Quotes: I price checked with the three of the highest rated roofers on Angieslist. All three wear very professional and came back with nearly identical recommendations for work needed. The first two had a long pitch that I had to listen to which was overall acceptable, yet still annoying, as they were trying to lay the foundation for the value of their service. The first two all had three options to choose from with varying degrees of offers. Sergie came out and from the time he parked the truck to handing me a quote was around 20 minutes and out of that time I only spent about 5 minutes with him which was greatly appreciated as I had work to do on my house. His feedback was almost identical to the others yet offered some additional options that would meet my needs while requiring less money yet still wrapped up in only one quote. Additionally, while the others were very professional and, in my opinion, honest, they did come off very salesman typish. Sergie, who is the owners of the company, is the person you hope moves next door to you. When he walked away my dad, who is jaded, turned to me and said, "You should go with him I really like that guy" all without even knowing how the quote compared to the others provided. lol. Pricing: I am not going to list all the price options of the other two companies quotes because Sergie's quote included all their mid end quote options(basically the top level had a ton of add on stuff that was not needed). So basically here is what I was quoted for similar offer(actually Sergie did more with the chimney fix and placement of cap so add about another 400 bucks on the other two). Company 1- 8,995(did not include chimney being fixed or cap being placed) Company 2- 6,975(price could go up depending on number of boards needing replaced and did not include chimney being fixed or cap being placed on. Roof It Right- 3,995- Roof it Right is the only one that offered the Certainteed shingles which I speak about more below. Install: Sergie gave me a two week window and he got to me at the end of the two weeks. We had a ton of ran so I was even a bit amazed he meet the expectation. They ripped the roof of, laid new board, put on new roof, and did clean up all before I got him in an 8 hour shift. Additionally, I did not find any left over trash or even a nail after they left on my ground. Quality: Sergie used CertainTeed shingles. I had not heard of this company, which was concerning, so I researched as I always do and after about 12 hours of scouring the internet on all thing roofing shingles and feedback on different companies and their shingles I was pleasantly surprised that CertainTeed is viewed in the industry as the top of the line shingle. I highly recommend everyone do their own research as what I also found the extra expensive shingles are not worth the money, which Sergie actually told me when we talked on the type of shingle needed for my house, and may actually have worse performance. So yes, Sergio was actually talking me down on price of the job). That did not happen with the other two companies. If they could have sold me the very top end package they would have in a moment. End of the day my roof looks fantastic and the service provided made this a fantastic value. Oh, also their warranty matched those other companies also. Overall Experience: As I have said Sergie is just an incredibly likeable person that you just naturally trust yet fortunately for me he also backed up that trusty worthiness with action. He was top notch in every interaction and he even brings his cute little kid with him to work on some days(His son took the payment for my roof). You can also tell Sergie takes great pride in his work just from speaking with him as he is always enthusiastic. Want proof? Wrapping this up, Sergie is a great guy who saved me thousands, provided top level work, and made the interaction easy. Give him your business.

Sergei and his team arrived on time the morning of the job and got to work immediately. The job consisted of removing a chimney that was no longer in use and showed signs of water damage. I was not home all day but when I arrived home they were close to being finished with the job. Sergei took time to show me the damage that the chimney contained. Upon looking at it I knew we had made the right decision. In addition to removing the chimney all of the old shingles were removed. This was a total tear down. Nothing new was placed on anything old. Any sheathing that showed damage was replaced as well as where the old chimney had previously been. The new roof looks amazing. The front part of our house had previously been replaced with 30-year shingles (at the time of the job we had been in the house for 5 1/2 months) and they were able to match the color for the back part of the house so we have a uniform look. Sergei and his team are professional, do high quality work, and thoroughly clean up when they are finished. We had multiple estimates done and they were by far the cheapest. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone that needs roof work done.

They are an incredible team. They work with a smile and remarkable professionalism. They communicate and offer support above and beyond the call of duty. They offered several solutions and pricing options. They came and cleaned up everyday. I have to say these guys are seamless and work to reduce disruption that comes with renovation. Imagine this guy, the owner of the company, at the top rung of a 20’ ladder in the dark with a LED headlamp on. He is screwing in the last gutter after a 12 hour day. This Sergei Churbanov, dedicated, even-tempered and a perfectionist. Who do you want to replace your roof and gutters when this much our you money is on the line. I could write a review that went on forever, but I’ll get to the basics. 3000 sq. foot complex roof that required 30 squares. Bid also included 240 LF new 6” gutters and guards. I contacted five “A” rated roofers. They all provided old style carbon forms with hand written estimate. Very few details. Sergei emerged from his truck minutes later with a folder that had an exact dimension map, material specifications, and detailed cost estimate. Not only that, but he showed me a video on his laptop of the RHINO gutter guard system. The crew were, to put it simply, a study of efficiency. I watched intently over three days and saw dedication to craftsmanship that made me very certain this roof was installed perfectly. Cleanup. They used a magnet rake to get up all nails and screws. They cleaned up literally every square foot of property to perfection. Even as we said goodbye in the driveway, they still were picking up. All materials were prime. Certainteed system shingles and underlayment. Rhino gutter guards that never requires gutter cleaning. Summary. A roof/gutter replacement is serious business for your home. It’s got to last 10-20 years, be attractive and functional. Price is important, but many quotes are almost the same. I hired the best! Thanks Sergei.

I used Sergei and his crew for the replacement of my new roof two years ago. His work and final product then was superb. Do to an small accident I found that I had paint on my new shingles. The roof is under a warranty which requires only a certified Roof It Right specialist is allowed to replace or repair any of the roofing shingles. Sergei responded so very quickly to my call for help. With in 2 days time the bad shingles were replaced and I am very pleased with the work and work ethic of this contractor.

Sergey is the only roofer that was able to diagnose and fix a chronic leak over our kitchen! The area had leaked off and on for 15 years. Once his company located the source and reshingled the area of concern, we have had no further issues. He has also done work for friends of ours, and all are pleased. I highly recommend this company!

I called Roof It Right and a couple of other roofers for estimates when I observed water leaking down into my garage from around my chimney. Sergei came out a couple of days later. Even though work on other jobs had delayed him until it was after dark, he still came out and got on the roof with his flashlight. His estimate was a little lower than the others, but not so much as to make me suspicious that corners would be cut, so I went with him. The work crew came out a few days later and got the work done within an afternoon. Looks good. We will see how it holds up next time there is severe weather, but I know that even if there is a problem, he will come back at no charge to make sure that it is done right. At this point, I will not hesitate to call him again.

This is the third time I have used Roof it Right and they have done an outstanding job each time. Sergey is so quick to respond and out of the three roofing jobs they have performed for us, it was never more than a week from call to estimate to job start. The work completed has been professionally and with quality materials. Its worth noting, that all three jobs were on older homes in the Highlands with very high roof lines and limited access. I would highly recommend them for any roofing requirements.

I recently have had recurring leaks in area that this company was supposed to have fixed. Around skylight, they put caulking or someother sealant. all around the skylight on top of shingles. Several roofers that I had out recently to repair these leaks told me what was done by Roof it Right actually made it more likey for water to leak into the house. Stay away from this company- they are incompetent.

I called Roof it Right first because they were the highest rated in my service area. Everything that all the other reviewers are saying is true. Friendly, punctual, professional, good communication, fair pricing. Before Sergey left my house the first time I had a detailed estimate in my email. I had a question or needed something changed on the estimate I had a response with in the hour. Once I had a signed a contract (which by the way was through the email through a document signing service) the work started within a week. Let me give you a comparison to the other two contractors I contacted for an estimate. The 2nd contractor was 2nd highest rated in my area. The guy came out had a rough estimate on paper that he never officially showed me. He told me he would send me an email after he got some numbers on the windows. Never heard from the guy again. Since I already had my first estimate and was already impressed he never heard from me again either. The third guy had a few reviews and was local. I like to support local businesses. He showed up 30 minutes late, he called ahead but I mean really... his office is located 5-10 miles away. Roof it Right home office is like 40 minutes away and they cover Louisville, E-town, and Southern Indiana. His next mistake was he wanted to immediately see what the estimates were from the other bids and what my insurance was going to pay me before he stepped foot on my roof. Third mistake he did not bring a ladder and when I offered the use of my home ladder he did not seem interested in that either. He said he would be back the next day with his ladder. He showed up in my drive way the next week which I then had to explain the job was already contracted out and was starting in a couple of days. Just save yourself some time and go with Roof it Right. UPDATE: In late Oct, 2015 I noticed a very small leak near the chimney. Literally a single drop that would slowly form. It was very windy and raining very hard and had never noticed the leak before. I emailed Sergey that night and told him about the issue. He responded to me that morning and sent guys out that day to address the issue! The flashing had come away from the mortar and he apologized for the issue. Workman fixed the issue that day. Sometimes people will perform very well during the job but honoring their work afterwards is a different sorry. However Sergey's customer service is top notch!

Roof It Right did a fantastic job of installing a new roof on our house. They showed up with a large crew that was completely professional. They wore uniformed outfits and complete safety gear. It took them no time to remove the old shingles and paper from the old roof. They were very careful not to hurt the lawn or shrubs and used canvas to cover everything so debris would not be left behind. They even used a magnetic nail rake to ensure that there were no nails on the ground or drive way. Sergey, with Roof It Right, was very nice and brought me several shingle samples to pick from. His crew quickly finished the job in approximately 8 hours total time. Their professional workmanship certainly increased the value of our home. The roof now looks absolutely beautiful, and my wife and I are very proud of it. I do not see how you could find a better roofer in Louisville.

The inspection was fine, but we went with someone else. The guy was very prompt, nice, and professional.

A few months ago I moved to Louisville and purchased a home. I took bids from 4 vendors, (all vendors were listed on Angie's List with A grades), to replace the original roof (21 years old). Each vendor provided a quality bid, however Sergei (owner of Roof It Right, LLC) provided me with a more comprehensive proposal that addressed other potential issues. Sergei took several pictures of my roof and showed me how the original installation of the roof and gutters led to large amounts of water running down a couple of dead valleys on my roof. This excess volume and animal damage (eating of wood) caused some of my cedar siding to prematurely rot. Sergei installed two additional downspouts to reduce the volume of water flowing in the valleys. He also removed the bad siding, added more flashing, installed new siding and painted. One of my chimneys had a rusty cap and he removed, sanded, painted and re-installed it. I purchased the Tamko Heritage Woodgate product. Tamko was a product that I was not familiar with, however a couple of the vendors quoted them. I went on the Tamko website and checked to see if Roof It Right was listed as a certified Tamko Pro which allows Sergei to extend the warranty of the roofing materials and labor. I checked out Sergei's website (www.goroofitright.com) and was pleasantly surprised to see that I could look at a PDF of his current business and workers compensation insurance certificates. Once the supplies arrived, we had several days of rain which naturally delayed our installation. Sergei was in constant contact with me as he adjusted his schedule. Sergei's crew would start promptly at 8am each day and would clean up before they left. Sergei would stop in each day to perform a quality check on the work being performed. During one of Sergei's visits, a woman from his office stopped by. She was in charge of his company's safety training and was there to take pictures and ensure safety procedures were being followed (very impressive for a company their size). Sergei and his team did an outstanding job of tearing off and installing my new roof. I would recommend anyone interested in a new or replacement roof to check out Sergei and Roof It Right.

Sergey Churbanov and his company, Roof it Right, were very professional every step of the way. This was our first experience in having our roof replaced and Sergey was very attentive to our concerns. We only contacted one other company for an estimate and they did not follow-up so we went with Roof it Right. We felt very comfortable with Sergey, liked the estimate he gave us and were pleased with the Tamko Heritage Premium roofing shingles he presented to us. After choosing a shingle, Sergey sent us an electronic contract to sign and we were on our way to a new roof. We had to wait for the shingles to come in, then for the weather to clear and within about a week, Roof it Right's team was clearing off the old shingles and installing the new ones. The Roof it Right team was very considerate of our landscaping, making sure to put down tarps to catch all debris and had put their trailer in our driveway to dispose of the shingles. During the removal they found that a piece of plywood had some water damage and replaced it for no additional charge. Then they found that the attic vent could not be removed and reused, so they also replaced it at no additional charge. This was astounding to me; in this day and age where most companies will nickel and dime you to death, Roof it Right went out of their way, both in workmanship and money-out-of-their own pockets to insure that we were satisfied with them and our new roof. It did take them an extra day to complete the project, but since we had two major rain storms that day, it's no wonder it took them a few extra hours. It was no bother to us, and they made sure to install a tarp over the roof that hadn't been shingled before leaving for the evening. My friends at work said, "Make sure you check your yard for nails, because you'll find them." But up until now, all I've found are bits of plastic that were wrapped around the shingles. There are no nails in my yard, because they took a machine with a magnet around the yard to make sure all nails had been picked up. When you think of the rainstorms that we had, and all the debris that must have come off the roof and into the gutters and still no nails in the yard?! That's amazing! The Roof it Right crew were diligent workers, putting in two days of hard work to get our new roof installed. And Sergey, although called away to another work site, was easily reached and quickly responded to our questions and concerns. My husband and I are very impressed with Sergey and Roof it Right and wouldn't hesitate to refer him to any of our family and friends who need roof work done.

My roof was damaged due to a hail storm. I called several contractors and most did not return my phone call. I researched Louisville BBB and angieslist. I called Roof it Right and Sergey (Owner) called me right back. He came out looked at my roof and gave me a free estimate. He even came back the next day with the adjuster. Over the years I have used all kinds of contractors. This company does things alot different. First of all they listen. That was very important to me. I had alot of questions and he always responded promptly. Mr.Sergey Churbanov and his crew replaced my roof, and it looks fantastic! He is very honest, highly professional, and has a very strong work ethic. They cleaned up my yard afterwards. I was so impressed with this company. I was treated like his biggest client. A roof repair was now required. We spoke to a number of recommended roofers and although Sergie of Roof It Right was not the "Low Bidder", after meeting with him and walking through the items of our concern we were pleased to initiate a contract with Roof It Right. I might add he was very responsive to our calls and came back on a Saturday to talk with both my husband and I together. We selected a more expensive shingle, and it had to be shipped from Texas. It arrived the day before we anticipated the work would begin. We discussed the care that would be given to the bedding and trees around the house. We were lucky and the work was completed in between two major storms in the Louisville area. The Team worked well together and put in approximately 3 very long full days. Again our concern was around the areas that collected leaves during the fall and we wanted a waterproof sealant and flashing that would prevent future damage from occuring (If I were in the market for a home, this would be the one I would buy). Our contractor was onsite daily and was normally the last one to leave. I have since had other home owners stop by my home to inquire about his work. They were already impressed as they saw he was there every day. Roof it Right was not the lowest bidder, nor was he the highest, but I believed we'd be able to work with him, and he with us through any unforseen issues. We took an educated guess about the completion date and made an appointment with Direct TV to re-align the Dish. Homeowners, our advice whether you're using Roof it Right or another Roofer and you have a dish, have the roofers remove it and DO NOT have them attempt to re-install it. No issue for us, but it could have been as the adhesives and screws used to secure the device may have cause unneccessary damage to our new roof. Sergie did exactly, and more than he promised us. I would highly recommend his services. A true professional and passionate about his work!!!

I haven't really made any decisions yet about what to do yet. Roof It Right came out, looked at the roof and gave me some estimate. Everything was great so far but I haven't had any actual work done. As far as the deal goes, everything was great.Pricing seems reasonable but I haven't really had any other bids or anything yet so I'm not actually sure. It all looks good.

They came right away, they were right on time and they gave me an estimate on spot. I thought they did a very good job giving me a quick estimate. I don’t know if I would use them but I am waiting for other quotes. They quoted me $6700.

Took a few email conversations to finally get a date setup for provider to come out and complete the repairs, but when he arrived, he explained what the issue was and what was going to be done to correct it. The work was completed on the first visit and from all appearances seems to have resolved the issue. I would recommend this company to others.
