Stivers Heating and Air

I have a maintenance contract on my equipment with Stivers and couldn’t be happier. They come out twice a year and tune up my furnace and A/C. Doesn’t take long and my tech, Billy, is a pretty nice guy. I’d recommend them for service or new installation over anyone else in town. Locally owned and family operated!

They are a small family business, very friendly, they have a reasonably price and I really like working with them.

i was a little disheartend about the air going out the next year almost to the day, but it was just a fuse. They came out right away , showed me what was causing the problem and fixed it!

It went pretty well-they came out during a heat wave , but it hasn't been a year and the air is out again.500.is a lot of money to me - not sure what happened -got a new blower motor last year but not working anymore .,, kinda depressing

They arrived monday morning, found the problem and fixed it. Inspected the outside condenser and coolant. Billy was very courteous, friendly and honest in the transition. Appreciated working with a very respectable company who in fact is very trustworthy. Have other friends who have been using Stivers for years and they also very satisfied.

After another company tried to scare me into replacing my system, they provided a second opinion. Yes, my system was getting older, but no, it wasn't about to die and didn't pose a danger. He checked the refrigerant level and added a pound.

It worked out great. They figured out the problem and fixed it. I didn’t do too much of price shopping. I was satisfied with what they were doing so I just told them to do it.

Their bid was competitively priced (received 3 bids) and warranty exceeded all. I also felt comfortable with Bill (sales) as he seemed very honest and knowledgable. He configured the system to suit my needs and to be energy efficient. They arrived on time and completed the work as expected (took a full day). I am very happy with the system and the worked performed by Stivers.

Donnie thoroughly checked the system and talked with me about my options. He had 4 different price and efficiency options. There was no pressure to get a higher priced model or to add the AC at this time. He was thorough and I learned a lot about my system and furnaces in general.

Showed up on time. Completed work quickly. Problem solved and I had a cool house within a couple of hours.

Their servie man arrived on time just like they promised. He had a great personality was extremely professional and very courteous. He expalined in detail what was wrong, (did't try to sell me something) gave me a price up-front to fix and then proformed the service just like he said he would. We had an "Excellent" experience with Stivers.

He came out as scheduled. When he found a problem with a part of the furnace, he explained it to me, and offered options. I decided to go ahead and replace the part, and when it turned out that he didn't have one with him, he said he could return the next day. That worked for me, and once again, he arrived as scheduled and replaced the part. It was done in a very efficient and timely manner. I was very pleased with the experience and would definitely use their services again.

The salesman was very polite and provided excellent information to make an informed decision. He even let us know about an LG&E rebate that we did not know about. He was able to schedule an install within 48 hours. This was great since it was during the record heat wave and no one else could get to us for a week. The installer showed up on time and did a great job. The workers were courteous and keep the area clean. Great overall experience.

They are fine, I have used them for years. I have the same technician come every time. They are familiar with my house and needs.They are very reasonable price wise, very dependable, and very courteous.

I will use them every time with confidence.

Technician showed up on time, discussed the issues and general furnace maintenance with me, found that the igniter switch tested very high and was operating on borrowed time, and installed a new one. He was professional and knowledgeable and communicated the information to me in terms I could understand. I am very satisfied with the service.

They are very good and reliable. I have used them several times for problems like this. Every time it is done right. They communicate with me well. They phone me to check on repairs and let me know what is going on.

They did a really good job. I have done business with them ever since I bought the house. They had installed the original furnace for the previous owner. I had them service it and I liked them. They were very prompt and professional. They were there when they said they were going to be there. They didn't leave a mess at all. They were very polite. I was very pleased with their work. It was a big job. There is a tax rebate right now and I could have gotten one for $1500.00 less that would have been 80 percent efficient. To get the 95 percent efficient it was going to be another $1500.00 but I will get that back in a rebate. That will probably save me more in the long run. I don't know about their price because I didn't get a huge number of estimates. You get what you pay for. I would use them without hesitation in the future.

They were extremely professional-all appointments were kept, workmen showed up on time. This was an extensive project, but they had it completed in a couple weeks, with minimum disruption to our household. The workmen cleaned up after themselves every day. We have a beautiful system with a Maytag unit that is fully guaranteed for 12 years--we are very happy with our new air conditioning system--we have been totally comfortable during this hot weather.

It took two days. They did a very good job.

They were knowledgeable and knew what to do and how to do it. They came at at the time & date they said they would. They were neat & clean and covered their shoes when they came in the house. They cleaned up after themselves.

The quality of their work was good. I would use them in the future. They were courteous and kind. They were professional while they were working. I would recommend them.
