They were excellent. They were on time and professional.

I got what I needed done.

Approx 3 months prior my husband started a correspondence with Utterly about setting up home organizing. They took their time in responding. A few days. Because my husband and I both work 9 to 5 we were finally told that we would have to contact a different organizer in their company. So we did. That person NEVER responded. My husband reached out again and was told that they needed some morning availability from us during the week because none of their organizers were willing to work on a weekend and they all do 9-5 M-F. He was told that we didn't have to take part in the actual organizing but they needed about an hour or so consultation before hand. I was able to re-work my schedule for this month at my job and changed my start time to 11 instead of 9 in exchange for staying later at work. I contacted them again with my new availability thinking 1-2 hours is plenty for a consultation since we live in a 2 bedroom apartment not a 5,000 sq ft home. Again there was no response for DAYS. Finally this morning I got a response saying that they just "weren't the firm for us" because of our work schedules. I scrolled down to see another organizer had forwarded my message asking if two other organizers could take our account since 1-2 hours before 11 am 'didn't work well for her'. No response from the 2 other organizers in the company just the 'you should look elsewhere for a more flexible company' from the owner that was sent to me. I find it ridiculous that a company would jerk a couple around for several months and wouldn't employ anyone who works evenings or weekend hours. There are a lot of working women in this city and to only cater to families who have one staying at home is ridiculous. A couple who both works full time and has hardly any time for themselves is a very big market to ignore. Especially to jerk us around, take their time responding and then months later after I'm able to open up availability in the morning to accommodate them - tell me that my schedule isn't a good fit for them? How many organizers do they employ and not one of them can come out for a couple hours in the morning or on a saturday? It's ridiculous and a very poor business model to have all of your employees in a field like this with the exact same schedule and refuse to accept clients who actually work full time. Businesses like this should be catering to busy working couples - its a big market to ignore. This is my first review on Angie - I came on Angie's List to find an organizer that actually works with clients schedules instead of expecting the client to work them. Since this is the only business that pops up in a google search for "Professional Organizer Louisville". I had to seek out other ways of finding someone. If you're a woman with a full time job like me - don't waste your time. Keep looking until you find someone who isn't insulting to work with.
