Surface Restoration

Surface Restoration took our old dingy tub and made it sparkly white! It looked brand new! I was thrilled with the outcome and when I had an issue/question a few months later the gentleman came out and it looks like new again! I want them to do my other tub. Highly recommend.

Requested a quote via email, got response next day, (request in on weekend), received quote over phone, cost excellent: work done same week in one afternoon, 5 year guarantee. Appeared on time, work done in expected time frame and total actually lower than estimate . Couldn't be better.

Fran gave a quote on the phone and then was punctual and professional upon arrival to do the work. He was meticulous and clean in repairing the tub - he was friendly and obviously knew what he was doing. He charged us exactly what he quoted on the phone. It's been 3 days since the work was done and you can't even tell there was once a hole there. He said it was likely a manufacturing defect. We are glad we called Fran and would recommend him.

Fran did a great job repairing the tub. Was very meticulous and professional. He was initially concerned that he couldn't match the swirl color pattern exactly but it was a non-issue, the tub looks like new. Sure beats replacing the whole tub! Would definitely recommend his services.

Fran quoted a price that was in line with some others but stated that he would evaluate the tub to determine if repairing the two areas in questions might be reasonable. Fran arrived timely, checked the tub and gave me the option of repairing the two problem areas as the tub was in very good condition and quoted me a lower price. I also asked if he could recaulk the tub, which he also did. He cleaned and polished the entire tub, it looks new again and did a great job caulking around the tub. I cannot tell where he fixed the chip. He completed the job in the time frame he stated and also provided some suggestions on cleaning the tub to preserve the finish. He cleaned up and left no mess. I would definitely recommend him to anyone

Fran arrived when he said he would. He was professional and neat. The tub resurfacing is an important part of rehabbing a 1950s bathroom in desperate need of some TLC. All the other work (regrouting tile, painting, polishing fixtures) was done before Fran arrived and he did a great job of protecting all that effort. The tub looks great and was the final touch in giving the bathroom a new life. I use him again.

This was the cheapest quote and when I called for a quote he just gave it to me over the phone. From his conversation I could tell he was an honest professional and had some education (true -- college graduate). Other quotes I received were as high as $800 and most folks were what I call pushy slick salespersons. I felt very comfortable with Fran and I am so glad he did the work. I will recommend him very highly.

The tub looks brand new, completely smooth, all edges are finished. We were very impressed with the work and attention to detail.

Spectacular results. My bathroom went from a grungy mess to a beautiful clean oasis. Not only does the bathtub look new, but the mismatched ceramic tile (in size, color and age), with cracks and irregular dingy grout is now spanking clean and looks newly remodeled. I can't believe more people don't know about surface refinishing. It is an extremely cost-effective alternative to putting up new ceramic tile. And Fran is an artist and extremely trust-worthy and reliable. He takes real pride in his work.

Wow - the bathtub looks brand new! Fran quoted the price on the phone, and it was the actual cost. It was much less expensive than several other estimates I received. Originally, he planned to begin work at 9:00 A.M., but he called the night before and asked if it would be okay to start at noon instead. I agreed, but he didn't show up until 2:00. (This didn't bother me, as I had read this happened in another review). Once he arrived, he got right to work, and worked diligently. The whole process took a little over 4 hours. The finish looks terrific. He cleaned up everything and was great about explaining how to take care of the tub and answering my questions. I'm very pleased with the work!

Took a bit less than 6 hours from beginning to end for the completion of the project which is exactly the time frame given with the estimate. Overall quality work and would definitely recommend.
