ceramic tile
+ -1 moreThe job went better than I expected. My house is 158 years old. Needless to say all the floors and walls are not level and have settled considerably. Tim was able to level the bathroom floor and place the tile evenly. Everything looks great.
Description of Work: Tim laid a marble floor in the bathroom I was remodeling and also placed the tile around the tub/shower area.

+ 0 moreWhen I called for an estimate he called back within the day. He showed up on time for the estimate and gave us several cost options - all reasonable. We hired him. We signed a contract reflecting timing, price etc. We gave him 1/3 down. He showed up on time the day of demolition and left everything clean after he was done. The day the tile came in, he called and scheduled a day for installation. He showed up on time and finished faster than he had projected. When he was ready, he called the plumber and got him at the house within two hours to install the faucet, etc. He came the next day to grout and finish. He was scheduled to be there at 8 AM. Called at 7:45 AM and said he had to take his kids to day care and would be late. He showed up at 9 AM. He broke a marble shelf during installation, left to get a new one, returned promptly and finished the job. The shower is beautiful and we couldn't have been happier.
Description of Work: Tim replaced our master bath shower. He tore out the old one (which was leaking) down to the studs. He built a new shower pan, tiled, and added shelving and a soap dish. He scheduled the plumber to come in and put in the new faucet and shower head. He cleaned up after every step of the project.
