Rumpke Waste

They removed our can because of "non-payment", yet we had paid the bill the day before. According to them, our payment was "in-process" so it did not show the bill being paid. So, I am responsible for them having an archaic system. Then, to make it worse, they charge a fee to return the can! And, it will take a week to 14 days for them to get it to us. If this is how they normally do business I am astonished that they are able to stay in business. "Very Poor" to say the least.

I've never had a problem with trash pickup until the past couple of months and had to switch to another service provider because of the irregular pickup times. After cancelling the service I have had one heck of a time getting them to pick up my can and thus issue a refund for the remaining quarter. When I called to get answers, all I got was an argumentative representative deflecting the blame on me. Still have their trash can and no refund!!!!

They need to be a little bit more on their toes.

They have been my trash service. for three or four years. We had another one and Rumpke took over. They pick up the garbage. They're good about doing that. I don't have anything I didn't like.

Rumpke Waste Management come once a week. It's $45-50 a month. They do an excellent job. They are here like clockwork every Wednesday. They are very friendly on the phone.

Our neighborhood board choose them for us. We pay them once a year through our taxes. The same people are always on the route and they are really nice men. They are accommodating. Some of the people in the neighborhood are so old that they don't bring their trash cans to the street, but the trash men go down to their garages to get it, haul it up to the street, empty it, and take them back. I think it's ridiculous, but it helps some people although we pay extra for it. They'll do anything you pay for, but they are very good. If you call with a problem or anything they are very responsive to that, so they are a pretty good one on one company. They are always here on Monday.

Sometimes they don't pick up the trash and I have to call and say something to them. Their prices are high. I will continue using them until I find somebody cheaper.

I only had one bad experience. I had an extra amount of trash and garbage at one of the pickup one day and I was actually outside, I was going to try to help them get it into the truck and I didn't call them beforehand and the person that was driving the garbage truck looked right at me, went past the house, turned around and drove right on by and left. They didn't pick the trash. I actually called the company then my wife told the company and then the next day, they came out and picked it up. That was the only issue that I have had.

They do a great job and have been using their service for a while. They offer a competitive price.

My subdivision has a contract with them and we have been very pleased with them. We have been using them for over 20 years.

They are very reliable. They show up, unless the weather is horrendous. I pay them quarterly. They don't have a set time at which they are supposed to show up; so they come on the day they are supposed to. I will keep using them unless I find somebody who is a lot cheaper. I used to use another company which was a whole lot more expensive and was very picky about everything they took.

I've used them for years and they are excellent. I pay $15 a month. They have always been here on holidays. They take everything I put out whether it is loose lying on the ground because my garbage can is full. They take it all. A different truck comes and takes the recyclables. They will take tree branches or whatever. They are really good.
