do have the "lites' on the upper window, but cleaning is very easy as the lites are beveled just right. the large pane on the bottom is a breeze. all the screens come out so nicely - wash easily with a hose - and then back in with a quick push and use of the pull-tabs. inside - same story. easy to wash - the lites are beveled which makes the job go much quicker. they look great - and against some new window treatments they really stand out - more than they have ever have. just want to say how pleased we are with these windows - and very happy we spent the extra money some years ago on the fiberglass over vinyl - the window frames are very similar in look to real wood - not super-wide like most vinyl. Weber Windows did a great job putting them in - very prompt in the one call-back we had to repair a cord or something - and i would encourage anyone to just get these nice windows - your house deserves it.

It was a good experience. The gentleman showed on time for the appointment, called ahead of his arrival, and was personable during our interactions. Unfortunately, he quoted a price of $29,000 which was $10,000 more than another bid that I received. Thus, I didn't use the company for the job.

We needed to have windows replaced. The guy didn't contact us for a long time with the estimate even though I had called and elft a message. Then when he did call the price was really high. He had asked me about other quotes I had gotten and stupid me I told him of another quote. His price was within $250 of the other quote. What he didn't realize is the first quote was for windows, a door replacement and siding. When I said it seemed high for windows his response was "It's the same as company X" I was appalled he based his quote on what I had told him. ICK I wasn't going to let them do the work after that.

Everything from the salesman visit to the installation went great. The owner even came out to do the measurements, I was impressed with the attention to detail. This carried through to the installation. The guys that showed up were professional, on time, and courteous. Anytime I called with questions, they were answered on the spot, usually by one of the owners. I had a request after the installation and they were just as attentive as before. I would highly recommend this company!

Weber Windows removed our old large picture window and in one day replaced it with the new one. They also painted the frame. They were on time, cleaned up, and then came out later and inspected the work and explained window operation.

Weber has an excellent product line and their pricing was in line with the other vendors I reviewed. I did not select Weber as a vendor based upon pricing and what I felt were slightly better features offered by the vendor I did choose.

This was our second time working with Weber Windows- they replaced the windows in our home a few years ago. This time we wanted a door and storm door replaced., we ordered a Provia Signet door and Spectrum storm door. We did our research on the product ahead of time so we knew what we wanted and found their quote to be right at what we expected it to be and competitive. The whole process from beginning to end went very smoothly- they show up when they say they will, sell quality products and do a very professional job installing them The doors are beautiful and the installers were great- no complaints. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I had researched and interviewed 3 other companies and I liked Weber the best and the Infinity Windows from Marvin. They gave me really good information and the salesman gave us a very detailed sales talk about the windows, installation etc. He was excellent. The installation was very professional and quick. Windows are beautiful, work well and kept us warm during this very cold winter. Our house was built in 1962 and had the same windows and storms that were a mess. Our new windows make our house look so much better and are so easy to clean. We were extremely pleased with everyone we met from Weber and with the windows. We would certainly recommend them. A+++++++

it went great, absolutely no complaints. 50 year-old house, original windows and storms. many were quite drafty, all a pain to clean, all the usual problems with old windows. we chose the marvin infinity (fiberglass) with simulated divided lites on the top and blank on the bottom. the marvin infinity look very much like the original wood window - thin frame, not fat like vinyl - lots more total glass - and it really makes a difference - beautiful. the grills on top lend to an 'original' look and blank on bottom gives an unobstructed view of the beautiful outside (and keeps the cost down a little). half screens keep the cost down, and are also barely noticeable. basically - they don't look like replacement windows - they look like the original - but better. and SO much easier to deal with (open, close, clean). the energy savings have been significant - i look at the LGE/KU Smart Home profile every month, and we are now the same as similar homes. before the replacement windows, we were spending more than similar homes every month, particularly in the winter. a very noticeable improvement was the reduction in outside noise we could hear in the house. it was always noticeable - and now it is so quiet, peaceful, and cozy. the workmanship and everything about the installation was stellar. punctual, fast, clean. they started a few days earlier than the estimate, and completed exactly when they said they would. not a single thing left behind - no paint chips in the bushes, mud where the ladders were - almost all of the work was done from the inside. the interior wood work was not affected at all - the trim did not have to be removed - not sure how all that works - but everything looks perfect - in and out. even after 16 months, they came back out and repaired a piece that i think we broke when opening incorrectly - with a smile and for no charge. we love the windows and would recommend these folks to anyone looking for replacement windows.

We did not end up using them. I could not remember exactly what the quote was but I think it was pretty high. We waited about a year before we actually did the job. They were a little expensive but they were nice. There was no problem with them at all. We just decided not to do the job at that time. We did get three quotes at that time and they were the better of the three, not the lowest but they were the one we would have gone to had we done it at that time. If we would need any window service again, I would probably not consider them because their price was a little higher than what we wanted. We live in a log cabin so we needed good work but not really topnotch work.

We are thrilled with the newly enclosed front porch of our bungalow. Things went smoothly from start to finish. We solicited several quotes and Weber Windows had the best price for the quality of materials. The sales rep was informative and eager to please. He explained things clearly and answered all of our questions. He kept us informed and checked on the installers all three days they were here making sure we were pleased. He went above and beyond what we expected by tracking down a matching lock for the back door on our house which we had them replace at the same time. The installers were professional and meticulous about details, making sure everything was as we wanted. They arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves each day before leaving. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of their work and the work ethics they exhibited. We love sitting on our front porch in comfort even in the winter. The front of our home is more appealing and our neighbors are complimenting us on the finished look. We could not be happier with this project.

Salesperson was friendly in a salesperson sort of way. Very pushy and unprofessional when trying to convince to buy. Estimate was higher than we were looking for, so chose to go elsewhere.

Estimator came to give cost for all windows to be replaced and showed options for new window types and styles. The option to get windows built in Kentucky was appealing and I went with this brand. Got estimates from the 2 big box home supply stores and Weber was only a bit more --- and I know I received the service and responsiveness that was worth more than any big box could or would provide. Window order was on schedule as promised - install was completed promptly and professionally. All old windows and storm windows hauled away as part of install. All windows fit and operate perfectly as promised. Follow up by Weber was prompt to verify all was as I expected. No issues to report after 3 months.

Had very low key sales pitch from Chip Schildmeier on why we should purchase Marvin Windows. We had several estimates at that time and felt comfortable going with Weber & Marvin Windows. After we agreed to purchase the windows my wife had unexpected foot surgery scheduled which was before the projected install date. It was going to be impossible for her to handle the window treatments involved with the window replacements. I called Carolynn Weber and explained my dilemma with the foot surgery. In short order they changed the install date to accommodate my wife's surgery. The installers completed the install in two days, and did a very professional install. We've had the windows for two years now, and are very pleased with them.

It went really well. They finished the work in one day and cleaned up well. For the quality, I feel the price is appropriate

Everything was fantastic as far the quality and installation. It was great. No problems. Adam, the salesmen, was very good and very professional. The installer, Terry, did a great job! For fiberglass windows, I feel the price was decent.

It turned out great! They are super. We did have problems with the product, but their workmanship is great. They have replaced every single window throughout the years. I paid for the labor, but not the product. All you have to do is call them up and they are right on it. They always follow through. They stand behind their work and they are responsive.

deminstration & introduction to the windows was very professional, just the price seemed high to me, but the window was a quality window!

Weber Windows is a GREAT company to work with. They came out promptly, were not pushy about their products, gave a fair price, ordered and installed the products in a very quick and professional manner. Their follow up after the installation was fabulous as well.

Adam originally gave me 2 estimates for fiberglass windows -one for 2 windows and one for 4 windows. Fiberglass windows were heavily pushed -but were outside our overall budget. Adam called and asked if we we're getting other estimates. When I told him yes and that the prices that he quoted ($4,600.00 for 4 windows/ $4,300.00 for 2) were outside our budget, he asked if he could send another quote by email. He sent me another quote for 4 vinyl windows at $1,715.00. Unfortunately, we had unforeseen costs come up with a termite inspection. I called Weber Windows and explained about the unexpected costs. Told them that we would like to get 2 windows in my son's room now and then do the other 2 in our bedroom after the termite service was taken care of. Adam called me back and told me that the 1,715.00 would still stand - whether I got 2 windows or the 4. Wait...WHAT?! The only way I could have just 2 windows put in - was if I paid for 4?! Is that even ethical?! He went on to explain that it's because they have to pay their contractors for a full day's work - whether they put in 2 windows or 10. That it would cost too much for Weber to put in just 2 windows. I was left thinking... Well, okay as long as Weber gets what they can afford - never mind what I can afford. He did tell me that he was sorry, but there was nothing they were willing to do about the price. He also continued to pressure me during the call to get all 4 windows installed. I felt like he was trying to strong-arm me into something that I had already explained that we couldn't afford. I finally just terminated the next appointment and told him that I would contact another company to do the install. He was okay with that.

Excellent. It only took a month from decision to installation! Jeff actually made 2 trips to our home. First to determine what would be the best fit for our needs and then to get an accurate measurment before ordering. He was very patient. After working through 3 or 4 different configurations we finally made our decision. We were very pleased with the skill and patience of the installers. They were extremely careful with the interior trim. Upon completion, you could hardly tell that the trim had been touched. The new windows are a huge improvement. The draft is gone and the house is much more quiet!

I called for estimate, Jeff came out and explained product and carefully measured window frame area. Emailed estimate within a couple of days; I called and ordered the windows, paid half upfront and set up installation date. Windows actually came in a week early, the installers came out and installed windows within time frame. The Webers were very friendly, very professional, and easy to work with. The installers were also friendly, professional, and took pride in their work. I would use Weber Windows again and highly recommend them to anyone.
