SMITH'S FURNITURE

I purchased new furniture from Smith's Furniture of Louisville KY, when the furniture arrived a chair was broken, after calling the store for customer support, basically there was no support, they told me that their quality control was too send repair personnel over before they will replace it. Upon that I told them good quality control would to be checking the furniture before delivering it then they told me that was not their policy. Not to mention one delivery guy asked too use my restroom while the other was complaining about the heat and begged me for a cigarette, (it was only 70 - 75 degrees). Very unprofessional. All in all I am very disappointed in the response to my complaint and in fact I am getting ready to call the company to come out and tell me if in fact it is a Benchmark product, I really feel they have name brand products on the floor and deliver copycat products to the consumers. Bottom line---do not shop at Smith's Furniture in Louisville KY.

THEY DISCONTINUED THIS SOFA BECAUSE THEY HAD SO MANY COMPLAINTS, AND THEY WOULD NOT REPLACE IT, SO I WAS NOT HAPPY. THE MAN WHO DID THE REPAIRS WAS FINE, BUT THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN A COUPLE OF MONTHS LATER. THEIR WAS A DEFECT ,AND THEY WOULDN'T RECOVER IT WITH ANY OTHER FABRIC.
