St. Matthews plumbing

These guys are the best. They show up when they say they're going to and do what they say they are going to do. Andrew helped us add a bathroom where there hadn't been one, updated the plumbing in another bathroom, put in a new hot water heater, ran a gas line for a gas range and connected appliances. All the work was top notch.

After doing some research, I decided on St Matthews Plumbing, primarily due to it's consistent 5 star rating on Google reviews (21), Yelp (1), Angie's List (4), and BBB (2). My initial contact was Doug Peacock, its president, who'd responded to my online request for service. He sent Chris out for a ->free<- estimate that same day (Monday), then set my appointment for today (Thursday) when I called back after the estimate. I had 4 things I needed/wanted done. In the end, the 2 needs were addressed. The other 2 are minor and postponed for now. When Chris was here Monday, he (1) tightened up the pipe under my kitchen sink (no charge) and (2) advised what type handle/faucet I required to replace the constantly dripping tub/shower one in the main bathroom. He explained the 2 choices available (with washers or easy quarter-turn & no washers), and suggested I get it at Plumbers Supply, which I did AFTER I checked at Home Depot and Lowe's. The job also involved cutting out an access in the drywall to the plumbing - it's in the bathroom closet - nicely squared, so it will be easy for me to fix with a panel of some sort. Chris is knowledgeable, polite, and his post-job clean up was fine. I highly recommend this company. Posting before and after photos.

Plumber recommended some temporary low cost solutions which we are using and advised Us of a possible more permanent solution which he could not guarantee as being 100 percent effective. Holding off on any additional work at this time.9

Service was great from St. Matthews Plumbing. Chris came out and did an estimate and I was easily able to set up a time for the repairs to be made within a short time. Chris and Andrew both came the day of the work and were very professional, knowledgeable, and sociable. Their estimate was the best out of 4 estimates I got, and they kept to the pricing promise and did the work in the time they estimated, when other companies told me it would take them longer. The company President Mr. Peacock maintained contact with me and came to check the work the day of the job. Great company to work with.

I was given a detailed analysis of the problem and possible solutions were discussed. The workers were very pleasant to have in the home,arrived on-time and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely hire them again.

They showed up on time, cleaned up everything when finished and did a really great job.
