The Wizard of OS

Description of Work: Marilyn responded to my late night e- mail request for assistance with my laptop. It was taking an extraordinary and unacceptable long period of time to respond to any request made such as opening a web page or a document. Although my laptop hard drive contains a large amount of data and it does not have the fastest processor she was able to return my unit to a more than acceptable use. Without the necessity to fit a home visit into my schedule - Marilyn used my electronic authorization to remotely access my laptop where she then proceeded to analyze the cause of the problem and then ran clean-up programs... while I went spent the evening going out to dinner and completing errands.

Description of Work: Reformatted a (new to me) second hand computer then installed or reinstalled all needed and/or requested software including updates. Software included virus and spam protections which were automatically set to run. Service also included installing and setting up my e-mail service. A wireless USB device was recommended be used instead of paying "wizard of os" to purchase and install a wireless card as I am unable to have that area of house hard wired without great difficulty which would have been a more expensive option. My computer was picked up and dropped off at my home. The company has also performed remote software repair on my computer earlier in the year - my earlier computer problem was fixed while it sat on my desk at home.
