About us

Scott of all Trades, LLC is a Handyman and Contracting service company. We have a group of skilled handymen and licensed tradesmen that work for us. We only contract out work that requires a specific license. All work is done by a highly skilled craftsmen. We drug test and do background screening. We always give free estimates. We are fully insured and have been in business since 1995, but only registered as Scott of all Trade, LLC since 2007. We service all of Louisville & surrounding areas, but we specialize in older homes. We warranty all of our work.

Scott told me he had a evaluation report to email to me & never did send it prior to mtg with adjuster. I requested this info 2 wks prior to mtg & followed up several times asking for info. All conversations documented in texts. He lied to me bc he never even had a report. Then when I confronted him 2 hours before mtg with adjuster, he refused to show up to meet with adjuster & left me hanging. VERY DISAPPOINTED! Will never work with him again.
Description of Work: Asked for evaluation/estimate of hail damage to roof. Asked Scott to meet with State Farm Insurance Adjuster on 10/17/12. Scott told me he had a report to email to me & never did prior to mtg with adjuster, which he also never showed up for. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Members comments are not a completely true. Scott had our roofer go to Member's home and look at her roof for hail damage. Scott spoke with Member to tell her the roofer hadn't gotten the report to him yet because he was still very busy with hail damage claims. Scott also informed her that he would send the report as soon as he received it. She did not believe Scott and became so enraged that she started yelling and cussing at him. Originally we agreed to have our roofer meet the adjuster, but after Member's inappropriate language and creating a potentially hostile work environment Scott changed his mind. Scott was completely in shock and got off the phone. He called her back within a couple minutes and told her we repectfully decline her as a client and we will not be at her estimate because we value our roofer and refuse to send him into a hostile work environment. Our company declined any further contact with Member due to her inapproprate language. We do not believe anyone should be spoken to in the manner. After he declined her as a client Member then started sending treatening text messages which we had no response because we had already declined her as a client. We did not have any contracts or estimates with Member. We also have the same documentation Member spoke of and presented this information to the BBB for advise and they informed us that Scott of all Trades did nothing wrong and if she tried to lodge a complaint with them she would be declined. We always show up and do any work we are contracted to do. Our company is sorry Member was so frustrated, but our company is not responsible for making our employees and sub contracters work in a hostile work environment. We do reserve the right to decline a potential client if no work or contracts have been done. We feel this is a good business practice because we, as company owners, are responsible for protecting the people that do work for us.
