He came to do the work on 2 different occasions. Which was June the 16th of 2015. At that time I thought he had fixed the refrigerator and at that time he said he was going to order a compressor for the freezer. Which was a separate appliance, because there were two appliances he was supposed to fix. On the first appliance the refrigerator it was never fixed, the top portion which is a small freezer and it was not fixed. He has been to my house 6 different times to fix this and has never fixed the appliances. He always has an excuse and never shows up on time or the date when he says he will be there. On June the 16th 2015 I paid $419.60 for the refrigerator to be fixed in my garage that had a top small freezer. The top portion that small freezer would never work or freeze ice so the appliance is still not fixed and I paid him to fix it. The refrigerator DOES NOT WORK AT ALL NOW, it only worked a little bit for a couple of months. 4 weeks after he supposedly fixed the fridge I paid him 450$ for the separate up right freezer which is the 2nd appliance he was supposed to fix for me. Now neither of the appliances work at all and I am out $869.60 total. I just want to be refunded my money for the appliances that were not fixed.
Description of Work: He was supposed to repair a freezer and a refrigerator for me. He also said there would be a 1 year warranty on his work.

We originally responded to an ad for a company named Mr. Appliance. Don't know how The Appliance Specialist ended up here.
Description of Work: We called him to repair our microwave oven. He said that he had to order a part that turned out to be on back-order. When it finally arrived and he installed it he determined that another part was needed as well. The cost of that part put the total cost above what we would have been willing to pay at the start. We then decided to cancel, knowing that we were responsible for the $55 service charge for the original call, but we had to pay a restocking fee and $20 to ship the part back.
